I am almost done with a six month course for AI/ML through University of Texas on the Great Learning platform. The program is well structured and was perfect for me as a full time employee.  I have a new skill set to bring to my role in finance that opens new ways to analyze data and create solutions. The staff has been wonderful and supported learning in various ways.  The professors were easy to follow in the pre-recorded videos we learn through weekly. We also have a live session each week with an industry professional. I enjoyed the small group session where we could ask questions and get support for our leader Nimish. Finally I received a lot of support from my program manager, Debanwee. She helps the class fit into my busy schedule and gives us reminders, encouragement, and advice to stay on track.  She was especially kind and helpful when I ended up with the flu the week one of our projects was due. All of these people made it possible to learn something new for me in a short time and successfully complete projects that will help with real world AI/ML tasks. 

This course was very well structured. It had just the right depth and breadth to let me get a great start in this field and be able to independently understand and evaluate technology progress. The curriculum was well developed, the assignments involved real world applications and were not just academic exercises.

I am about to complete the Postgraduate Program in AI & ML from Great Learning, and it has been a transformative learning experience for me. I have been enrolled in the AI/ML course offered by Great Learning for about 5 months now and targeting to wrap up by end of March. Overall, it has been very useful for me in understanding AI/ML concepts. What I find particularly useful is that the instructors/mentors are actual professionals from the industry. They are able to provide guidance based on their real world experience which helps in grasping the ideas better. The weekly quizzes are a good way to validate understanding of the course materials. The videos accompanying them are from instructors who are very knowledgeable and soaking up all that information is definitely challenging, but very useful.  Using Python, to validate models etc., was a lot more easier for me than when I tried using R earlier as part of something else. The projects are tailored to test out the understanding of the concepts even more in depth and take a significant amount of investment in time, but the learning gained as part of that process is difficult to replicate in other ways. The course is hectic without being overwhelming, requires dedication and focus rather than rote memorization. The knowledge gained as part of this course has definitely given me confidence in the overall AI/ML domain and I hope to leverage it to further my career aspirations.

I came into this program knowing absolutely nothing about data science, ai or machine learning, embarking on an unfamiliar knowledge journey. What I've gotten out of it is the foundational understanding of this fast-growing and very essential space and the ability to differentiate myself from others in my field. I feel more confident than ever about facing my upcoming job hunt head on because I now have AIML as another tool on my CV and list of abilities - something that felt so foreign to me just months ago. The tremendous support from the professors and my advisor Debanwee made it possible for me to succeed in this program while also accommodating my very busy professional and personal lives. 

Definitely recommend this course for  folks who are getting started in the Data science and AI field. They cover both AIML related mathematical and coding concept very well. Sometimes the curriculum can be a little hectic but if you give 1-2 hrs everyday.

Over the past 6–7 months, we have completed five projects covering Python Foundations, Machine Learning, Advanced ML, Neural Networks, and Computer Vision, and we are now diving deeper into Neural Networks. While mastering so many concepts has been challenging, the concept videos and expert instructors have done an excellent job of building each topic step by step, making the learning process engaging and effective.The quizzes and assessments have kept us on our toes, reinforcing our understanding, while the Mentored Learning sessions have been invaluable for clarifying doubts and deepening our knowledge. Additionally, our program manager, Debanwee, has been a constant source of motivation, providing well-structured study schedules that helped us stay on track.
