Data Science for All / Colombia

DS4A was a unique experience. The quality of the teachers, the course desing, the topics, the materials and the methodology; were incredible. We learned a lot from this experience; especially to investigate in depth any problem related to data, to find in the hidden the true value of this data. 

The DS4A course was a great opportunity to start my process of seeing the world as a data scientist, the teachers are very clear in the contents, the workshops and the practice are fundamental to consolidate the knowledge that is acquired.

Great course! Totally recommended!  I learned a lot about data science, helpful skills for my current job.  There were many useful practical study cases that helped understanding concepts.

I had the opportunity to be part of the first version of DS4A Colombia and exceeded all my expectations, the methodology, practices, assignments, teachers an T.A, all was well designed and executed. 

This is an amazing program which combines skills from Databases, Programming, Machine Learning and Statistics to resolve real world issues during your formation as Data Scientist.The resources available are great and there is always someone available in case you have issues.

When I started Correlation One's DS4A Colombia, I was transitioning from a career in Industrial Maintenance, nowadays I have a job as Data Analyst for a Multinational which helps companies in their digital transformation, and a huge part of it was thanks to DS4A. It teaches you the skills on which you build on in order to become attractive in the Data Analytics market, additionally, during the course, you get high quality materials and lectures that make learning not only fruitful, but also enjoyable, which is a great plus. You also face a challenge which is common in the Data Science field such as working in a Project for a company, which basically renders you fit to face the pressure and challenges of the market!DS4A is a literally a life changing experience! I successfully transitioned my career thanks to it and now I reap the benefits from it!

 A course with all the necessary knowledge to learn about data science. The course was very productive and participatory with the teachers and classmates in the development of the classwork and the final work. An excellent experience that combines theory and practice to solve real problems. There was excellent support from the assistants to achieve a better understanding of the concepts seen in class and how to approach the work. A great academic and professional experience! 

I'm working a lot of time in Data warehouse design and building but I was really new to the full Data Science world. It was an amazing experience: great teachers, excellent methodology, a lot of really smart classmates each one having an special knowledge. A really high education level and people quality (teachers, staff and classmates). I learned a lot in the course not only from teachers but also from classmates.  We built a complete solution, end to end, so we are in conditions to create and deploy in production environments.Thanks a lot. I would like continue learning with Correlation One.

Very good overall Data Science Course focused on giving the general panorama and explaining basic and intermediate topics related to Data Science practices. Professor Natesh was great at explaining concepts online, and it was quite an interesting methodology given the fact that the course was made 100% online.

It was a great experience, from all points of view. Academic, logistical, methodological. I want to highlight three aspects of the DS4A:1. Having the capacity to see data science as an opportunity to address the challenges that LATAM countries facing.2. Implementing training strategies focused on real projects/challenges, that integrate areas, instead of separating them into subjects3. The relevance of Teamwork, both at the level of planning the training process as well as teamwork at the level of the learning process, in solving challenges.I'm very grateful to MINTIC (Colombia). Thanks also to the dear professor Natesh, for his people's skill and inspiring lectures, to Eric Dausso for the impeccable management of the process, and with the TAs, for their support.

This course was an amazing experience with very high standards, beginning with Professor Natesh that is a wonderful teacher and very inspiring with a great way to communicate deep concepts in an easy manner, the course was a structure in a very proficient style, the use case model it is an excellent combination between the theoretical and practical application of the data science At a personal level, this course help me to make a very deep refresh of my professional background because Data Science has evolved to a massive pace that always is vital to keep updated and advancing in this field 

My experience with Correlation One's DS4A was a wonderful one, and it motivated me to improve my data skills. First of all, the instructor: Natesh is an outstanding teacher, leading us to understand the fundamentals of Data Science and communicate insights in layman's terms. Second, the TA's: they were helpful and demanding at the same time, pushing us to deliver good data products. Third, the curriculum: it was meticulously planned and executed, although I wished it were a bit more difficult and challenging, but it's my personal opinion, nevertheless. May I add that this is a course that I would recommend for anyone ranging between a beginner and a full data scientist, being junior data scientists the best fit for it. 

