I am a begineer in the PGP AI ML program with Great Learning . So far i am having a great expereince in terms of the structured and segmented content , in addition to the diverse mentors (with high experience in their relevant fields ) and also the support from the Program team especially from Arpit helps me a lot. There is lot to learn and so i can say this is agreat platform to begin with.

I'm currently taking the Post Graduate Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program by the Texas McCombs university in collaboration with Great Learning. So far its been a fantastic experience. The quality of the content, the instructors, the platform, the pace of the sessions and the real world practical projects have exceed my expectations. I finished my bachelors in Mechatronics with the traditional in-person class system, and I wish I could pick a system like the one used at great learning. Consuming introductory content at you own pace before a mentored session with an experienced professional has enhanced my learning experience and how much information I fully absorb and retain. Just 3 months to go? Wooow!!!!!!. I can't believe I made it this far. So, when I enrolled in the program, I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it this far considering my extremely tight schedule. As a single parent, a leader at church and a worker, I was looking for a course that would cater to my needs, but Great Learning did that and even more. Throughout this journey, I have received tremendous support from Usha, my account manager; from extending assignment deadlines to other technical support, Usha has really been helpful. The student support system at Great Learning is highly efficient and effective.The program itself has been awesome and has lived up to expectation. The faculty are experienced and on top of their games, the course materials are well structured and very resourceful. The curriculum is practical (hands-on) with nuumerous industry/business applications. There are also supplementary reading materials (available for downloading), as well as additional case study materials for personal practice.Furthermore, the AI mentored sessions have been very helpful, aligning with the course strategy. Prior to enrolling, I didn't have a solid fundation in AI and ML, but the course structure took care of that, the Foundational Courses helped in filling those gaps.Additionally, the e-portfolios generated after each project work enables one to share their experiences and successes with the public and prospective employers. Also, their robust learning platform, Olympus, is very easy to navigate and always accessible (available). It is always up to date with your progress as a student. Overall, the experience has been awesome and worthwhile. I'm having value for my money. Keep it up! What really makes this program stand out is the curriculum. They did a fantastic job of mixing the heavy-duty theory with stuff you can actually use on the job. We started with the basics of Python, then quickly moved into the deep end with machine learning, NLP, and even forecasting.
But the best part was that everything was tied back to real-world business problems. We weren't just learning theory for the sake of it. For example, when we learned about random forests, we immediately used it to build a model to predict why customers might leave. When we covered NLP, we put it to work analyzing sentiment from financial news. It makes the skills you pick up feel solid and useful from day one.

I joined Great Learning’s PGP AI/ML program with a non-traditional background — I’d been in IT support for years and wanted to pivot into AI/ML. I mainly went through the modules on my own rather than reaching out for extra support. The good thing is, the program is structured in a way where you can do that. Each module builds logically, the concepts don’t feel rushed, and the projects force you to apply what you learn instead of just memorizing slides.I haven’t completed the career prep part yet, so I can’t comment deeply on that. But even going solo, I came away with projects and a much better grasp of ML than when I started. Overall, Great Learning was exactly the structure I needed to stop spinning my wheels and actually level up. If you’re serious about moving into data science or AI/ML and you’re willing to put in the work, I’d recommend it.

I should be finishing the course in few weeks. However, the journey so far has been awesome, right from the word go, the curriculum, MIT professors, and program advisors keep you very engaged in the program. This program starts off with foundational python course, and slowly diving into machine learning and advance machine learning concepts, followed by neural networks and NLP with generative AI and prompt engineering, to close it off with computer vision and model deployment. This is a very comprehensive program, giving you a very strong foundation in AIML. For each module there are weekly quiz’s followed by a project at the end of each module. The delivery is phased out so well providing you enough hands-on opportunities to apply the concepts that you have learnt to the actual projects. Also, each week there is so much materical available for additional references, and hands-on practices that will help you review the learnings from the class videos. Even some of the very complex content for e.g. Bagging, Boosting, Clustering, Neural networks, Attention mechanisms and transformers in LLMs are so well explained by the MIT professors in the videos and the weekly MLS sessions with the instructor/mentors that review this content are really awesome. I know the industry is evolving so fast it will be hard to keep up with the pace, but I would suggest to include Agentic AI in the curriculum as a separate module to cover in more detail as that seems to be the hot subject in the AI world these days after LLMs. Also, I would like to mention the great support the program advisors provide. They do a commendable job in supporting you through out the program around the busy schedules. 

I'm so glad I signed up for this class. It has been amazing. The content is very thorough and comprehensive. The structure is fantastic. The only thing I will say is that it takes a lot more time than they say, so be prepared for that. In hindsight, I am really happy about that. It has to be this way to get the comprehensive coverage that we are getting, and I much prefer to learn all the material we are covering than to have it be the weekly commitment they had advertised. It seems to me we are covering something close to 2 years of full-time school, if not more.
