In short: - Would you like to be ignored for WEEKS with emails sent to their support team? - Would you like to learn by reading poorly written PDFs with vague content? - Would you like to be guided by other inexperienced "mentors" which are just theirrecent BootCamp graduates? - Would you like to have a 1hr lecture with the instructor being disconnected for 30mins? - Would you want more than 60% of your course material marked as OPTIONAL and be told you are job ready while you only have learned the basic "Hello World" and writing a simple for-loop? AND THIS IS DEFINITELY THE RIGHT COURSE FOR YOU!!! To find out more, just read other comments here and you will understand the TRUE NATURE of HyperionDev (And for all those 5* reviews, yes they are all real, they are all written by their real students, they did not receive any incentives to leave those positive comments, as you can see they are definitely not vaguely written, and you should really take them seriously :P)

All good reviews are FAKE or paid. Do proper research before signing up to this scamy bootcamp. You will waste a lot of money like I did, which I am deeply regretting now. If you want to see real reviews then just search them on reddit and you will really get the gist of it.It seems like they have payed people to write good reviews about them and that they block, silence or threaten anyone who writes negative reviews about them. God forbid anyone says anything bad about them or exposes the truth about them.. There is even talk of the CEO (who is way to involved), harassing female students and workers. This company is terrible, from top to bottom. There is a massive lack of staff it seems so response rate is very slow and support seems non-existent when it is urgent. I have waited up to three weeks (from TEVIN specifically) to get responses from the student support department, to the point where I had to tag the staff on a Discord group chat to get their attention. The course content somehow seems incomplete as most tasks (especially the capstone projects) do not relate to what has been learned in the 'pdfs'. Also shocking that it is a supposed tech company but they don't even have a proper student dashboard where one can obtain the course material. They basically give you a Dropbox link where you can obtain the course content. You can teach yourself more from the internet than what you will learn in their 'pdf' course work. They boast that you will be career ready after taking their bootcamps and almost promise that you will get a job after completing it but most of the student job success is because they hire past students to be teachers and mentors for the next year.

I have had a good experience studying data science with HyperionDev. I chose the 6 month part time online option as it made the most sense while working full time. It has been great choice as I had full flexibility in when I could complete the studies and tasks. The first two levels are quite straightforward as the course material is very thorough in teaching you the basics. Mentors mark tasks quickly and give individualized feedback which is greatly appreciated. The third level - Machine Learning, is quite a bit tougher as the tasks are a little more taxing. However, as a student, you can book a call with a mentor to go over the difficulties you are facing within the tasks. Their assistance is invaluable in helping you to understand the content. HyperionDev was also very accommodating to me when I was unable to complete all the tasks within 6 months due to the birth of my son - they provided course extensions without me having to pay extra for the extension.

The course is very informative and helpful in understanding data and its processes. I just struggled to get a mentor after working hours meaning I had to rely on the notes but when I did I was helped.

I enrolled in the three-month data science course. If you consider doing it, do yourself a favour and not waste your time. The whole curriculum is a nightmare. After a reasonably relaxed introduction to Python, you will be overwhelmed by the data science tasks. The lecturers barely have tangential knowledge about data science. Therefore, you will spend most of your time on Youtube. The learning material is brilliant for Python and useless for data science. You will always be asked if you have questions. However, when you ask a question, the lecturer will excuse himself that this is not his field of expertise. Numpy, one of the most important libraries used in Python for data science, is technically ignored. My advice is: look for a different course.

Hyperyon was a waste of money. The course is very poorly designed. Is it basically a pack with 90 pdfs full of typos. The learning journey is incomplete and missing some basic and important topics you will need on any job application. The differential is the claimed human reviews and support, which are made by students with no experience, and there was usually a 10-day waiting list to get a 30 min call with a mentor. Mentors are students that didn't necessarily finish the course yet, and have no expertise to be able to solve your problems. I had to sign up for Datacamp and Codecademy to learn the basics and be able to finish some tasks at the Bootcamp, as the explanation for their lessons and exercises don't match the content of the tests.Had to send complaints weekly to the support team, because the platform was constantly not working, mistakes are normal and communication is terrible. Most of my emails were never replied and nothing ever got done to fix it. I truly think anyone would be wasting their money doing this bootcamp. I did.

