My experience with Actualize was amazing. The instruction was clear and hands-on, and my instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. Classes felt like a mentorship more than a lecture; we worked through real problems, got constant feedback, and built projects that solidified what we learned. The program emphasizes problem-solving and practical skills, not just memorizing code, so I left feeling confident in my ability to tackle real-world development work. I would recommend Actualize to everyone, especially beginners and career-changers who want strong fundamentals and caring, experienced instructors.

I just finished the Actualize bootcamp and it was absolutely amazing. If you're lucky enough to get Leon as an instructor he is such a great, patient, and understanding teacher who really wants you to understand the material thoroughly. You can tell that every single day that he truly cares about you and you're learning journey, and I'm so grateful for all the knowledge he bestowed onto me about being a SWE. Thank you Leon!!!The focus of the class is to teach you to "learn how to learn" which was super important to me when I was doing my bootcamp research. Obviously, it's impossible to learn everything there is to know about software engineering in 6 months, but what I love about this program is that they don't pretend to have all the answers to becoming a SWE (or to getting into tech in general). But what they do know is HOW to teach you the skills to be a life-long learner who can adapt to any future technological advancements and changes. I loved this course so so much and it changed my life in so many positive ways.If you're on the fence about the commitment to a bootcamp, choose Actualize. You will learn so much that you didn't even think was possible and you will come out on the other side better for it. Also, shoutout to Rena Wengrow because she was the only bootcamp recruiter I reached out who didn't make me feel likeI as a customer. My experience at Actualize was exceptional, largely due to my instructor Leon. He demonstrated deep technical expertise and a clear, structured approach to teaching complex concepts. Leon consistently provided actionable feedback, encouraged critical thinking, and emphasized best practices in both coding and problem-solving. His professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to student success made the learning experience highly effective. I graduated with a strong technical foundation, practical project experience, and the confidence to excel in a development role.

As a person that hate to study, actualize was the best, at first i pick them because they give you the laptop and because the couser is not too long, but after i talk with Rena Wengrow( Awesome and really helpfull person ) she convince me and she wasn't wrong, i really enjoy the curse, Brian is an awesome teacher and so helpful too the way he explain the things and how the curriculum is build also help the teacher to give a good learning experience. I would definitely recomend Actualize, but because is just 5 months you have to really focus on it, you have to really want to be a software developer, if you can focus for 5 months and commit to learn and practice a lot definitely Actualize would work for you!!

Good way to keep on track with learning coding when I knew bits and pieces but had never done anything as concrete as this. Sometimes the curriculum was paced in a way that puts you behind if you're not able to study in between classes (I did the bootcamp while working full time). However, the curriculum was thorough, and I didn't feel like there were any fundamentals I didn't understand by the end of the program. I feel like I came a long way in 4 months. You have open access to career coaches both during and after the course, and I have found them helpful so far.

I did length research on coding bootcamps, and I was calling other bootcamps for weeks before I eventually made my way to Actualize. I was sold on Actualize due to the live classes that we had Monday through Thursday, with our weekend homework. My instructor, Brian, was exceptional at teaching us the fundamentals in web development and taught it in a way where I was not just sitting here watching a PowerPoint the entire time. At least half of class time was always spent on actual practical application, putting what we learned into code and seeing it work. If there were any issues, Brian was there to guide us and show us where we were wrong. I have a Bachelor's in IT with a minor in software development, and if I had to do it again, I'd go with actualize the first time around. I would highly recommend this bootcamp if you can allot the time for it, are serious about learning, and can push yourself to go beyond the bare minimum. This bootcamp is perfect for someone who likes to have structure when learning something new and might have trouble setting goals for learning new things.

Joining this bootcamp not only taught me in demand web development skills but also was extremely enjoyable. My cohort was full of amazing students all eager to learn and help each other and Peter, the instructor, was the best teacher I have ever had (I graduated with a 4 year engineering degree from a top university). You could tell that the program is centered around the students and the instructor really wants to see everyone learn and succeed. Whether you are coming from a technical or non technical background, if your goal is to learn web development skills then look no further as this in my opinion the best option currently. The job support is also top tier as they have dedicated professionals helping tailor your resume and job search for the types of roles you are looking for. Overall Actualize was a great experience and my future self will be thanking me for joining.

