They kicked out students from their discord server who dare to complain. -They changed the half of the tasks to optional to reduce the number of the drop out students. -Force you to apply for jobs from day 1 without any experience or learning (sincethey get the money from DfE after the student got an interview) -Lecturer has no experience at all and we were sitting on a lecture for 1 hour to see that the lecturer cannot solve a problem. -You cannot book a mentor for 1 to 1 since they don't have enough mentors or not even comes to the meeting after you got a date. -They started to flag negative feedbacks here to try to make their feedbacks better. -They removed their UK branch to remove Google review since they had nearly 2 stars feedback on it(so now you can find them only in Africa).

I self-funded this course. I enjoyed the first few modules, and I am generally good in self-studying. However, the pdf lessons were just lacking content in relation to completing the assignments, and I had to do more research. 1:1 mentor support had been unavailable twice, and they were not knowledgeable enough to answer my coding queries. Unfortunately, I had to stop the course after the 1st month due to illness and finance issues. But guess what, they still wanted me pay the full tuition. There were several breeches in their contract. I had to raise complaints with the affiliated Uni and Department of Education. I'm surprised that I'm not the only one facing these issues. This bootcamp was well advertised (posters on trains, adds on Facebook), and it had good & unrealistic promises, but the teaching method has not delivered. Their model seems like a kickstarter & a money making scheme, and like the others commenting below, I will raise them to court if necessary. They deserve more attention from the media.

It was really long stressfull journey however the mentors were always there to assist . From "Hello World!" on HTML to a Fullstack app , it has been a wpnderful experience being able to code on my own and interacting with other coding geniuses across the continent and learning from everyone i come across

The Bootcamp was a great experience. It gave me the leg up that I demanded to change my career and it tutored me the knowledge and chops demanded for web development.
The opportunities that have surfaced from this experience are good. I did everything that was asked of me to become employer ready.
I chose this program for changing my career direction to Web developer and it really helped me a lot.
I wanted to make a career change, and the program gave me the basic and the confidence to make it happen.

I am nearing the end of my bootcamp and I can't believe how much I have learnt. I have been doing a full time course and although challenging it has been thoroughly enjoyable. The course content is clearly delivered and in depth. The mentors are very knowledgable, professional and always go the extra mile to help. I 100% recommend HyperionDev!

I recently completed an online full stack web development bootcamp and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The course material was comprehensive and covered everything from HTML and CSS to JavaScript and backend development frameworks. The instructors were knowledgeable and always available to answer questions or provide extra support.
One of the things I appreciated most about the online bootcamp was the flexibility it provided. I was able to work at my own pace and fit the coursework into my schedule, which made it easy to balance with my other commitments.
The course also included a number of hands-on projects that allowed me to apply what I had learned in a real-world setting. These projects helped me develop my skills and gave me confidence in my ability to build functional and visually appealing websites.
Overall, I would highly recommend this online bootcamp to anyone interested in pursuing a career in web development. It provided me with the skills and knowledge I needed to start working as a junior developer, and I feel well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Hyperions courses are amazing, there is definitely help from a vareity of mentors which is awesome, and the course moves from basics to advanced in a staggered way that slowly builds up your confidence, however there is no such thing as spoon feeding if you want to learn programming! Youv got ot figure it out! that being said they really do help alot and it is definitely worth the money, i just hope they give me alittle more time to finish as i tend to overthink things and therefor move alittle more slowly than other students. The career expo they run is amazing and i cant wait to join the graduate programme

I was told by the admissions department that this course was suitable for complete beginners. It is not. The course content is written in an overly complicated way, expecting some previous knowledge and a lot of independent research. The examples used in the course material are so far removed from the compulsory tasks that they are unhelpful. At the end of every reading I feel lost. I have to read the compulsory task and spend hours researching the topic via google before I can even attempt the task. Once your task is reviewed you have to resubmit if it's below 75% correct. You receive your feedback but there is no option to message back to the reviewer. Which means if what they are requesting doesn't make sense or feels unfair you are on your own. I opted for a part time course and made it clear to the admissions department that I would be studying alongside a full time job. I made it clear I would only be able to dedicate 10 hours a week to the course. The pace of the course matched with the amount of research needed outside of the material provided by the course means I would never be able to complete this course within the allotted time. The amount of research needed outside of the course material means the course is a waste of money. I could spend 10 hours a week completing youtube tutorials and reading online forums and learn more than this course. I don't know what I have paid for as I do not feel I will come out of this course in 6 months with any confidence or ability to get a job in this field. They speak a lot about offering lots of support. My experience of the discord channel is the mentors on there don't understand how to teach a beginner. If they can't help you they refer you to book a longer call with a mentor. These calls are available mon-fri in normal working hours. However the availability is never next day which means you are on your own for at least a few days. Also, with managing studies alongside a full time job, it means most of the calls (when there are any available) are at times when I am at work. This course has left me feeling stressed and depressed. And down a lot of money!

