Data Science Virtual Academy

My experience has been wonderful. The mentors always respond quickly to answer questions. I’ve never been at school or job that has such support in place . I love it so far

When I first signed up I was nervous that I would struggle my way through the course. I had never done anything related to data science before (well, I thought I hadn’t). But everyone is super kind and understanding and ENTITY doesn’t leave you to flounder in the dark. There’s always some one there for you, to help you do it even when you think you can’t 

The training is simply the best with the support!

The curriculum covers a wide range of materials in compressed modules. It does a good job explaining the technical parts as well as the concepts behind each one. I'm currently not working and only has my Data Science school work that I found to be a bit more time-consuming than I expected so be prepared to put in as much effort as you can learning the material. The mentors are very helpful and responsive and it's been very easy to get assistance when needed.

I was so hesitant to do this bootcamp, but I am SO glad I did! Not only do you get the excellent curriculum from Woz-U, but you also get a lot of professional/soft skills development and coaching from the Entity side. The Fireside chats have been incredible for learning more from people who are actually out in the working world. I have done other online courses before, this one is the most well-rounded and valuable that I have taken. I can feel that I have grown so much. It’s so much more than just learning data science. And if you are curious about there being real job opportunities at the end of the program to apply for - don’t stress, it’s real and they are there!

I love the fact that I get a lot of support systems through my learning. Knowing the fact that I am deaf, I was never treated any different. I was supported every steps of the way when I needed help to understand what I am doing. Captions were provided and I am satisfied with every efforts they have put in. Highly respectful!

Entity Academy is partnered with WOZ In offering the Data Science program. I was skeptical but I really liked the coaching portion that Entity had to offer. There are coaches that really care about your well being and mental health. They taught us duty skills, management, and with stress. Or you can have a one-on-one with the amazing Ayana. There is live zoom meetings with various professionals in the data science or tech field. Woz U is behind the data science portion and offers lessons, modules to pass. The exercises and graded projects I feel really helped me understand the materials. But having said that I think you should still look at outside resources or ask your mentors for help. You are assigned and mentor and meet with them weekly so that you’re accountable and also can ask for help. So far the mentors I encountered are really cool and helpful. The supplant course outline and videos are soooo helpful. When I was stuck I would look at them. I have taken Database course at my college and I felt I learned more from the database course here at Entity. I loving my experience so far and looking to graduate. 

I never thought I would be good at coding and learning programming languages until I started the data science program with ENTITY Academy. The materials provided broke down technical concepts in a very easy-to-understand way, and help was always readily available when I needed it. You have to put in the time, energy and effort to find success but ENTITY does a great job of supporting students through one-on-one mentorship for hard skills and group coaching for soft skills. They also gave me financial assistance where I could complete the program without having to worry about payment until after I’ve secured a job (which ENTITY’s career services will help me with). The organization as a whole is clearly dedicated to empowering women to excel in the tech industry. I love what I am learning in my data science program and ENTITY has excited me for what the future holds!

Before I came to ENTITY I was struggling to find the right school for me. A lot of other colleges offering data science programs were either too lengthy, didn’t promise a career in the future, or were just way too expensive. I’m honestly very lucky to have come upon this school. The mentorship and lesson communication is phenomenal. We have reviews that test our knowledge and really help us to retain the information that we will need in our future careers! Entity offers job placement, life coaching, and so many other rewarding programs that serve as motivational affirmations. They push us forward! As women! And as students. You won’t have made a mistake choosing ENTITY for your data science education.

The course material is well organized and focused on practical applications. It’s well scripted with several examples and detailed videos. The mentors are always available. What I really appreciate is together with hard skills, there are life coaches that help with the soft skills as well. The training group is diverse, fire side chats gives us a chance to talk to industry leaders in our field. This is great networking experience.

Simple way to put it, they give you all the tools required to learn and grow with no knowledge. The mentors are a huge help and they provide you with plenty of resources for all different kinds of learners to choice their own way to learn. 

Make sure you commit your time wisely. The material is explained well but for someone like me, with no tech experience, it is challenging. You won't be expected to write essays. You will be asked to do some math but it's ok if you aren't the best at it. Attention to detail is EVERYTHING. It will be hard at times but the mentors, extra learning material, and study groups are a tremendous help. 

I have attended quite a few online schools and Entity’s staff, LMS system and support has been my best experience ever.  This is critical to success in applying the curriculum to every day scenarios.Moreover, the resources to reference after graduation are monumental.I am forever changed and in debt to this wonderful institution of learning.

When I was looking to start a bootcamp I didn’t know where to start. I’ve come across entity and sent an email. I was followed up with a call and from there I knew this is the bootcamp I want to attend. I’ve started in January all my courses are pretty straight forward whenever I have questions my mentor or any mentor is available to jump on a zoom to walk me through. Since starting I grew confidence in my work and built a great relationship with my mentor. I even made the directors list how amazing is that ! 

I highly recommend this school if you are interested in Data Science.  When ever I had a problem understand the material there was always someone to help me.

Choosing Entity Academy is the best decision I’ve ever made. The Mentors are amazingly helpful. Everyone wants to see you do well and there is so much help available , you are on the road to success. 

I am very happy that I found this program and I am confident that I am prepared to start my new chapter as a data scientist. The mentors are always available to help and are very knowledgeable in the field.

I am in the middle of my career life and I was looking to do a pivot into technology when I came across Entity's Data Science Course. I was concerned that with an online format I wouldn't get the live help I knew I would need given my background is the furthest thing from Tech. I have had great support.  The mentors, coaches and other staff at Entity are very involved and responsive and knowledgeable. I am learning so much and am excited for what the future holds. 

I had enrolled at another bootcamp prior to joining ENTITY Academy and the difference was starkly. This is definitely not your average coding bootcamp. I applied for the Data Science program and struggled in the beginning because I had been out of a learning environment for a minute but my mentor was super patient with me, the student career coaches encouraged and counselled, the instructors were fun, all the learning materials were thorough - the quizzes, the hands-on practice, the projects;  every topic was relevant and by the time I graduated, I felt very READY. ENTITY Academy has to be my best pandemic decision!!! I would forever be grateful to my mentor, my team mates and the management at Entity Academy for making this career transition relatively easy especially also for WOMEN!
