During my time at Le Wagon i was able to accomplish the goals i set for myself and by the bootcamp. The web development curriculum was difficult but we had amazing instructors and teachers assistant who helped whenever we felt lost or needed reassurance on a certain topic. By the end of the course i was surprised by how much i had learned and have retained, it was overall a great experience and I'm also very happy that I have made a few friends along the way

This course was incredibly fast paced and challenging. It's easy to feel overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge you have to learn, but that just makes it that much more satisfying when your final project all comes together. No matter how hard it is, there will always be teachers there willing to spend time with you and break things down so you can get the most out of this course.Le Wagon provides a rich learning environment to foster growth, curiosity, and passion. From the teachers and the curriculum to the class resources and the career counselling, Le Wagon sets all of its students up for success. The greatest thing about Le Wagon is the environment and atmosphere that is really conducive to learning, as everyone feels very comfortable and not afraid to ask dumb questions. I think the project-oriented style of learning was executed very well. I am a practical learner, and I felt like I was able to learn through the many projects that ramped up in difficulty, and was eased into the concepts until we could do more. I highly recommend the course for anyone interested in learning in a group setting, and is a hands-on kind of learner!

Le Wagon's Web Development course, tailored for beginners like me, was a transformative coding journey led by skilled mentors. As a 19-year-old, the collaborative learning environment and group projects not only honed my coding skills but also created lasting memories.
The instructors went beyond teaching—they were skilled mentors who made the learning experience both educational and personally enriching. Their guidance added depth to the course, making it stand out in the realm of coding bootcamps.
While the technical skills gained were invaluable, it's the friendships formed and memories created with both peers and mentors that make Le Wagon exceptional. Highly recommended for those seeking expert guidance and a coding journey filled with unforgettable moments.

I have endless gratitude to Le Wagon for putting so much energy into each of their students. This bootcamp represents way more than a school, it is a experience that I will never forget. The web development 9-weeks bootcamp is very intense, but it is well designed: small classes in the morning and in the evening. The rest of the day, your practice and practice but at your own rythm and ask teachers for help whenever needed.Inclusive, friendly, hardworkers are the 3 words I have to describre the staff.Complete, well designed and memorable is how I would describe the bootcamp.
If you are ready to put intense work in coding, you have a good sense of logic and you have money to invest, I can tell you won't regret it.
Scared about the post-bootcamp process? Le Wagon provides so many tools that you are not ever on your own. Plus, you have the opportunity to book a one-on-one chat witht the co-founder if needed. Finaly, don't forget about all the firends you will have made there. Work in team, motivate ecah other and don't hesitate to reach out. Le wagon is a big community of workers, recruiters, alums, students, etc... I told you, you have many tools!I recommend.

It's a very intensive training but at the end you come away with a lot of knowledge. The learning system with different buddies every day and former students as trainers helps a lot. Very good experiences!

I went to Le Wagon London last year and have not been able to find work since. So their 93% employment rate is not to be believed imo. Where do you begin with this place and it’s unqualified teachers and TA’s (these are teaching assistants that are in fact people who just did the last bootcamp and can’t find a real job!) The actual teaching staff that I had did not have teaching qualifications and were very biased to the back end of coding, often dismissing the front end. Your time here will largely be spent in twos doing challenges based on the morning lecture, this will largely be about Ruby on Rails! When you are there you constantly question things and are told it will all become clear in the last week or two, yet in reality this doesn’t happen but by then you’ve almost finished and you’ve spent both time and money, so kicking that can down the proverbial is easier for them! Come the last two weeks, well one of these is your ‘build a website week’ and whilst this is moderately interesting, it’s not like you couldn’t have don’t this cheaper and faster elsewhere without all the other nonsense and awful learning environment. By awful, I mean if you’re unfortunate to be one of 4 groups on the ground floor, you will enjoy constant disruption from main doors, kitchens, toilets, staff rooms and people coming and going (as there is no reception area to speak of, people are buzzed in with ease and often left to their own devices!) All of this is not conducive of a positive learning experience. Then comes career week - well this was a waste of time and energy. We actually thought it was a joke it was so bad. Many of us had already had careers and were experienced hires in other fields. The careers woman told us to delete our CV’s and start from scratch, effectively erasing all trace of any work experiences etc. When questioned about this, various staff agreed and it seemed like this was the normal thing to do. Still seemed very strange to me, but I went along with it, as did everyone else, almost like we were in a cult but didn’t know it! Almost a year later and I am not in a tech job, in fact not in any job. The reason I did this bootcamp was to change careers but in reality the world is not that simple and by doing this bootcamp it is highly unlikely you will land a job in tech in 2024. The world has changed since the days LeWagon could punt ‘startups’ and make it sound sexy. Now the majority of people aren’t interested in startups and the ones that are, are not doing bootcamps! My advice to anyone looking to change career is speak to people hiring for those jobs and hear what they’re really looking for, because it’s not, in most cases, Ruby on Rails, and your brief time at a bootcamp will simply not be enough. This is not how this is being sold, and that’s my issue with this. No, they don’t guarantee you a job, but they do use words very carefully with statistics they produce to make it seem extremely easy to get a role in tech, when for the last majority, it’s just not the case. If you want my advice or opinion, save your time and money and do not come here!

A great experience, very practical (lectures every morning and challenges during the day to put into practice what we learned) with excellent support by either our batchmates and our teachers ! Very supportive and friendly staff!A place where I definitely started to shape and launch my new career in tech!

