It is a rigorous program and a lot of data science newbies like myself will struggle at some point, but if you can just hang in there, it will be worth the learning experience in the end. Thankfully, there are several resources to lean on for help - your team, TAs and entire class.  So, don't even think about it, apply now!

I'm so happy that I was able to take part in this program. Overall, the instructors were very knowledgeable and professional. The subject matter was relevant and easily digestible, and the TAs were always willing to help you in your understanding of complex concepts.I was hoping that the conclusion of this program would lead to job opportunities in operations analyst roles, but I was fortunate to land an interview at a big tech firm during the program. I've now been at the company for 3 months and my manager said that "[my] participation in this program directly contributed to [his] decision to hire me." I would absolutely recommend this program, the instructors, and the TAs for anyone looking to enter into this field. Happy learning!

It was an amazing experience. When I join CO I wasn't confident enough with my python skills. Now I can say it is my favorite data cleaning methodology. Their intensive program is challenging but worth it. Not only will you become a data expert, but also you will have exposure to working with amazing and smart people. The opportunities this program offers are endless. By the end of it, you will be a different person. 100% recommended.

The DS4A program was fantastic overall, the exposure to industry Data Scientists and academics was greatly rewarding. Having come into the program lacking confidence, the program helped to teach me that often we are far more capable than we know. Working alongside other graduates, data professionals and those trying to change careers allowed for the transfer of skills and opportunity to form professional relationships. Im going to give a quick breakdown of positives and negatives:Positive:

Negative/can be improved:
The course focussed significantly on Data Analytics not allowing for enough time spent on Data Science topics
The classes did not completely align with project work, we were sometimes taught topics after we were expected to submit project tasks which required that knowledge
More structure for mentors to allow for more useful meetings.

DS4A Empowerment was a most amazing experience for me. With a great team of lecturers and TAs, the program was people-oriented, great fun and well organised. Employment opportunities for full-time and internship positions with the sponsor organizations also make the program very attractive.

This program was the best way to explore a field that I had been curious about. I had telling myself for years that I wanted to learn to code and had started by teaching myself but this program kick started my data science education into gear. The professor is quite possibly one of the best educators I've ever had. I'm convinced he could teach data science to a baby. The way he explains difficult concepts is in a way that anyone can understand. The DS4A staff are all open to questions and want to help you understand the material as well as complete your project strong. Data science has helped me think critically about how analyses are done and how data can be manipulated. It has made me a more analytical person with the tools that make me stand out amongst other people in my field. I'm very excited to use my new skills in my work now and into the future. Needless to say, I'm also pumped to learn more. 

I had decided to make a transition to IT and was pursuing a master's in Information Technology. However, I was more interested in my data science classes, and I was looking for something to give me much more depth than what I was getting from the university. The ds4a empowerment program was just what I needed, I had a great experience.

Data Science for All is the perfect program for people trying to learn data science, improve their data science skills, or get into a new field like myself. The program understands the rapidly changing state of technology and instead of using antiquated lessons, they incorporate real-world data and usage into the program so students get a real-life taste of what being a data scientist is like. The teachers are all stellar, helpful, informative, and amicable, Natesh himself is like no other professor you've had before. DS4A gives students the opportunity to work with other gifted and like-minded people, my team was personally one of the best I've ever worked with. The program provides career fairs and job listings as well as mentors to help both the classwork and projects as well as to give advice on how to get a job and learn in the real world. The only difficulty was that the material could prove to be challenging for a novice like myself, so it definitely requires your full attention and effort. Overall however I cannot recommend DS4A enough, especially for those trying to break into a more lucrative field.  

Correlation One's data analytics course has impressed me so much by its delivery of instruction, relevance to industry, and the diversity of students in the class. It's been a much better learning experience for me than the bootcamp and the traditional education that I paid $$$ for and it's FREE. I never thought something FREE can be just so good until I took the course at Correlation One. They put so much attention and care into everything.

This program is top notch! Taught by world class professors and professionals, the course covers key data science concepts while affording the opportunity to explore advanced concepts as well. As a recent fellow of this program, I was impressed most of all by the decimation of the staff and TAs in ensuring that we got the support we needed. Our mentors - from top companies and institutions - generously offered their time to offer guidance for our capstone project and career advise. All in all by the end of the program, I felt empowered to venture deeper into the data field, and confident to contribute my skills in a professional setting.

