SheCodes Basics

This workshop was a great introduction to learn and understand the basics to coding. It's a great foundation for those who are curious and eager to learn more about an industry that is booming and needs more gender representation. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to dip their toes into a new and exciting world that is truly rewarding!

I started the SheCodes Basics course as an absolute beginner. I always found coding intimidating, but this course explains things bit by bit, allowing you to steadily build up your knowledge and understanding. Before I knew it I understood HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how to make them all work together. I'm so glad I took this course as it de-mystified coding and I felt a real sense of accomplishment in being able to make a webpage from scratch at the end of it.

A very pleasantly structured course with clear progression and implementation of various concepts. Didn't overcomplicate things and really fun. Furthermore, having access to a responsive and friendly team to help with any of your questions was great! 10/10 recommend :)

Coding always seemed like rocket science to me, but thanks to SheCodes I learned a lot about it in a short time period :)

It's a good way to learn the foundations of coding. I especially liked that we were challenged to think outside of the box and seek help either from the Slack community or google solutions on reliable websites. Matt gave clear instructions/demonstrations which were easy to digest.

I've started to my self-learning coding journey a while ago and I lost my motivation so many times. I feel super lucky to come across SheCodes because everything has been way more easier with Matt and SheCodes community! Do you have a problem? It's okay just go on Slack and enter key words. You will most likely see another person who had the same problem and a great community who already helped that person with the solution!! And if you are like me who loves listening to music while study you will love SheCodes Radio! This workshop is an amazing opportunity for beginners and for the ones who may feel lost or do not know what they are doing. I'm back on track and feel motivated more than ever thank you SheCodes!

I loved learning how to code in HTML, Java and CSS through this workshop: it helped me a lot, because I couldn't make it alone.I recommend this course, with the advice to study and practice, with a lot of good effort: it will be a wonderful learning-trip with Matt as your teacher: I adore his method!Also, I have to thank (and to personally recommend) the SheCodes Team, that supported me and reviewed all my homeworks!

I have zero background in coding but the curriculum developed by SheCodes makes it easy to understand and fun to learn! The workshop really took me every step of the way with challenges and homework to help put what I've learn into practice. Even I did not have experience coding, the instructor Matt made it easy to understand and follow the steps. I can definitely say that I spent the best and most wonderful period of my life on this platform. It's incredibly fantastic. I also work with C ++ and Python, but no course has attracted me as much as this one, so I can sit at a desk for hours and just learn and do projects. The most amazing teacher in the world teaches here so that in addition to answering all the questions, he also reviewed my project without sending it to him and motivated me to continue. And when I put my certificate on my Instagram, he put it on his Instagram. There is no description for the completeness of this course and the extraordinariness of its master, because words are incapable of description. And more importantly, the company responds to all emails and, if there is a problem with the certificate, fixes it immediately before 24 hours and is very friendly. And most of all, you can find wonderful friends to motivate you.

I completed SheCodes Basic last week, and I've just started the next course SheCodes Plus. Four weeks ago I had never coded in my life, and I was convinced it was something that required a high level of math to be able to figure out, so I never imagined that after just 3 weeks of SheCodes basic I could build basic projects and write basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The instruction is great. Matt makes it very understandable and fun, and uses good examples to get his point across. Each lesson has an accompanying challenge that let's you test out what you just learned, which works really well. The rest of the SheCodes team are also really helpful, always willing to give advice and instructions on Slack. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who would like to learn to code!
