Data Science for All / Colombia

Para mí fue una experiencia muy importante dado que estoy en el proceso de aprender ciencia de datos, soy médico de profesión y encuentro muy útil adquirir el conocimiento necesario que me permita manipular información y sacarle el mayor provecho. Con el curso que pude completar con Correlation One and MinTic pude dar mi primero pininos en este vasto y maravilloso mundo de los datos. El curso estuvo muy bien estructurado, los orientadores muy atentos con nuestra formación, el tiempo, aunque corto fue muy bien trabajado. 

It is difficult to find an institution that offers an excellent level and Correlation ONE has it. I have felt very comfortable and I have learned a lot. At the level of the teachers and the teaching methodologies very consistent, despite referring to technical issues it was very easy to understand.

Es importante para mi resaltar, lo aprendido y a la vez agradecido por impartir estos cursos que logran cambiar la mente y la forma de mejorar, en lo que respecta a la ciencia de datos. Un programa muy completo y didáctico, me siento orgulloso de haber culminado este curso y espero que con los conocimiento adquiridos pueda acceder a nuevas oportunidades laborales, mi agradecimiento a toto el equipo.

Soy una persona que tiene como hobby aprender, por lo que he tomado una cantidad considerable de cursos online, incluyendo anteriores proporcionados por MinTIC; por lo que mi expectativa un poco baja, ya que los instructores parecieran no estar y el trabajo independiente era de practicamente todo el curso; pero con Correlation One esperaba algo más. Esa fue mi expectativa antes de iniciar clase.Cada que avanzabamos en clase, sorprendía a mi expectativa; luego se añadieron los talleres de repaso que le dieron un tono asertivo al asunto y me motivaron a aumentar aún más mi curiosidad. En todo un ascenso entre ambos ejes (X y Y), llegó el proyecto; sin duda la gran cereza en el pastel.Tal como se dijo, la experiencia les permite mostrar un servicio impecable que constantemente mejora para ofrecer cada vez una mejor calidad. Eso, realmente. pocas ofrecen.

Estoy muy feliz de haberme graduado con Honores de DS4A / Colombia - Fundamentos En Analítica De Datos, considero que me abrieron las puertas a un mundo magnifico sobre contar historias a través de los datos, considero que todas las personas que puedan tomar el curso y terminarlo, lo hagan con la misma pasión y entusiasmo con la que se inscribieron ya que es una oportunidad para los empleos actuales y del futuro que no se puede desaprovechar, de nuevo mil y mil gracias Correlation One por la oportunidad y esto solo es el principio actualmente gracias a esa semilla que generaron en mí, me sigo capacitando en temas técnicos con Python (Pandas), SQL (postgresql) y herramientas de visualización  (Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI).

Excelente! Estoy feliz con lo aprendido y muy agradecida con el equipo de Correlation One y de MinTic por la excelente labor y por darme la oportunidad de certificarme en mis primeros pasos en mi carrera en ciencias de datos.

Los profesores son muy buenos, el acompañamiento por su parte es excelente. Lo unico es que hay temas que me gustaria tratar mas a profundidad, como google data studio, pero nada que no se pueda solucionar en el futuro. 

Desde mi experiencia este curso fue muy enriquecedor en varios ámbitos ya que obviamente en la temática fue muy completo (aunque muy corto), fue muy didáctico y esto hizo que le llegara a más personas que no conocían nada del tema de programación y me pareció muy incluyente esto positivamente hablando; personalmente no soy una persona que le guste trabajar en equipo, pero al ser requisito obligatorio, me puse en otra forma de trabajo y me pareció más productiva y diferente. El curso estuvo muy completo para tener una temática inicial. 

Realizar el curso de fundamentos analítica de datos fue una experiencia verdaderametne fantastica, me permitió compreder los conceptos básicos para  el manejo de los datos, las técnicas y estratégias para el análisis de grandes volumes de datos, extraerlos y simplificarlos  de tal forma que me permitiera tener información valiosa, a fin de satisfacer una respuesta ante una oportunidad de información que permita dar aporte a un contexto de oportunidad de mejora o de conocimiento. Las herramientas y plataformas empleadas fueron determinantes para hacer de este curso una experiencia de aprendizaje significativa y de gran valor para mi crecimiento personal y profesional que me han permitido ampliar mis conocimientos y expectativas frente al interesante mundo de los datos y su aplicación.

It was a very enriching experience, the instructors always prepared the classes very well, It helped me a lot to fund the area where I really want to grow professionally  and change to a job that makes me very happy

Learning all the basics and advanced topics make this course the most complete in the market. An excellent opportunity to leave the bootcamp prepared for the working world. High level professors and assistants that provide complete support.

This course was amazing and very useful, starting with the content because it explains the necessary tools and skills, such as visualization, storytelling with data, the structure and guidance that must be had starting with understanding the data, the exploratory analysis of the data to then be able to propose the moderation and the data that we will need to develop it. The quality of the instructors is very good, they were telling us how to start with the analysis and how to move on to the development of the analytical models, also how to adjust the model according to the initial results. I think that having live exercises is a great advantage.

It was an excellent course, filled with excellent students, teachers, TAs and vibes that really helped me to diggest concepts that could have been harder to grasp in other enviroments.I liked the way everyhing happend, from the hours of study to the teammates and the final project we did in the course.

DS4A helps me to decide what i want to do with my life, and get me more involved in data science world, an excelent course with excelent teachers, i get so much knowledges that certainly will help in my close and long term professional future.

Data Sciense For All Colombia is an intensive 13-week training program covering topics such as data cleaning and visualization with Python, statistical testing, OSL regression, logistics, decision trees, Random Forest, Naive Bayes and KNN. Each session is led by an expert from top universities. The TAs are willing to help you with your questions and support you in the final project. The content is truly amazing and rigorous. DS4A is one of the best options to get into machine learning models.The only downside is that there are so many topics to learn in such a short time, so perhaps a longer duration of the program could be very beneficial. Overall, I think everyone who takes the program agrees that DS4A is one of the best options to learn, it is inclusive (sponsored by the Colombian government). The people behind this initiative are really good human beings. 

DS4A - Colombia was a real complete program,  I was a student with very low programing skills, the program was design for encourage collaboration, empathy and teamwork and that environment let me learn faster. This program isn't just technical, it have very interessat sessions with experts that talk about their life experiences and it would motivate to continue learning . The Teacher Assistants were  very supporting, diligent and capables. The Instructors were high qualified and with the best energy ever, empathetic and very skillful persons.I start very scared, I was so inexpert but all the colaborators motivate me to finish the program, now I'm Teacher assistant for the program and that make me feel so proud, and allows me to motivate more people to continue learning. The program offered a job application process where many fellows applied for great job opportunities, and that is a new motivation to change the job carrer.

I consider that this bootcamp has changed my life in an incredibly positive way. First, it allowed me to train as a data scientist where I acquired important knowledge from data processing to the production of deep learning models. I feel that working synchronously allows you to meet people who are under a different context but with the same purpose which allows you to gain contacts and make a network of knowledge, work and friendship. Finally, the development of a final project with a third party company allows you to have a real approach with the industry, making visible the challenges that the market has, besides engineering solutions that are scalable and productive.