My experience with Hyperion Dev is excellent. The curriculum is well structured and the course content is up to date. The best part of the bootcamp is the code reviewers / mentors with insightful feedbacck

The full stack Web development Bootcamp is amazing. I have received amazing support from HyperionDev. The reviews that I receive on my tasks are very detailed to show me exactly where to improve and what to change. The best decision I made was to start with the Bootcamp.

I have had a great experience with Hyperion Dev. Their support is top notch and have an excellent curriculum. The code reviewers offer great feedback that allows you to learn from where you went wrong. I highly recommend them to all!
Student 2022
The mentors were helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They were punctual during code review sessions and I was never kept waiting. Support staff were friendly and helpful but some requests I put through took them quite a while to respond to. Course content covers a wide variety of areas which was nice, but some topics are covered too vaguely and without enough examples and deep enough explanations to grapple effectively with the task. While this was only the case with some tasks it did at times make it hard to progress. Average completion times on the dashboard do not give an accurate depiction of how long each task should take which makes it hard to effectively plan your time and easy to fall behind if you get stuck on a problem. The student champion system which allows past students to help current ones was a good idea and it proved to be a valuable support resource. The variety of different tasks allowed me to practice implementing my newly learned skills in different scenarios which allowed me to consistently improve over time. Overall this course provided me with many new skills and boosted my confidence as a developer. There are however several key areas that could be improved upon.

I started my journey with HyperionDev knowing absolutely nothing about coding. The course got me coding in no time with their approach to mastering the essential skills to become a web developer. The real world projects really helped in bringing all the different pieces of the puzzle together. Coding is not easy but HyperionDev's methodical approach will clear a lot of the confusion a self starter would face going it his/her own way. The estimated completion dates also push you to complete projects and tasks and keeps you accountable. The support team and mentors are extremely helpful and patient when it comes to questions and enquiries. Overall I am glad I enrolled for this course and would recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing web development.

The bootcamp teaches all the necessary concepts needed to grow yourself into a successful web dev. There were problems in the beginning with not enough reviewers for 1 on 1 calls but that has been sorted out and it's easier to get calls with reviewers. Reviewers really do help when you are stuck with a certain concept

It's a trap! I generally don't leave reviews, but here, I feel that I'd like to, only in order to prevent more people from falling into this trap, and having their money go to waste. This course was a pure waste of money. I applied for the Full Stack Web development course, but not long after the initial trial, I was left with hardly any support whatsoever from any of the tutors. I struggled on my own through the material for months on end, and even had to pay extra to extend in order to buy more time to keep up. When I had a question or needed help and tried to reach the tutors, most times there was no answer. This is no exaggeration. There was a total lack of support that only started getting more better around more than a year (!) after I started, by which I had not much motivation to continue. They also blocked all access to the course materials, once my course finishing date had been reached, despite their original promise that all course material could be accessed at any future point. Besides, their course material was very poorly written, and a lot was left to the student to decipher on their own. Heavily based on external research, which was often left at the students' discretion. In addition, when I did manage to make a meeting with a tutor to go through a problem, most of the time they didn't know how to help and had to get back to me, or otherwise used the session to try out different ideas and play around, to see what might work. They were clearly inexperienced and unfortunately this was a complete waste of money. Do yourself a favour and DON'T take this course.

So far I've had a great experience, they are on top of things and very professional. I even had the admission consultant PamelaJ respond to my emails in the late evenings and call me outside of her working hours just to assist me, and everyone I know that goes to a higher institution knows that the admissions department isn't always the best part of their experience. There are many platforms they provide to get assistance and also you have many mentors that are available to assist besides your assigned mentor if he/they/she is not available. They also have a user-friendly online platform, nothing annoys me like a higher institution that has a Windows 3 looking format, visuals, unfortunately, do matter to me. Most importantly, the content is well structured and builds up well for the next topic, they provide you with additional resources and some videos to help introduce you to the work you will be doing, along with some spot questions with answers to help you grasp the core outcomes of the lesson, which you can choose to do and does not count towards the tasks that need to be submitted. The free trial course they provide gives an advantage when you start with the course because as a beginner you really have no clue and helps you ease into the actual course without feeling overwhelmed. Looking forward to my graduation in 5 months' time :D.

I am currently enrolled in the full-stack web dev online bootcamp at Hyperion Development. I am rally impressed with the way the course has been run so far. The course material is thorough and the tasks challenging, in a good way. And when you do need help with tasks setting up meetings with your mentor is super easy, and the community is also amazing to reach out to for assistance. All of my support requests have been dealt with smoothly, making it easier to focus on learning.