After doing so much research on which coding BootCamp to pick, I'm really glad I picked Actualize. It is the perfect guide to break into the software development industry. The instructors (Peter) support you when you don't understand concepts and take extra time to work one-on-one with you. You work on projects that prepare you for the real world and collaborate with your classmates as you would your co-workers. The career support is AMAZING, Ryan is the absolute best and helped me craft my resume, LinkedIn, personal website, and more!! After you graduate you still have access to your career advisor, get a mentor, and can connect with other alum. I honestly miss being in class because I had so much fun learning and working with my instructor and other classmates. I have no doubt that if anyone took this course, they would be set up for success in this industry. 

Joining the Actualize bootcamp was a great move for me, even with a strong background in engineering and machine learning. The program focuses on full-stack development, which was the perfect way to round out my skills. The courses are well-designed to cover both front-end and back-end development comprehensively. Our instructor, Peter Jang was fantastic. He really knows his stuff and has a clear way of teaching that makes complex topics easy to grasp. This bootcamp is great for anyone like me who already knows a bit about machine learning and wants to expand their skill set into more practical areas of tech.If you’re thinking about boosting your ability to build complete applications from start to finish, this program is worth it. I chose to attend Actualize not just for its reputation as a top-ranked online bootcamp. After thorough research—exploring online forums and speaking with former students—I found that Actualize’s approach stood out. It emphasized critical thinking and not just teaching coding skills but also how to learn coding effectively. I was particularly drawn to the curriculum, which was led by instructors with real-world teaching experience, and the availability of an evening program. This flexibility allowed me to balance the bootcamp with my work and parenting responsibilities, which was a rare offering among other top bootcamps at the time. Additionally, Actualize’s focus on job readiness early in the program felt more authentic than the typical “job guarantee” promises, especially in today’s competitive job market.The course was challenging but also deeply enriching. I gained a lot from the experience and appreciated the program’s depth and rigor. I would advise prospective students, depending on their learning style, to be ready to dedicate time to additional weekly learning beyond the in-class curriculum to excel. Software engineering was a tough yet rewarding journey for me, and I’m continuing to learn and grow in this field.

As a teacher of computer science for many years, I had a decent handle on writing small pieces of code to accomplish limited goals. After deciding to give software development a go, I tried learning on my own all about the big wide world of true development where all the pieces fit together to form a large cohesive whole. I struggled mightily to put the pieces together on my own. Actualize was just what I needed to learn the details as well as the big picture. We learned relevant technologies with a level of rigor that was just right to keep pushing forward adding piece after piece to our toolbox until we could build an entire full stack project completely on our own. While we did not master everything during the weeks of our bootcamp, we did learn how to get there eventually through continued hard work and how to continue learning new things on our own after the bootcamp has ended. Looking back on how far we have come I am so glad I pulled the trigger on Actualize. There is no way I would have been able to achieve these gains on my own. And to think we did it all in just a few months is incredible. Much thanks to our teacher Brian who showed up for us each day and always seemed eager to walk through this journey with us, giving us all the exact level of help we needed to succeed well beyond graduation. Thank you Actualize!

Actualize Coding Bootcamp stands out for their genuine human connection. After speaking with numerous coding bootcamps where I encountered robotic, script-reading representatives who barely listened to my responses, I was feeling disheartened. Then Actualize reached out based on my inquiry form, and the difference was immediate. Their email responses were prompt and personal, and my phone conversation felt like talking to a good friend.
What sealed the deal was their offer to let me sit in on a class before signing any contracts or making payments. This authentic approach carried through to our instructor, Brian, whose classes were focused, well-structured, and refreshingly honest. While learning to code is challenging, they excel at making complex concepts accessible and logical.The most valuable takeaway wasn't just learning programming languages – it was learning how to teach myself. This bootcamp is perfect for complete beginners and those with some coding experience who want to connect the dots. Actualize's approach to class time is refreshing – unlike other bootcamps that require 40 hours of Zoom sessions per week, their schedule is more balanced. While this means you'll need some self-discipline to study independently, it's actually a benefit. After all, spending endless hours on Zoom isn't necessarily the best way to learn coding.
Although I'm sad to see the program end, I'm grateful for the great friendships I've formed and excited to be part of their strong alumni network.