I had zero programming experience and in a few months HyperionDev helped me develop the right foundation for my Data Science journey. My first tasks included writing psuedo code and getting my code to print out various outputs. From googling 'what is object oriented programming?' in the early stages of the course to polynomial regression and classification models. The course content is extensive and progressively demanding. All the projects completed leave you with a sense of awe, 'I coded that!', and a need to dig deeper and learn more. Help is always given to those that seek it. Mentors mark your work in time to walk you through your mistakes in order to solidify the correct knowledge. They also give you additional references and tools to use to expand on skills & techniques that you excel in. Not once do you ever feel incompetent or 'this question is going to be stupid' as a beginner programmer during the Mentorship. The support offered by HyperionDev Course Consultants is punctual and helpful. An overall good experience. I cannot review ths Job Assistance metric as i am yet to complete my bootcamp. It is the best decision I have made.

This has been a journey of absorbing relatable information and skills. The HyperionDev Data Science Bootcamp has been a great learning platform for statistical knowledge, data exploration, AI and machine learning combined. I would recommend the Bootcamp to anyone who wants to get into the tech space and/or improve their career positioning. The team also deserves a mention, they’ve been very helpful with their individual brilliance. One person worth mentioning is Samantha Imeson she’s been available to assist whenever she could from the beginning, a very consistent team player. From me!!! HyperionDev gets a very strong rating of 4 out of 5. Well done guys

From the 1s week of my enrollment at hyperiondev the support is been so great with my mentor and also when you need help they are always there to help support is also there to help you whenever u have questions or anything u don't understand so hyperiondev is best. I really recommend it to anyone who is looking too learn how to code, and it is really good value for moneyThe tools this course provides is really equivalent to the stuff I learned at university I highly recommend it

I've so far enjoyed my time with HyperionDev doing the Data Science bootcamp. They have material that is easy to understand although challenging. Their mentor system is also good with knowledgeable mentors and a helpful student network

The HyperionDev Data Science Bootcamp is quite an intense and immersive Bootcamp. The curriculum covers a large array of areas related to Data Science, and the first level takes you through all the fundamental and intermediate usages of Python, which essentially builds up your coding skills in order to better understand the inner workings of the daily functions performed by a Data Scientist. Not only will you learn to use your Data Science skills, but you will also be able to easily interpret the complex code written by your future peers and colleagues, which is an added benefit that isn't always included in other Data Science Bootcamps. The curriculum questions for tasks and projects do leave quite a lot of space for interpretation, which allows a student to interpret and solve various problems in a personalized and creative manner. The support team, especially Tevin, are great and very responsive. My mentor Nizaam is especially knowledgable in the field and has a very unique and interactive manner to teach you how to solve data projects on your own by invoking thought and setting your mindset to that of a programmer. Unfortunately, I can not review the Job Assistance they offer, as that only comes into effect once you have completed the Bootcamp.

The HyperionDev course gives you real life experience solving for complex problems. It teaches you to research and gets you to really apply yourself. The mentor concept is great as you have support.

This was my first experience going through a bootcamp and my first time learning a programming language. I must say choosing Hyperion Dev was a good choice, as the way they the pace you through the material made an otherwise daunting experience quite easy to adapt to and understand, the mentors are also there to assist all the time, which also made the journey quite an enjoyable one, the dashboard that they provide you with also assists you in tracking your progress throughout the bootcamp. The way the bootcamp is structured even though it is quite intense and you need to invest time into your studies, made it a very manageable process, and when you fall behind they quickly step in to ensure that you can still manage, I would recommend these programmes to any one aspiring to make a switch into tech, the assistance with building your brand is also a great innovation as well, as I am starting to get offers on Linkedin as we speak.Thank you for the wonderful experience, looking forward to doing other courses through you.

