Data Science for All / Colombia

The experience I had with DS4A and correlation one was unbelievable, it changed the way I think about what teaching is like, I love teaching and Natesh gave me beautiful ideas to share with my students, it also gave me a boost in my developer career giving me different tools, guidance and practice to achieve incredible projects.I am completely happy to be a part of DS4A and I hope that everyone can have the experience of learning and sharing with that wonderful team.

Natesh is an excellent teacher. He is always there for students to answer questions. He is very intereste  in people to understand concepts and how to apply them. This course is very recommended mostly for people of mid-level in data science.

 Great course. The best instructors, practical exercises with real life cases. Personally, I acquired very good skills that helped me get a good job. 

When I applied to the program of DS4A at Colombia I was a little bit skeptic about the impact of the program. Nevertheless I had the pleasure to be connected with Rasheed one of the founders of this program and he tolde me " you will make the most of this life-changing experience". He did not lieI will try to summarize the program:It took 12 weeks when you have to push yourself  7 weeks in solving analytical problems and programming skills driven in data science real business cases via jupyter notebook platform. In order to achieve that the program demands from you two things: 1. passion 2. be committed all Saturdays to attend the classes given by Natesh (the main teacher) or by other staff of correlation oneIf you are able to achieve this two things, indeed you will get the most learning experience in a remote program that I've seen by far compared other bootcamps.All the classes are so good and so interactive that not only you will learn to think as a data scientist and to be more proactive to apply your knowledge in your workplace but also to develop things in the public sector.I suggest that if you are interested look directly from their web site the curriculum and believe me that the curriculum is 100% accurately in the content. You may feel that 12 weeks is short for the program and maybe it is but the way the staff guide you along the program is good to you have a solid knowledge of the content (not basic, not expert) As for Job assistance I rate 3 stars but not for the quality. As compared to other programs that claim to offer job assistance but is a fake promise. Correlation one do not ensure job assistance, but it has a solid process to create a networking between you and your peers and they offer in some occasion career fairs for the alumnis Overall the program is amazing the staff is expert (MIT, Harvard, Princeton), the curriculum is updated, their guidance over the entire process is great, the community created is professional and really proficient. It is hard? Yes it is, if you are working but I assure you that the reward is far more than satisfying because you will learn how to work as a real Data Scientist for your company. PS: If you are looking for learning more about deep ML topics I suggest you to look other program. Correlation one program covers some aspects of ML but its focus is Data Science and It is well fundamented why their priority is DS

Excellent course. Everything was a great experience. This is a awesome opportunity to learn about data science. 

It was a great privilege to be part of this learning experience. The teaching team was very well prepared and always willing to help. Natesh is a very wise professor and makes lessons fun and exciting while transferring great knowledge and important concepts. The cases used during the course are applied to the daily life and are well suited for the learning objective. Unbeatable experience, I truly recommend it!

Great Course!  this13-week immersive data science program, equips candidates with practical skills in Machine Learning and AI. Our training was an hyper-practical, based on business cases and real world commercial contexts, learning how to work faster and smarter, connect models to commercial applications, an execute a full-life-cycle data science work in applied contexts and to navigate through its vast field in an business setting. 

Great course, very challenging and fast paced but totally worth the effort. Really good teachers. The TAs provide excellent suport along the program. The topics are taugth by practical real-life study cases not by theory.  Plenty of topics are covered with appropriate detail so you can obtain very valuable skills.  

This course really has everything that you need: practical exercises, the best instructors (Natesh is a Harvard Professor), improve your curriculum and you can find jobs in a great community.

This course gave me the basis to analyze data in various domains using many techniques and algorithms. Although the topics were very complex, teachers made them easy to understand through practical examples taken from actual projects they have achieved in the past. I think the methodology helped me understand various data analytics concepts and motivated me to continue learning and researching this topic. 

 This course explains various topics in a very practical way and allows one to think about the solution of real problems of the industries. The high quality of the teachers and the methodology used to teach is very useful for learning. I appreciate the support of all the instructors in the development of the project, this allowed to maintain motivation. I fully recommend this course for anyone who is interested in putting knowledge into practice in the application of real problems. 

This course is an excellent introduction to the data science world. It is important to know python intermediate level if you want to enjoy and learn more about the course. However, you could begin with basic knowledge. On the other hand, the methodology is interesting for an online course. A combination of lectures with teamwork and boot camps is powerful to learn all the topics in the program. Finally, the time to do the final project with real-world problems is crucial to learn

The course covers a lot of topics from beginner to upper-intermediate in the topics of Data Science, the group projects are so insightfull and I learn a lot, also teach how to deploy the models and applications of out projects. Amazing classes, teachers and classmates.

This is a very good course to learn, improve and challenge your data science skills. It is a very good opportunity to learn from world class data scientists.

It was an excellent data science course, I learned too many machine learning techniques and the best thing was the experience with their mentors, great professors from different prestigious universities make it more enriching. Definitely DS4A the best!