Whether you are beginner or intermediate, you will learn a ton and solidify any previous coding experience you have. If you are a beginner, you will build a solid foundation. The curriculum and instruction is excellent. They really did take the time to figure out the best way to teach the material and it was not casually compiled together like a lot of online courses. I have seen beginner coders in my class succeed but having some coding experience before you join will enrich your learning.

Absolutely. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. They created a collaborative, challenging and stimulating learning environment. Peter Jang was engaging, supportive and provided appropriate motivation when needed. 

I had an amazing experience at Actualize Bootcamp! It was a fun and challenging program that constantly pushed me to grow. I highly recommend taking the course with Peter Jang – he's an excellent instructor. What stood out the most was how I saw my skills sharpen throughout the program. Not only did I learn to code, but I also learned how to learn, which is invaluable. The curriculum kept me engaged, and I always felt like I was progressing. Overall, it’s a great bootcamp that offers a fantastic learning environment!

I had the absolute pleasure of being in this bootcamp. We had a wonderful instructor Peter Jang with patience that most saints could not muster. He was informative and fun to learn from and I came in with little to no knowledge of coding and was able to follow along and learn the basics of coding. He made sure to spark the wonder for research and figuring out the problems not just giving up and saying I don't know. He offered time and expertise in so many ways to all of my classmates we all have come so far and truly will be successful due to this course.

Before joining Actualize I did some serious searching in order to find the right situation for programming bootcamp. The usual suspects popped up and I was inundated with phone call after phone call after just asking for an information packet. Actualize took a different approach, inviting me to a class and sending information without requiring enrollment, which really jived with me. That and they set realistic expectations from the get go about the experience, which was a breath of fresh air. My classmates, instructor and TAs were fantastic. Always helpful and willing to take the time to engage when problems existed. Career development is also at the forefront of their program which is a really important distinction from a lot of other programs. While other programs have useful alumni networks and some general guidance, the program is interwoven into the curriculum at Actualize. If you follow their guides and instruction, you will see results in the job market.  Personally, I could not recommend the program enough for those wanting to make the transition to tech. While your first foray into the tech industry may not be fully in development, you will still have a massive leg up coming through this program. If you make the commitment, good luck and happy coding! 

If you’re new to coding and unsure about the best path to take, Actualize is the perfect solution. This bootcamp is top-notch, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. My experience was fantastic, and it has thoroughly prepared me for a career as a software developer/engineer. Their application process was simple, and they were very clear about their curriculum. The pre-course work with Kevin was essential for building a strong foundation in coding, and the live course with Brian surpassed all my expectations. Brian structured the class content exceptionally well and paid close attention to each student’s needs. He guided my cohort from writing loops in Ruby to creating full-stack web applications, and I now feel confident using Rails and React to develop web apps. Ryan, the career advisor for my cohort was also super helpful for preparing you get a job post bootcamp.

I did quite a bit of research on different camps and thankfully found Actualize at the last minute. With some of the contenders I just had this feeling like it may not be the best fit for me and everything I read about Actualize sounded great. I couldn't have been happier with my time at Actualize. The instruction is in a league of its own and the instructors know how to convey the information to every student (including those that do not come from a computer bootcamp like myself). The instructors were so helpful and caring! I feel equipped to enter the working world and have been given the tools to navigate coding post graduation. The Job Hacking portion of the class does not stop when you graduate as they are truly there for you and want to help you find a job. This is an all around outstanding organization and I am so grateful to be a part of it!
