I am currently taking the Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications (PGP-AIML) offered by The University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business, in collaboration with Great Learning. The course is exceptionally well-structured, curated, and organized. It is optimally paced, providing valuable information and knowledge with a strong focus on case studies addressing real-life business problems. This makes it easy to see how various Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques and algorithms can be applied to solve these challenges.The concepts are thoroughly explained by knowledgeable senior faculties and industry professionals who guide us as mentors in weekly sessions. The hands-on experience with various techniques is incredibly effective in understanding those concepts, and the project assignments further help in applying them. The challenges encountered during project work clarify many doubts and solidify my grasp of the techniques.Moreover, the learning platform, Olympus, is well-designed, making it easy for students to navigate between different sections and access ample material to master the concepts. The course offers various facilities, including access to cutting-edge resources, interactive learning modules, and continuous support from program managers. The program managers are very responsive and provide excellent support to ensure the successful completion of the program.I would strongly recommend this course to anyone interested in the field of AI and Machine Learning, especially those planning a career in this exciting field.

When I initially started this course, I felt confident.  When I had quizzes to submit, I wondered what I got myself into.  Despite this, I pushed on.  You will be challenged but hang in there.  The Instructors are kind and supportive with multiple ways to contact them.  You can ask your classmates and Instructors for help, it's a real community of learners.  A suggestion is to use captioning.  It really helps when your learning new data science jargon.

Embarking on the Post Graduate Programme in AI and ML with Great Learning and UT Austin's McCombs School of Business felt like setting sail in the middle of a stormy ocean, with no prior experience navigating a ship. Initially, I was overwhelmed and ready to give up. However, witnessing peers ready to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zones inspired me to persevere. The support from professors and mentors, who delivered concepts with stunning clarity and hands-on practices, gradually anchored my understanding.
The journey was grueling—balancing work, quizzes, case studies, projects, and hackathons was a daunting task, especially with 20+ years work experience in a complete different field. Yet, reaching the first milestone and securing a top 10 spot fueled my determination. A special mention goes to Debanwee, our life-saving program manager, always available to support us like Poseidon in the storm.
With each milestone, I saw improvements and even topped several courses. Starting with Python Foundation and then Machine Learning, Advanced Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Supervised learning, Ensemble techniques and Model Tuning .... and many more within every courses!! Now, as I near the end, I can hardly believe how far I’ve come. The journey was so enriching that I don't want it to end; I'm eager to explore new horizons and complement this rigorous journey.
This certification from the McCombs School of Business has been a testament to hard work and resilience, positioning me at the forefront of AI and ML. It's been an exhilarating voyage, and I’m excited to continue exploring the vast ocean of knowledge.

I am at the tail end of my "Post-Grad Program in AI & ML: Business Applications" with The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business and Great Learning. I was given a phrase at the beginning, "Trust the Process". More valuable words have never been said. The information taught starts to build upon itself and makes logical sense from the first course onward. The way I have been supported by numerous personnel should be a great source of pride for the faculty and staff. My program manager Debanwee is always there to lend a virtual hand, no matter the topic. Additionally, the portal for learners, (we're learners, not students lol! I just love that), "Olympus" is well thought out and intuitive. Olympus is stocked full of curriculum and course material. The "class" videos are easily digestible and if any portion isn't readily understood, there are ample subject matter experts there for support and there are weekly, live, virtual classes led by very knowledgeable people who will take the time to answer any & all queries, issues, or otherwise. There are also additional non-mandatory courses that can fill in any knowledge-gaps a learner may have. They seem to have thought of everything. I was sidelined from my career by a medical crisis, and now that it is time to return to my IT career, this sort of upskilling couldn't be more perfect. Many kudos to all those responsible for making this program available.

I have been a lawyer in the life sciences space for almost 30 years.  In the last couple of years, the topic of AI seemed to be a part of every conversation, and it also seemed like no one, including myself, really understood what it meant.  As a lawyer, how can I truly understand the risk and legal implications of AI if I don't understand what it is?  I researched various courses and selected the UT McCombs AI & Machine Learning: Business Applications Program based on the breadth and depth of the Program and the cost. It has been hard.  I had never coded and learning Python was very difficult.  I was frustrated most of the time.  Fortunately, Debanwee Ghosh, my Program Manager, was always encouraging and supportive.  Without her, I definitely would have quit.  She has been great about finding resources and she is always soliciting feedback to make the Program stronger and student-centric.  I really like the Program's learning model.  During the week, you watch videos and take quizzes to learn the theory, and the weekend session is used to apply the theory to an actual business case.  During that same session, students have the opportunity to ask questions and get immediate feedback.  The instructors have been very good.  My only note is that there isn't one single female instructor which seems out of step with the study body composition and industry trends.  As I approach the end of the Program, I am not only sad that it is wrapping up, but I am also so please that I did it.  I have increased my understanding of AI a thousand percent, and I am confident that I can bring much more value to my work than I did before.  Thank you!

