As a software developer, I've found Co.lab to be a game-changer for team collaboration. Its intuitive interface seamlessly integrates with Git, facilitating real-time collaborative editing. With built-in communication tools and robust security features, Co.lab streamlines the development process, making it indispensable for any team looking to boost productivity and innovation.

I was a dev during the 8-week program and I had never worked with a product manager or designer before, but it was very interesting to see what they prioritized and to navigate communication with the whole team to refine and ultimately deliver on our product vision. Co.Lab managers gave week-by-week deadlines that gave time at the beginning for ideation and design, and started requesting coded prototypes by week 4. The product is very open-ended and I believe the pace and difficulty is ultimately decided by what product your team decides on.Pros: - Hands on experience walking through the process of creating and delivering a product- I learned a lot of terminology around products from the worlds of product management and design.- confidence that I can learn new tech and use them to make something impressiveCons: - Our mentor mostly only checked in with the product manager unless you reached out first.- not a lot of job support or career coaching if that's what you are mainly here for.- only 3 teams are chosen to present at the end of the 8 weeks, out of a cohort with ~15 teams.

My Co.Lab experience was nothing short of exceptional. It was my first time collaborating with people from different time zones, and it turned out to be the best experience of my life. Co.Lab provided me with a unique opportunity to work with diverse individuals, and I can confidently say that it's the best platform to kickstart your tech journey.

Working at Colab as a Software Development Engineer (SDE) has been an absolute game-changer for my career journey. This experience was one that I'll always remember because being someone with no prior work experience, I learned how a product is developed while playing along with a team and not according to your individual choices which I was used to before this. I enhanced my skills a lot more while working on the product and thanks to the bootcamp I really feel confident for my upcoming interviews.

It was an amazing experience working in a cross-functional team across different timezones. We came up with a product idea, conducted user research, created designs and developed a prototype within 8 weeks. It is an intensive bootcamp which will push you to expand your limits.

As a software developer, the co.lab bootcamp helped me gain real world experience of working and building products in a team. Getting work done and shipping an MVP boosted my confidence in my skills.

It was an amazing experience. Our team were able to ship a MVP of a product which enables us to get an exposure to work with cross functional team and this program is best for who are looking for experience in real world.

Co.lab does so much to set you up with real-life experience developing a product.  As a Front-end Developer, I learned so much from talking to my designer and fellow developers about project scope and how to talk about designs and all the decisions that go into it.  I came out with a real-world MVP product that I helped develop from the start.  Our project Mentor also gave us invaluable knowledge about how to navigate a project and how to further our goals outside of co.lab.

Co.Lab was a great. It gave me real world experience that I was looking for so that I could put it on a resume. Our team was all focused on the goal and we could create, design and build a great website. Our mentor had so much knowledge and I was able to gain a ton of great information from him. Highly recommend! 

I had an incredible experience during my program at Co.Lab. It was challenging, but it was also rewarding, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have worked with mentors from big tech companies like Microsoft.The mentors were knowledgeable, and experienced, and provided invaluable insights into the tech industry. They were always available to answer questions and offer guidance, and their real-world experience was particularly valuable in helping my team and me understand how to best apply our skills to build and ship a product.The curriculum was comprehensive and provided my team and me with the opportunity to build and ship a product, which was a valuable experience in itself. Through this, we learned more about teamwork, project management, and the importance of building something a solution for our users.

One thing I particularly appreciated about the program was its flexibility. I was able to balance my personal life with the demands of building and shipping a product, and the program was accommodating in this regard.

I recently completed the software development bootcamp and overall, I had a positive experience. The instructors were knowledgeable and supportive, and the curriculum was well-structured and covered a wide range of topics. The hands-on projects and group work helped me to solidify my understanding of the material and apply what I had learned. Additionally, the career services team provided valuable resources and support to help me find a job in the field. The only downside was that the program was intense and fast-paced, so it required a significant time commitment. Overall, I feel that the bootcamp adequately prepared me for a career in software development and I would recommend it to others interested in the field.

Co.Lab is the complete package if you want to get your hands dirty. You get to work on any product of your choice agreed upon by your team. As a software developer, I had the opportunity to work with a designer and a product manager. We had standup meetings as a team and with our mentor.Co.Lab makes the building process smooth as we were given weekly targets and various resources to guide us. This ensured everyone were on trackDuring the program we were encouraged to build in public. By sharing my progress and learnings, it increased my visibility among my network. 

The Co.lab bootcamp taught me that it's okay to be vulnerable, ask for help when you need to.It's not always about your technical ability, learning to communicate rightly is also very key especially when you are working with a cross-functional team.Setting achievable milestones is another thing I learnt during the bootcamp, it's a good way to track progress and know what is working and what is not.

I joined Co.lab with no previous experience with working on a project across teammates in a remote distributed team which varying time zones.This was a first and very educative one. I got to see another equally important aspect side of the software-building process that I did not know about after months of learning how to code on my own.This program helped me build my decision-making skills on what tools to use to accomplish the problem at hand.

I am so glad I jumped the chance to join Co.Lab. It's not just a place of learning and gaining real-world experiences. Co.Lab is truly a welcoming community, especially for newcomers to tech. Since day 1, I felt supported by all. They practice what they preach. My confidence grew and I felt I belonged. Working with an international cross-function team was challenging but rewarding.
