MIT IDSS AI & Data Science Program

I recently completed the MIT IDSS Data Science Machine Learning program that exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The content of the program is exceptionally comprehensive, covering a wide spectrum from the fundamentals of statistics and linear algebra to more advanced topics like supervised and unsupervised algorithms, deep learning, and generative AI. The material is thoughtfully curated, making it accessible even for those new to the field. What truly set this program apart, however, was the incredible support from the instructors. Their guidance was invaluable, providing clarity and insights that enriched the learning experience. The material itself was not only thorough but also exceptionally well-presented, making complex subjects surprisingly easy to grasp. Additionally, the live sessions with subject matter experts added immense value, offering a real-world perspective and enhancing the overall educational journey. In summary, this program not only equips you with a profound understanding of the subject matter but also ensures a supportive and enriching learning environment.

I had an amazing experience with the Data Science program. How the information was structured and the quality of the mentoring sessions was helpful in the learning process. Even though some of the courses didn't include as much coding as I would have liked, the information given in the pre-reads was detailed in such a way that it made the understanding of the basics of the processes that we had to run in the projects easier providing a strong foundation for our work.

Ask me one of the best decisions I made in 2023, I would say it was enrolling in this course. I had almost moved on to other things but changed my mind at the last minute to apply for it and I do not regret coming on board. Yes, I almost quit mid way as certain things weren't clear (Pandas almost messed with my head) but the program Manager came through on how to navigate and learn better. A great Guy. As a data enthusiast, I just realised what I had been missing. This course has spurred my interest in taking on more courses in Data Science & Machine Learning which I definitely will. I enjoyed every bit of my journey here as this marks this beginning of my journey into the world of DS/ML/AI.

 I'm incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to take this 3 month program for Data Science and Machine Learning. I came into this program as a software developer wanting to transition into building Machine Learning models. It was such a comprehensive learning experience and I'm walking away with not only a real world application for Machine Learning and Al techniques and application but also, a better in-depth review of all the statistics and calculus calculations that go behind it. The platform was user friendly and organized, focusing on specific ML techniques each week as well as providing weekly live mentor sessions with walk through and live codding. There were such informative and great learning content as well as countless case studies for you to practice and apply what you were learning with each module. Overall, an amazing experience that I highly recommend if you are looking to learning machine learning and AI. 

This is a great program for professionals who want to learn about data science and machine learning. The program is designed in a nice way that students can utilise the resources fully and efficiently. They have recorded sessions and videos , online classes, quizzes and projects. The pace is nice and they designed it by taking care of holiday seasons. Best part of the program is they have an account manager and it helps a lot specially if you have any issues you can get help with in few hours. Also the coding part they have options to choose low code or full fledged coding projects which is helpful for the people who don’t have much experience in coding. Also quizzes and projects helps to get better understanding about data science.I highly recommend this program for all learners who wanted to have weekend classes and learn tough and popular concepts of data science without any issues. Kudos to Great learning team and MIT professionals who maintain the high level of the program with great dedication and efforts. Thanks 

I recently completed Great Learning's Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. The course was well-structured and presented clearly and concisely, making it easy to follow along even for someone new to the field. The instructors were knowledgeable, and the mentors/program support provided excellent support throughout the course, always willing to answer questions and offer guidance. The assignments were challenging but manageable, and the feedback provided was always constructive and helpful. Overall, I feel like I have gained a solid foundation in machine learning and would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in this exciting field.

I work as a Vendor Project Manager at a localization company and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.I chose to enroll in this program to transition my career into a growing industry. The program, offered in partnership with an accredited university, seemed like a solid step forward for me professionally.My learning experience throughout the program was excellent. The curriculum was meticulously designed to maximize learning over 6 months. It included pre-recorded video lectures organized into multi-section modules, live online lectures where students could interact with the instructor, supplementary articles for deeper understanding, and additional modules without deadlines to further enhance learning.My favorite aspect of the program was the hands-on projects. These projects provided practical solutions to real business problems and reinforced the concepts learned in the modules. Completing these projects significantly boosted my confidence in solving practical business problems.My key takeaway from this program is that it teaches you enough understanding of the different specialties in the industry for you to decide what specialty you’d like to further your career in. The MIT Machine Learning Data science course offered by Great learning is a truly amazing course that is completely worthwhile the investment. Through this course I was able to go at my own pace and learn so much content without feeling lost or behind at any moment, the video explanations are clear and concise helping you follow and understand the topic, even more the Mentored learning sessions where really helpful and educational and were always very organized and given heads up for the times and days. Furthermore the team is truly amazing and are there to help in any way, personally I have had an amazing experience with the program and the team that helped me. My program manager was an incredible help when I felt that I needed extra time or support for specific topics, it truly made the learning journey worthwhile and fun while also being very educational. I recommend taking this course as I truly believe that it is worth the investment and time dedicated to it!

It is an excellent decision to take this course. Thanks to it I learned programming in Python, which is currently an indispensable tool in many jobs.And not only that, I really liked the way they teach the course, they have short videos that I can watch whenever I want. In addition, they also have a written explanation of the material. They provide practice exercises and quizzes to reinforce learning. In general, the explanations are clear. If you have questions, they have several ways to request help. I was surprised by their response speed.I learned a lot and had fun.

Very current topics, efficient and professional learning support, with both compulsory and optional sections. With extensive extra materials, suggestions and projects, this course is a good fit for beginners as well as experienced individuals. Added bonus: access to the materials on the server for 1-3 years. 

The program comes with excellent resources and case studies. I got to learn by solving problems on projects. The live mentor sessions were really helpful. I am thankful to the team at great learning for their support and I hope this will be a great beginning for me as I pursue a career in Data Science.

The Course was very well presented excellent program with great access to program resources and mentorship. A wealth of information also available very well presented.
