I have had a few weeks of experience using the DataCamp platform, following a scholarship award from Data Community Africa. It has been a good interactive session. I previously had tried learning data science in diffeerent platforms- linked in learning, youtube, and all had the same problems- I didnt feel like I was having a good and nice flow of concepts right from the beginners guide to the intermediate and to the advanced levels. In this platform, I see myself grow, thanks to the interactive dashboards and practical activity.

The company only closed because of our course; they had no certificate, didn't reply to our emails, and were a whole scam. Initially, we applied and paid for three courses, each of which would last three months. Our second two courses were cancelled over the first three months. Upon the completion of the first course, which was baiscs for Python Microsot Power Bi Course includes the certificate "test voucher" to apply for the exam in lieu of the other two courses they provide us. Egypt will shut down after this course is over. We emailed, but received no response, requesting the login credentials to take the test. Even after completing our power bi training, we were not given the certificate.

For each curriculum, there should be an accompanying ebook. For example, for Exploratory Data Analysis, a PDF could be attached to the course/curriculum that captures all the key points of the lecture. This would be especially useful for those who may struggle with foreign accents. While transcripts are helpful, ebooks would play an even greater role.If you permit me, I’d be happy to compile everything I've learned into a structured and standardized text format. Additionally, I think DataCamp should consider offering Data Science courses in other languages. Many Africans overestimate their ability to fully grasp content in foreign languages, compared to native speakers. Take the word ‘unique,’ for example; it may not carry the same nuance for many Africans as it does for Americans.I'm open to being employed to help make these translations happen."

I am an Epidemiologist and Biostatistician with a PhD. The course about phyton and data analytics using methods more specific for data scientists was an exciting experience, and the prestige of MIT is significant for my career and working area. I am delighted. Also, using data related to areas different from health data was exciting and funny.

At a certain point in my life, I needed a change, and perhaps it was a trend, but definitely something interesting, and I decided to become a programmer. The first choice was between Java and Python, then whether to focus on apps or data. I started with a 7-month bootcamp as a Python developer, then I purchased two more advanced bootcamps: one on analysis and visualization with Python, and another on big data fundamentals with PySpark. While learning, I landed my first job as an intern. As a lover of data frames and tempted by a YouTube ad featuring a guy by a pool, I clicked on DataCamp and signed up. It dawned on me that the two-month-long professional bootcamps I had paid a hefty price for were thoroughly covered and presented on DataCamp for about $15 a month, and there's a multitude of such topics available. Thus began my adventure with DataCamp, which has lasted for over 2.5 years. I've been following paths, returning to necessary knowledge in relation to projects, and progressing at my own pace and convenience, which makes DataCamp an endlessly great bootcamp for me. When it comes to the range of data taught there, it covers everything up to the advanced level, which is awesome.

I love datacamp. I believe it’s a great platform to start. I’m about to finish a bootcamp in data science. Datacamp has helped me to set base, and improve some skills. I don’t recommend it to rely only on the knowledge just from here but build up from it or improve on things you already have.

I was so scared to change, to start all over, and to become a novice after building my career in a field that no longer served me. I had zero coding experience or exposure to the tech sector before using DataCamp. Now, I feel so grateful that DataCamp exists as a one stop shop with the tools, assessments, certifications, and Career Tracks to get me to my goals. It is such a useful tool and resource that is easy to access and fun to use. I can earn points for learning and reviewing course material all while tracking my progress on my way to becoming a Data Scientist. And once you finish a career track, Datacamp also hosts materials to help build a portfolio and resume employers are looking for. I feel competent and confident even amongst experienced Data Scientists and Engineers. I'm changing my life and earning potential, and it's all thanks to DataCamp!

DataCamp is my favorite platform for learning technical skills. The courses are designed to make the student learn and think about real world issues. Whether it is a beginning, intermediate or advanced course the structure is similar. You learn from short videos; then practice challenging exercises; finally, you put all together with excellent projects. For me, this learning experience is not only rewarding but also exiting. The instructors are extraordinary as well as the content of each course I have taken. Thus far, I have taken more than 60 courses in Python and SQL applicable to finance, research, higher education and more.

I am in charge of a Master's degree in Data Science (University of Lyon 2, France). Every year, I enrol my students in the DataCamp Academic Program. It enables to consolidate the knowledge acquired during our courses, but also to complement their skills by giving them access to content that goes beyond what we teach. I am very pleased, and I would like to thank DataCamp for this excellent opportunity and the quality of their program.