I'm currently taking the PG course in AI & Machine Learning offered by the University of Texas at Austin and Great Learning, and it's been an amazing experience! The lessons are well-structured, starting from the basics and progressing to more advanced topics like neural networks. The hands-on projects are incredibly engaging, and they help reinforce what I'm learning. The instructors explain even complex ideas clearly, making it easy to follow along. The community and support resources (especially AI mentor for project support and interview preparation) are also excellent. I'm excited to keep going and apply these skills in real-world scenarios!

The courses are well thought out. The focus is on applying open source tools to create machine learning and artificial intelligence models.That is not to say that the course doesn’t go in-depth into how the models work and what to look for when training models. The course does go into that with some detail. This helps avoiding the “black-box” pitfalls so many of us have fallen into using tools without understanding how they work under the hood.The syllabus as well as the content is maintained regularly, all videos I watched made references to pretty recent stuff.

Participating in this intensive training on AI and ML applications has been the best experience. As someone who leads a data capture and analysis function in the agricultural research field, I am convinced that our success partly hinges on our ability to derive insight and actionable strategies from data in a comprehensive and timely manner. This training, coupled with hands-on projects, has allowed me to navigate opportunities to answer existing and emerging questions. In particular, the course content on deep learning, computer vision, and neural network models has equipped me with the skills to leverage these advanced methodologies to enhance our analytical capabilities. By applying computer vision techniques, I can now process and interpret complex visual data, which is invaluable for tasks such as phenotyping and yield prediction. A very well-designed learning journey that blends hands-on experiences with solid theoretical knowledge. It does require a time commitment, but the value of what you gain makes it all worthwhile. I am  really getting the depth and breadth I was looking for in AI. The program helped me catch up and stay on track in this fast-paced, exciting field. The combination of online videos, quizzes, live sessions with industry experts, and real projects was ideal for my schedule and needs.  It let me structure my learning, get a solid grasp on the basics, and really dive deeper when I wanted. Plus, the chance to ask questions and get feedback during sessions made a difference.Though, you do need to set aside enough time to really get the most out of it, but whenever I hit a bump (like family important requirement), the program manager was available and quick to find flexible solutions to help me out.

First-class user-interface, constant attention and assistance from first-class individuals, invaluable exposure & networking with those in the field you plan to enter. The program creates an urgency and accountability at times too fast a pace - but with the resources and motivation to compel and propel you to achieve the goals and gain skill-set which you came seeking. It is what you make of it - time, attention, interest, and dogged perseverance - but for the value and and pay-out potential, it would be hard to find a superior ready-made solution. 

I choose the Great Learning Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to deepen my technical expertise. The program covers essential topics, starting with the fundamentals and moving through advanced concepts like deep learning, NLP, and computer vision. The curriculum felt up-to-date and relevant, with a solid balance between theoretical learning and practical applications.
The faculty and mentors were exceptional, offering both guidance and industry insights. I found the mentorship sessions particularly helpful in understanding project requirements and improving my solutions. The platform was easy to use, with all materials and labs organized for quick access.

I think I was a bit skeptical like most people joining an online program for the first time. You don't know what to expect in terms of quality. The staff. The students. Everything has met my expectations, and even surpassed them in some cases. The great learning platform also has a dedicated space for career orientation and prep. Which I thought was pretty cool. I wasn't sure how they were really going to deliver remote job assistance. My resume has already been reviewed w/ recommendations however. 

I was a student for the March 2024 cohort for the AI/ML program. The course was a great experience overall. I learned the basics of data science and machine learning by watching high quality videos, attending mentor learning sessions, and working on projects that allow you to solve real world problems. It is a challenging course, but you will learn a lot in the process! I highly recommend the program. Also, they do offer job assistance after finishing the program. I have not participated in the job searching process, but will check it out in the future. 

Without a doubt, this program exceeded my expectations! The lectures cover a wide variety of topics and even though dealing with them could be quite challenging, the faculty provides all the tools needed to successfully complete them.  Also, the mentor does a remarkable job in going over the topics, clearing doubts and giving real life examples, which makes the journey easier. As for the program manager, she is there always to guide, help and assist if anything pops up. In brief, great program and a very professional staff!
