Data Scientist

They "updated" a course, cutting the best professor of data science career track while I am in the midle of the course. They don't even gave me the option to finish my track to get my certificate. His suport takes way to long to give me help. I investedd way to many time and money and now i can't even proceed with my course. 

So after finishing the entire DataScience Career track and multiple random courses in Python I can say without a doubt this is an amazing intro platform.So let me be clear, Datacamp is ideal for students to quickly go over complex topics and get their feet wet ever so slightly. This is because the excercises are very obvious and they hold your hand a lot, but I would take that as a good thing.Because the best way to learn Data science is to learn just the minimum and then jump directly onto projects and once you come across tough concepts then just dwell deeper into them.So to get through the absolute minimum and retaining the info(as you actually code and play with code) Datacamp is ideal.However if you are looking for a challenging excercise everytime you learn a topic then this isnt for you. I am glad it isnt as it would have taken me twice as long to complete the tracks. One issue is that some topics here and there are covered by some lecturers , who doesnt do that great of a job explaining, but most are pretty amazing.I always keep referring back to my Datacamp cheat sheet or slides to recall certain concepts when working on projects, they are super helpful. 
 
One amazing thing in the data science track is that the order in which they teach you is exactly how you need to tackle the data science projects, they keep your mind clear and structured.

learing with DataCamp is very enjoyable and interesting.  The most important feature of learning with DataCamp that I can learn perfectly a lot of concepts and skills in short time. The traing with coding is perfect and very efficient. But I think some subjects especially like Deep Learing need to given in more details. In addition, I think it is better to add flash cards ot all courses.

Learning was never been so fun and easy. I could easily pick a track of my interest and rest all was taken care by DataCamp. The course content, video lectures, transcripts, practice and assessments including interim projects helped me gain the required skills in the domain. I feel confident now and am glad that could implement the acquired knowledge in my daily work profile. It really helped in gaining a place and repute in the organisation. The data scientist career track is extremely amazing, it dives into data wrangling, visualization, programming and statistics. It made me curious to know more about every aspect. The platform is user-friendly and is moving at a good pace for first time learners; also the material availability is another great point. 

My experience in DataCamp has been amazing! Since two weeks i got enrolled with learning Data Science and all its subtopics included in DataCamp's curriculum. It has been a boost on motivation and skills!

What I liked the most was that I felt suported by the tips and how well they explained the steps in the exercises, it really helped me remember the last lessons I had taken. Also it didn't feel scary and there is always a feedback button for the tips and I guess that helps to make them better.

My Experience:As a vivid learner, I have 38 certifications related to Data Science including IBM AI Engineer, and Nanodegree in Self Driving Cars. I still recommend DataCamp for learning, practicing and revising your data skills. When I started learning Data Science back in 2010, there were not much resources available, hence without much guidance I started learning every resource available in the internet. I wasted huge amount of time trying to find the right content, spent thousands of dollars to acquire the relevant knowledge. Because of DataCamp, you are fortunate enough to bypass the very same struggles, afford it at decent prices, and most importantly all resources are presented in a structured manner to shape you from being a novice to professional. Yes, when you are a beginner and do not know which course to begin with, these tracks saves the hassle of going through the entire catalog.
Unlike, 'learn by watching the videos' approach, DataCamp offers hands on practice, which is rare with most course providers. As they don't rely on video content much, updates are rolled out frequently, making the content up to date with the latest trends.
This is the most important and my favorite point of all, which is the reason I saved the best for the last. You do not have to take an education loan to acquire strong knowledge on Data Science. The DataCamp subscription won't cause you much, yet it has the potential to make a strong impact on your career. So what are you waiting for !!

Before taking courses from DataCamp I had no idea of how to develop a Data Science project portfolio. Now I'm getting the visibility I needed and developing skills I would not have opportunity to develop in academia.

The video and the practice is so much interactive. I can easily understand all the courses.

I Loved the the content as well as the unique presentation that it has, i'd absolutely recommend it.

 The courses offered by DataCamp are top notch, and nothing short of best in class. The uniqueness is that each course is small enough to grasp the core concept and then immediately followed by exercise. The fact that the instructors themselves are scholars in their field adds to be value. I would recommend every datascience student to at least browse and see for yourself, you will never repent. It has truly astonishing content for learning.

I really love DataCamp! As an outsider of the area, I'm a food engineer, I have found it really helpful to jump into this area. Now I'm looking into a career change. It's not only a learning site, you can practice, connect with professionals, find useful tips and cheat sheets. And a bonus, their podcast is really awesome too, I got inspired by the guests in it.

 Datacamp have been teaching me all the foundations in a very guided manner. They have provided me with a lot of video lessons and exercises that helped me to internalize the concepts taught. This is really a course where you don't need to have previous knowledge to learn, although if you already have worked with python before, you'll get ver confortable learning in datacamp. 

The courses are easy to understand, the exercises give a good look of the topic of the course.

 The SQL Skill Tracks offered are good learning resources, they currently offer courses using SQL Server and PostGreSQL. Topics are introduced with a quick 2-5 minute video and then the user gets to go practice the skills, often in a guided practice environment that provides useful feedback if you make a mistake. Site also offers projects where users can go use the skills they learned and a skills test that can help the user identify areas of weakness. Went through multiple skill tracks in a short period and gained a lot of confidence in my ability to write SQL queries. While the topics covered across the skill tracks were often similar (basics, aggregate functions, dates, nested q's, CTE's, window functions..), I actually found this very beneficial as it re-enforced the core concepts I needed to learn. Plus, you learn something different from each course, so you're learning different ways to use those core concepts.I have enjoyed all SQL offerings from DataCamp so far and I will be continuing my education on the site with a focus on Python next. I have only just started, but it's the same style learning experiences with a lot more course and track offerings, and I am feel like I am learning Python already. 

This was the website recommended by the University to study and get ready to a Masters in Data Science. I found the courses very interesting and well built. It definitely helped with the basics! Overall I'd definitely recommend using DataCamp (don't forget to practice "out in the wild" what you learn there). 

Honestly speaking DataCamp is the best learning site to me. I've taken a lot of from Coursera, EdX, Udemy, Udacity but DataCamp is my first love site... It’s step by step coding system is amazing & make easy learning to any learners. Best of luck DataCamp. 

Data science is a field that works with data. Data camp has taken their time to exhibit a well structured curriculum. Learning through Data Camp has been very encouraging and retaining because tutorial videos are concise and detailed. There are plenty of guided coding exercises in every module without local installation of any IDE. Everything is done online. The guided and unguided projects has been helpful in giving me real world experiences of working with real world data.Thanks to Data Camp.

DC provides straight theory plus hands on learning plus actual work like coding through exercises which I found nowhere. I regard datacamp highly..