If you are considering data analytics or data science as a possible career choice but don't know where to start to build or continue developing a skillset necessary for that career, Correlation One's Data Science For All programs are for you. In addition to providing participants with the real world cases to apply data analysis and science skills to, the program provides something just as valuable, a supportive and encouraging community of like minded individuals. Its hard to say which component of DS4A is so impactful, because all areas of the program were huge for me. If you are looking for a program to teach you skills, develop community, real world experience, and provides mentorship and career exploration tools, DS4All does just that. It is challenging, but challenging in such a way that you know that you are learning skills that are necessary. I can't promise that this program is easy, but it is definitely worth it!

Excellent course for introducing Data Science concepts to beginners

I'd like to begin by saying that first and foremost, the staff is dedicated to the cohort; this is extremely important because without this type of dedication, perhaps a program like this would not survive. Second, the program is absolutely free, which is mind blowing, albeit it does require an entrance exam, and is also diversity based, which is understandable for the nature of this program.It is a course meant for non-technical students, so from an engineer's perspective it was not as theoretically challenging as I would have hoped, however, it is not to say I was not challeneged. They teach you a lot of the basics of Python, some statistical concepts, and many other python libraries like numpy, pandas, matplotlib, etc. that are invaluable to a data scientist; the course primarily focuses on understanding your data, analyzing your data, and understanding certain issues that exist within data that create issues when deep diving into a dataset. Quite a few of these things were challenging for me in their own respective way, and I've been able to get a realistic view into the life of a data scientist.With that being said, the format of the class is case study based, with a few take home assignments that span a week or two to complete; there is also a final project that is done as a group (4-6 students), where the groups are selected based on a few factors including area of interests, and skillset - my group had a PM, I was the programmer, a junior engineer, and an analyst. We were very successful - as were the other groups - and all our projects were quite incredible. All in all, you have to put in the work... with almost everything in life it is a 'what you give is what you get', so you should fill in all the gaps and not blame the course because it gives you more than you could ask for.We also received links to jobs, a virtual career fair, a mentor from industry (our mentor was the director of data science at Wayfair!) - just a whole bundle of perks that is too good too be true.Lastly, our class was just awesome, my fellow colleagues were all bright, positive, intelligent people whom of which I was thoroughly impressed with, and just impressed with how much input everyone gave. For the first time in a long time (if not the first) I was in an academic environment where everyone was happy to be there and actually wanted to pitch in, and participate and get the most out of this program. The teachers too - all super qualified, extremely bright people - the staff ...I mean I could go on and on... go check it out...

As a current data science grad, I can attest to the strength of the program’s quality in teaching you how to think and apply the skills required to be an effective data analyst. I was also impressed by the guidance and support of everyone involved in the program. I am very grateful for all the opportunities provided through this program and strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in or already in a data-related role. 

I was skeptical at first but I became a believer over the course of the class. There were dedicated high-quality instruction, assignments, and teachers/TAs. I recommend this class without reservations. All are welcome, all are challenged to be better and I am a better Data Scientist as a result of taking this class but multiple job opportunities.

Program overall was great! The individuals here are what is the most motivating because it’s people that have struggled in getting into this field and we all had this collective of wanting to improve ourselves as well as others.The curriculum is great and intense and the instructors keep you engaged and make learning all of these things really interesting and fun.You will struggle from the exercises but they will make you better in using the necessary tools to make you a great analyst and data scientist. Our voices during hard times were heard and I think that is another thing that makes this program better than most because the directors strive to make this program better They have some great speakers that really inspired all of us as well !

Overall, this was a wonderful course to take! I came in with no experience in data or coding and learned so many new skills. It is definitely tough and requires a lot of time, especially if all of the concepts are new to you, but it is worth the time and energy. The Professors, TAs, staff, and mentors are incredibly helpful and walk you through each step when it comes to new concepts and the group project. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. 

 Correlation One's Data Science for All Empowerment course is intensive, both in terms of time and effort required. By the time the course and group projects were in full swing, I easily spent 15 hours/week on the work and in meetings with course colleagues. The cohort exhibited a wide variety of data science experience and the course instructors, TAs, and fellow learners were incredible resources, especially for the participants who are new to data science and Python language. They are also an extremely funny and good-natured group. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is driven and ready to put the time and effort into the experience.