Datacamp is one of the best resources on the internet to learn the fundamentals of data science really well. I used their Data Science Track to prepare for a physical BootCamp, and I can only recommend it; there is so much, and it is presented in such a good way that you'll understand it and get better as you can practice everything you learn in Data Camp.

I recently enrolled in two R tracks on DataCamp and overall, I have had a positive experience with the platform. The courses offer a wide range of content, and I appreciate the flexibility and choices available to learners. However, there is one aspect that has been bothersome and somewhat frustrating: the constant push for an upgraded workspace, which comes with an additional cost.
The courses on DataCamp provide valuable and informative content. The material is well-structured and presented in a clear and engaging manner. I found the instructors to be knowledgeable and effective in explaining complex concepts. The platform itself is user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through the various modules and track my progress.
Unfortunately, my enthusiasm for the courses has been dampened by the persistent advertisement of the upgraded workspace. After subscribing to DataCamp through my workplace, I was surprised to find that I had to pay extra for this "upgraded" feature. This additional cost was not clearly communicated at the time of subscription, and it felt like an unnecessary burden, especially since I had already paid for access.
Moreover, what further exacerbates the issue is the frequency at which DataCamp promotes this upgrade. It feels like every time I log in or complete a lesson, I am bombarded with reminders and offers to upgrade. This constant over-advertisement creates a sense of annoyance and detracts from the overall learning experience.
I understand that companies need to monetize their platforms, and offering additional features at a cost is a common practice. However, it would be more transparent and user-friendly if DataCamp provided upfront information about the additional fees for the upgraded workspace, rather than surprising users after they have already subscribed.
Despite this drawback, I must emphasize that the quality of the course content and the variety of choices available on DataCamp are commendable. If they could address the issue of over-promotion and be more upfront about additional costs, it would greatly enhance the overall user experience.
In conclusion, while I am satisfied with the courses' content and the wealth of options provided by DataCamp, the constant push for an upgraded workspace and the subsequent extra cost have been sources of frustration. I hope DataCamp takes user feedback into consideration and works towards providing a more transparent and user-friendly experience for its subscribers.

The DataCamp platform provide a well design infrastructure to learn especially about data related tools and concepts.Learning concept is based on short lectures, which around 3-5 minutes, and a few practice on the given brief. Each course involve sub divisions that grouped by relevance and they sorted in proper order. The subdivisions start with a short brief and then reinforcing practices are presented to improve learning. The practices include interactive feedback to users in case of wrong or missing answers, which is very effective way to emphasis and improve the missed part of the given lecture. In addition to the individual courses, there are also skill and carrier tracks which are composed of several related courses, projects, practices and short exams. Practices and mini projects inside the platform allows users to refresh their knowledge and test themself. To sum up, the platform is building up in a extremely motivating way to learn. The web interface is easy to use designed for user while the front-end design, fonts, colors and graphics is also harmonious and beautiful. There are some minor deficiencies in the platform. For example, some feedback in the course might be misleading or irrelevant. Lastly, job matching part of the platform should be improved, there are limited number of position to apply.Let look at the DataCamp and get start to learn and enjoy.Thank you!

At Windesheim University of applied sciences we have been using Datacamp for our minor data science. It has been a great succes. Students can work on their own to get acquianted with certain topics. What is especially nice is the GUI for submitting your programming answers. Making it an interactive online programming interface, datacamp has really made it very easy to get started in for example Python. Overal this has flattened the learning curve significantly. In addition, the quality of the lectures is excellent.

Data science is a very young, highly interdisciplinary field. The Web is flooded with online learning offerings many of which are not suited for beginners and often only scratch the surface of the science in data science. There is a need for an online provider that has a well thought-out portfolio of courses that both motivates and challenges - DataCamp delivers exactly that.Because there are many different roads into data science, I also appreciate that DataCamp has a different approach from my teaching: students (especially undergraduates) benefit from hearing and practicing the same basic material in different ways, with different applications and techniques.Weaving high quality online resources into classroom teaching is the a new reality of academic instruction. It is well suited to the habits of today's students. In the case of data science, it is natural because many applications are already online, and it is unavoidable because the field develops so fast. DataCamp represents some of the best practices of online teaching, and it is well matched to the top instruction delivered in the classroom at Lyon College.