The data science course involves intro to python, python for data science, data analytics & exploration and Machine learning & AI. Pros The course content is well delivered and was a welcome surprise. I had thought this was a lite introductory course but actually gives enough content to get you job ready which is a huge plus. I am using techniques learned in this course in my role already especially on the data analytic & exploration level. The transition from beginner to intermediate programmer is just seamless. I can now add, remove & explore libraries which were pretty intimidating. Course instructors are always available to help you and I loved how the feedback was continuous and specific. ConsI know this is a bootcamp and information cannot be presented like a normal degree course but I think a slight improvement on the curriculum is needed.Things get pretty daunting when it comes to level 3: Machine learning level. That is where the seamlessness pretty much ends and things get really tough. I felt there needs to be an intro to statistics course or “statistics for machine learning” before you get your hands dirty. While intro to programming and ‘python for data science’ eases you in to the workload which makes data exploration an interesting level, machine learning is a mind adjustment without any sort of pre-prep, so to speak.Neuro Networks are in essence the crux of what you need to learn in level 3 but I felt didn’t get the platform it deserves to get you stuck in and I wanted to know more and learn more. I came out of level 3 feeling like we can sacrifice some level 1 tasks to give Neuro Networks some more room. I also think students can benefit from a task or two on reading different library docs. These help A LOT in understanding libraries. Overall, this is an incredible course and beats the data analysis course from get-smarter through UCT by a long mile. If you want something that would take you off spreadsheets and catapult you to using programming to solve data science problems, this is definitely the course for you.

I have always had an eager interest in learning about coding so when I came across HyperionDev’s courses, I was really excited to explore it.
Hyperion allowed me to transform my dream to be able to learn and understand coding into a mind-blowing reality. The course offers an abundance of superior and high-quality practical coding skills, unlike many other conventional courses.
Additionally, the flexibility of the course is extremely convenient as it enables me to work at a time that is favorable and well-suited for me as I am employed full time.
Exploring and learning various skills through Hyperion has largely assisted me in my job, where I work as a technical Business Analyst. It empowered me to refine my knowledge and skills to be able to be more efficient and expand my expertise.
Although challenging at times, my mentor, Clarinda is always available through Discord or an email away to guide and assist me when required.

I am currently a student at HyperionDev in South Africa, and am more than half way through the bootcamp.
The bootcamp is challenging and meets all my expectations. It is really a good self study and you have to do a lot of research, which HyperionDev put you on the right path with Milestone Projects to complete it really is a must for everyone seeking to gain knowledge in the Data Science field.
I am 45 years old and there really is no age limit to furthering knowledge. This bootcamp has placed me on a clear path of my goals where I was not gaining much from random courses on youtube and Udemy, not that these are bad platforms to learn but they can be overwhelming with knowledge for a beginner.
I would recommend a bootcamp in the relevant field of study because it is rigorous and tests your knowledge and skills in a step by step format. The instructors are always available and assist where ever I am in need. I llok forward to an exciting switch in my career. With computers and programming knowledge there is no age limit.

Undoubtedly one of the better institutions I have had the privilege of studying through. What initially attracted me to Hyperion was they give one the opportunity to trial out the bootcamp before signing up and committing to payment, so you can get a feel for which bootcamp attracts you the most.
The modus operandi of Hyperion Development was phenomenal. The simplicity of navigating through the bootcamp was amazing, if anything Hyperion strives on making the bootcamp as comfortable, enjoyable and insightful as possible. They have an excellent mentorship team who are extremely supportive, patient, professional, possess a wealth of knowledge and brilliance and explain incredibly well for you to grasp the concepts.
The course content is well structured and very current, allowing one to stay abreast with the times. They provide you with enough examples and instructions throughout each level of the bootcamp (Level 1: Python for Data Science; Level 2: Data Analytics and Exploration; Level 3: Machine Learning).
Having never been exposed to coding or computer science on an academic level, I would say I was rather 'green' at first, but soon found my feet. The course eases you into it by teaching you from basics and first principles. The mentor team are readily available to guide you when you hit a hurdle and are always willing to assist where possible, by TEACHING you. Really an awesome team. It was a great bootcamp overall, a good mixture of challenges, 'ah-ha' moments, and fun.
As an option and once you are complete with the bootcamp you have the privilege of career support where they guide you into becoming marketable as well as finding you placement in companies looking for Data Scientists - how awesome is that!?!
Absolutely no regrets from choosing Hyperion! Hyperion is a great institution, with a well-constructed bootcamp, a great team and most of all a wealth of knowledge was shared and gained, this bootcamp has definitely laid the foundation for my future and equipped me with the skill set for industry 4.0 and IoT.

