Chose Turing College for my Data Science course based on good reviews and emphasis on hands-on projects. The course is well structured with sprint projects for every new major topic covered, you get plenty of hands-on project work which is evaluated by peers and data science professionals. The program builds your understanding of data science and key skills required for professional application as well: presentation, reviewing and research. The material is plentiful with extra leads if you want to go down certain rabbit holes in your free time or if you want to 'spice up' your projects with fancy new tools. For me the reason Turing College stands out is the community that is built with staff, data science professionals and learners- plenty of live learning sessions to solve problems and discuss ideas with peers and professionals, active discord for pretty much 24/7 troubleshooting, accommodating staff that do the best to fit the course around the individuals. There is always someone to help and encourage which is a huge deal going through the learning process. I recommend Turing College to everyone who wants to jump on the exciting data science wagon and come out of the learning process with solid competencies and a portfolio. 

If you are looking to get into Data Science and want to find a good curation of material and resources to drive your self-learning, so you use your time as effectively as possible, Turing College might be a good fit.As someone who enjoys efficiency and deep understanding of topics, Turing College offers a well structured syllabus, and access to online self-paced resources (O'Reilly Books, etc...) that will help you get as deep understanding as you enjoy, without having to waste valuable time sifting through a lot of things.The learning path is cohesively structured and well guided (Basic Python, Data Analysis, Visualization, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, ...) so you can just focus on the topics that matter.The progress through the course is tracked through projects that you will develop and present individually to 2 reviewers, and this will give you an opportunity to get feedback and advice from both people who already went through it, as well as external full-time data scientists that provide real life experience from and challenging questions that will test your understanding and knowledge.The only downsides are that the pace might be a little bit too fast (you can study whenever you want, but you must reach specific deadlines for projects), and if you really enjoy depth, you might have to adjust your way of working/learning.... However, these are also factors that will affect your professional life, so this is a good opportunity to practice.If you like depth, If you are strongly motivated,If you are disciplined and don't require hand-holding,Turing College might be for you.

Turing College data science course offers well thought out course material that covers all the major parts of data science and you get to apply what you have learned, doing projects for which you receive feedback from experienced data scientists. It is incredible that this kind of course is even available . At the time of applying I was only 18 with some previous background in working on different coding projects, but really did not know what to exactly pursue. Going to one of my countries Universities also seemed like a waste and probably for the whole of the first year I would have known everything already aswell. I think Turing College really stands out for me because it is is very flexible with the learning curve depending on how much prior experience you have, so everyone can go in their own pace depending on how good they are at certain chapters.

It has been amazing for me to attend Turing College and learn every practical skill in Data Science and complete hands-on projects.Apart from having incredible and challenging contents with detailed guidelines, the entire learning process consists of having continuous feedback from the seniors and working professionals (the Senior Team Leads) and weekly meetings to help me with my technical or career difficulties, which I think has given me much deeper understanding in the topics than other learning methods and motivation to continue my learning.

My course was highly effective in terms of how much I was able to learn in a short period of time. Each time the theoretical knowledge gained through studying the material was transferred to practical application in projects. Those then were corrected by either a peer or senior team lead from the industry which gave me an insight on what could be improved and how I could widen my horizons in becoming a better code writer and a critical thinker. I recommend this course to anybody how is consistent, motivated and positively reacts to challenges. 

I really enjoy my experience at Turing College. The material is well-selected for self-paced learning. Additionally, weekly stand-ups, daily open sessions, and the community channel help me keep up with the pace. I not only gain valuable technical skills but also meet field experts and other motivated learners, so I essentially build my network at the same time.

How can a lawyer become a decision scientist? Oh yeah, it's possible... but only after learning and finishing Turing College. Turing College from the first interview and homework assignment, was a totally different learning experience, with lots of personal attention and a very inspiring attitude to every person. There I got some great suggestions and encouragement, how to find out, if this learning path is suitable for me, and even some personal feedback from alumnus (that was arranged by Turing's staff). And after starting my learning, I can honestly say, that it was and is my best learning experience so far. The whole Data Science course was not easy, but very interesting, deep, exciting, and actually from "zero to hero". At Turing College learners get the whole package of informative learning material, that is available 24/7. Best projects from real work/life situations to do. Also, there's no other place, where you can get project reviews and feedback (one on one) from the best Data field professionals, working in the largest and best Tech companies. One more thing, the whole learning is based on real work background, with stand-ups, learners' code reviews, and the whole package of services in the endorsement process leading to landing the job of your dreams. I have always wanted someone to believe in me. And not only Turing college has provided the experts, they have also provided a community of co-learners and even experts who show their belief in me. The team of Monica, Fet, Thomas, Alga, Gidrius and many many more ... fabulous people. It is probably impossible to take admission and not become a valuable expert in your field. The feeling is like that of being in a family that helps you learn, guide you and provides feedback. This goes much beyond the course material (which is already very very good). Meanwhile, I am also doing another course side-by-side which also involves Data Science. And Turing is many times better than them, there is no comparison really. For example, I remember in other school they said, getting accuracy scores above 85 percent is impossible etc. At Turing, you become an expert. An expert to the extend that you can easily tell what is possible and how it is possible. I guided the Data Scientist teaching the other school for how it is possible with good feature engineering and made him understand that if one knows the model underneath, one can customize hyper-parameters according to dataset. I have not yet graduated, but I was able to guide a working data Scientist and could understand that Turning College has laid down a great foundational understanding which lacks across the fast-paced and growing DS industry.

My experience while studying at Turing College was great and I could definitely recommend it to others who seek career in Data Science world. Here I found like-minded people who inspired and motivated to keep pushing forward. Turing college have quite flexible study system and it encourage students to make personal projects. I used this opportunity and got important feedback which boosted my knowledge on topics that I wanted to know better.

Turing College gives a one-of-a-kind hands-on experience. I enjoyed Turing College What I love the most about my experience was having access to people better skilled than I was for questions and mentoring. I loved the fact that it is a community of learners, so you do not easily get discouraged as most likely happens when studying alone. I also loved the soft skills work shops. It brought in so much light to my personality, and I saw room for improvement in various areas. I loved that they also gave tools for self improvement. My interaction with the staff was always nice, and they were super friendly. The Con would be if you like traditional-style of learning, like in universities, you may not like Turing College. Also, you have to learn everything, so you can't be mistakenly lazy.

I will definitely do it again in a heartbeat. It is worth the time and effort. The courses are tailored to meet real-life data science demands in the industries. Turing College allows you to learn at your own pace and includes hand-on exercises that are being corrected by current industry experts.You are also not alone in finding a job. The TC team also helps you build soft skills that make one employable. The daily stand-ups are designed in such a way that it adapts to the scrum framework and prepares you on how meetings are done in the tech world.

As for the complete beginner, Turing College helped me find my path. They helped me at all stages of my studies. In addition to strong material and top-notch senior team leaders, Turing College helped me create new connections, introduced me to different people with different work experiences. I like that they are constantly developing and paying attention to the needs and suggestions of students.  At Turing College, I don't feel like there's any hierarchy, and I think that's one of the most incredible things.

I have decided to shift my career from Web Development to Data Science.