The Wagon experience was intense and challenging, in only 2 months, we made a giant step in the tech universe. A lot of work was done, a lot of work remain, but it was an amazing experience and very useful. The teachers in Nice (south France) are basically awesome, mostly former students, very helpfull. The others students have become like army companions, we developped our skills but also our friendship. I highly recommend this very short course, intense and amazing, stressful but so enriching.

I liked the rythme of the bootcamp with the 1h30 course in the morning and coding the rest of the day till 5pm. Coding is all about doing and the formation at the Wagon really get that. But after that the exceptionnel human adventure was really something great, helping each other, at the end we were a strong group. With the teachers I had overall a great experience, very competent web dev, good pedagogy, and in the mean time, persons easy going, easy to talk and laugh with them, which is really important in an intense bootcamp like The Wagon. If I had to do it again I will and several times, it was scary hard to enter such an adventure and it was hard to leave such a family.Everything was smooth like butter, awesome team with a lot of energy, positivisme and smile to give to other.

I didn't really know what to expect but it was beyond any expectations. The program, the teachers et assistants were all very involved to make sure everybody was following up. These nine weeks were intense but smooth at the same time.Could only recommend this boot camp.

The passion for the profession in all its forms shared by the teachers and the entire team. An incredible and extraordinary experience that I will recommend 1000 times. The teachers are attentive, always present, always smiling. It's a pleasure to be able to be accompanied in this way.Their passion made me want to become an assistant professor myself !

Starting le Wagon bootcamp was one of the best decisions I've taken in my professional life. I wanted to learn in a efficient way all the skills needed to become a full stack developper without the pain of going back at school for 3-5 years. As I was switching from one career field to another, I feel that le Wagon was the best bootcamp to help me achieve my goals and start my new life as a fullstack developper. Would recommend to anyone willing to start a career in web development !

I love my experience with Le Wagon. At first I didn't believe that the training was going to work so well. But I was very motivated and even I wasn't in great shape, I think I learned the most for a beginner from scratch. It's funny, but the thing that I loved the most was the rhythm and the gradation of the studies. The logic is magnificent.

I've had the best experience of my life, it's been 10 days it is over and I already got a job interview with the career week assistence, and I already miss the bootcamp life. I won't lie, it is intensive, but they make it feel lighter and you have a whole team to help you with everything you need. Ask for help, open tickets, and become an successful Alumni
Graduate 2023
Having actually completed the full time Web Dev course at Le Wagon London in March of 2023 (Jan-March), I can tell you for a fact that it’s not all it might appear from the outside and certainly a number of things are not right. Let’s start with the implications and stats - the reason I did this bootcamp was to aid in a career change. They strongly imply that once you’ve done the bootcamp there’s thousands of tech jobs and that you will be highly employable, unfortunately this is just not the case for the vast majority of people who will leave a Le Wagon bootcamp. They use a Stat of 93% employment rate, which as of today seems to have dropped to 90%, yet still I would be amazed if the inverse of this figure was true and that even 10% of students got a tech job because of the bootcamp. I am awaiting a FOI request about what data they use to come up with these stats. If these stats were true, surely most of the people I did the bootcamp would be employed. I would say less than 10% of them have a job that isn’t either with Le Wagon or that have nothing to do with competing a coding bootcamp! The content of what is taught and how it’s taught is not good, from focusing on Ruby/Rails, something that’s hardly at the forefront of the tech world in 2023 or at the top of an employers wish list. Then there is the inexperienced staff who have little or no teaching experience and the first time they’ve done anything like this is when they’re offered a job by Le Wagon straight from the bootcamp as what they call a TA (teaching assistant). This is how they’re able to keep their costs down, and how the whole thing is able to keep going, one cohort at a time. The lack of attention to any front end design coding or real emphasis on anything that wasn’t Ruby was astonishing. You question this as you’re there, as do other students and you’re all told the same, that it will all come together in the final week - you’re suspicious but tell yourself they’re a big company, it will be ok…. It won’t. Trust your gut! The ‘career week’ was like the icing on top of a really stale cake, and just an absolute farce. Not only did the 3 employers who were invited not have any jobs to offer, and were not actually recruiting, two of them didn’t seem to know why they were there. When their talks about the tech industry finished, we were instructed to talk to them, like some oddball fans, it was almost like we all gathered round to see what other pearls of wisdom they would offer. They didn’t. All in all, 9 weeks later and not much wiser, I would say they had well and truly done a number on me. 9 months later, I am a still not in a tech role, and my physical and mental health has suffered considerably, something which is particularly saddening, given that Le Wagon continues to pedal their bootcamps to anyone who is silly enough to believe their nonsense. Do not believe them.

Attending the coding BootCamp was a transformative experience that left an unerasable mark on my journey as a coder. The program was nothing short of engaging, capturing my attention and making the learning process thoroughly enjoyable. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed, covering a wide array of topics and presenting them in an interactive and comprehensible manner. What truly set this BootCamp apart was its empowering nature—equipping me not only with technical skills but also instilling the confidence to tackle real-world coding challenges.
The atmosphere was nothing short of inspirational, fostering a sense of curiosity and a genuine passion for coding. Surrounded by like-minded individuals and knowledgeable instructors, I found myself in an environment that fueled my enthusiasm and motivated me to explore deeper into the world of programming. One thing that really stood out was the family-like environment created by the staff. I recommend this program to anyone seeking a blend of transformative education, engagement, empowerment, inspiration, and a wealth of practical knowledge. And oh, a bit of fun along the way.