I believe that I meant to be a developer (after I picked up a keyboard in the street at the age of 7. find the full story here===>tony), but I never had a chance to study because of war, migration, work, etc... So I could only study online and only at night. After reading about Data Science and Python, I knew what I wanted... and you guessed it right, I wanted to become a Data Scientist.
I started My Data Science journey shortly after I read up about the industry on the dataquest's website I was closed by that article and was completely into the deal just my finance couldn't allow me to sing up that deal, so I decided to save up for it cause at that time they required that you pay the full amount to enroll in the Bootcamp(If I remember correctly). But there were some freebies free trial period :) so I enrolled for that And off I started. They have got also great content in their courses I must say.
One day while having some random Chat about life, a friend told me about hyperiondev, two things caught my attention, 1) 1 on 1 mentor support and 2) Monthly payment option. I couldn't think twice, I signed up right there.
Early this year March I started the Bootcamp, the course is divided into 3 modules; Python for Data Scientist, Data Analytics and Exploration and Machine Learning... respectively.
I obviously stumbled a bit at the beginning with stuff like why do we have to print "hello world" and settling in and feel like a developer, but My first module mentor was a human with aliens brain :) very helpful and we became friends and I have gotten close to many other students and mentors.
The part I enjoy the most throughout the Bootcamp was Student interaction So we have a Discord channel where all the Beautiful Happy Coder of Hyperiondev meet (includes mentors), there you'll never walk alone, the guys there don't sleep (I'm one of them) great vibe, positive people who are ready to help and enjoy together upbuilding discussions and relaxing with different taste of music with some heavy gamers in the house.
Now the part where I think Hyperiondev need to give a little bit of extra attention is Mentor Supervision because those guys work very hard and they can get easily overloaded with their work or student appointments and that can pretty much affect the student progress and create unnecessary frustration. But I trust that they are going to look closely on that one.
Student Support after Bootcamp, so they have an after Bootcamp support which is totally free of charge. In the process, I am being helped to adjust my portfolio, CV, Linkedin account and some other stuff to get me visible to the hiring company and sort of a way to welcome me in the industry. Afterward, they have a placement system whereby they introduce the graduate to the Hiring company and assist us with interview preparation and much more overwhelming after Bootcamp support.
But I am not going to work yet, just not yet! I want to compliment my skills with a Software Engineer Bootcamp. Guess where???? Well, you guessed it right again ===> right here===> software_engineering
Student 2019
Currently in progress to complete my bootcamp, but I must say until now it has been a very good experience for me. The way the bootcamp is structured works for me since it focusses on the completion of both minor and bigger (capstone tasks) instead of just throwing a big project at you with the hope that you will somehow figure it out. Since one's knowlege is build incrementally it helps one a lot once you have to complete a capstone project, since one now has the knowledge to know what to do and what is expected from them.
Furthermore, the mentor provided to me is/was (since I am still busy at the moment) great and always provided me with very good tips to improve. Review times were also fast and structured with good feedback to improve in any area.
I would recommend Hyperiondev should anybody want to increase/expand their knowledge in any IT related field since Hyperiondev takes the individual serious and wants them to succeed.
Graduate 2019
I could not rate this course highly enough. As someone with a Master's degree yet minimal coding experience, this bootcamp equipped me with the perfect tools to make a jump in my career towards data-driven management consulting. From Python to Tableau, this course covers the fundementals of what should be in the data scientist's toolbox. The support was fantastic, and the curriculum was challenging to say the least!