 This was an awesome experience, I would highly recommend to apply to this program, especially for people from Colombia, this is the perfect opportunity for Data enthusiasts to learn more about the Data world. I am very grateful with the Teacher Assistants and the whole Correlation One Staff, but specially Professor Natesh. After this experience, I have improved my technical and communication skills for Data projects. 

This was a wonderful 12-week course in which I improved my programming and teaching skills. Correlation one has developed a great course that is directed by Professor Natesh Pillai while supported by the T.A. team. The case study method allowed us to learn about data science, programming, AI, statistics, business, and maths in real-world industries. Our team was able to develop a health application for a real medical problem in a Colombian hospital. After my experience in DS4A Colombia, my career has improved and I have used the developed skills in different projects. I think it is a great opportunity for Colombian and LatAm people to learn from a wonderful team of experts.

It was a 12-week experience where we went through the world of data science, with the help of the Correlation One team and especially Professor Natesh Pillai, where we learned about how to address the problems that happen today, what tools to use and make analysis that are valuable for different business units in various industries. We interacted in groups, where we addressed a proposed problem and presented the solution according to what we learned and the experience of each member of the group. For Colombia, these programs help to strengthen this field and complement little known professions such as Statistics in the country and its importance to society.

Data science for all was a brief but rich experience to get up to speed on data science. The course goes through the most relevant and practical aspects of data science, I recommend it for new and experienced data scientists or if you want to become one.Correlation one is a very well organized and profesional academy that is setting the standard of online/presencial learning on technology topics related to data science.With the support of its great learning platform and content as well as its teaching assistants, the main teacher, Natesh Pillai, leads a journey of lots of learning and practice. All the techniques and topics are supported with theory on probability and statistics, Natesh is an amazing statistician and professor from Harvard and its one of the main strengths of the course, without him the whole journey would not be as amazing as it is.Expect to do a great deal of fun and enriching homework and yet be supported with either the teaching assistants or Natesh, the lectures are very cool and all of them have practical applications on real work environments.Also at the final steps of the course you need to do a final project that measures and challenges your learning of the course with a real problem from real companies and real data, and also with a team you get to share and learn from each other’s knowledge.If you finish the course you get a professional looking diploma that you can share on your LinkedIn profile, but it’s not only that: your life can change, most people get new jobs or get promotions, in my case I am a seasonal teaching assistant for the upcoming programs!!!Expect to enrich or build your knowledge on data science with well founded fundaments of statistics, and also you will get to share with people that are working on the field!!! You will be in contact with new people, you will have the satisfaction of finishing a high demanding course and learning from the best with the best people.I absolutely recommend this course and the whole data science for all program with the sponsorship of the Colombian government and Mintic, it’s great to see our government investing on such a high quality programs like this one.

The environment in which the classes were taught was optimal, especially considering we were under a pandemic. It was pretty cool to have the opportunity to learn from  tenured professor and from different professionals from their respective fields. The whole course was challenging but TA's had your back in case of need. Overall a satisfying experience with a lot of learning and excellent material. It was life changing to a degree I feel comfortable now when talking about Data Science and Machine Learning. The course can be a great introduction to this amazing area and gives you the basic knowledge so you can then learn on your own and specialize in the fields of your liking. I would recommend it.

This is one amazing experience, it is highly recommended for people that want to learn how to be an excellent Data Science (AWS, Data Mining, Data Modeling and some about Development), the course combines theory with practice explained by most incredible teachers with high experience in their fields.  

Very good course, the cases are based in real scenarios with real data are very usefull to learn and apply the concepts. Amazing teachers with great knwowledge and great methodology. The final project was very usefull to aply all the concepts learned.
