Most importantly, the instructors are very interactive, hands on, and passionate. They want to see every cohort succeed in their learning and you can see the labor of love that goes into teaching us, providing quality content both in the sessions and via the course site. Die Entscheidung fiel mir nicht schwer, da ich mich in meinem alten Job festgefahren fühlte.
Dauer und Classmates: Das Bootcamp dauerte 5,5 Monate und wurde mit fantastischen Menschen durchgeführt, sowohl Teilnehmende als auch Instruktoren. Die Teilnehmenden sowie einige Instruktoren hatten interdisziplinäre Hintergründe, sodass verschiedene Erfahrungen und Perspektiven bei Entwicklung und Lernfortschritt aufeinandergetroffen sind, die für interessante Gespräche, Lösungen und Herangehensweisen gesorgt haben.
Instruktoren: Keine Frage war zu doof – na klar – Selbstorganisation und Mitdenken waren Grundvoraussetzungen.
Lerninhalte und Ergebnisse: Die Lernkurve wuchs langsam, aber stetig, von einfachem HTML und CSS zu komplexeren Anwendungen, die erst skizziert und dann in React mit Typescript programmiert wurden, um zum Schluss zu einem fertigen Produkt zu kommen, sei es eine Website, eine Webapp oder eine Anwendung, um seinen Tagesablauf zu organisieren oder ein Katalog mit deinen Lieblings Pokémon.
Erfahrungen und Herausforderungen: Mit dem Beginn des Bootcamps ging es für mich darum zu erkunden, was mir liegt und was mir nicht liegt. Auf welche Weise lerne ich am besten oder welche Art des CSS liegt meinen Denkstrukturen näher, einfaches CSS, SCSS oder Tailwind? Hier musste ich mich mit mir selbst auseinandersetzen und einen Weg finden, Code zu schreiben, nach meinen Vorlieben, den man auch nachvollziehen kann.

As a graduate, I want to say that these were wonderful months spent in a pleasant and nurturing team environment. I chose a field that genuinely interests me, and despite the very fast-paced learning, I managed to handle the workload, even though it was challenging. The school provides a wealth of knowledge – I would say they really try to prepare you as thoroughly as possible for starting your career in your chosen profession. Most of the instructors are practicing professionals. The atmosphere is very respectful. ICH stays in constant contact with its students and continuously improves its programs, so I think the curriculum has been updated even since my course. ICH organizes many useful webinars and meetings with interesting guests, and they don't abandon their graduates :). Yes, it's tough and you have to search for work yourself, but there's always support from the company's career department. As for internships – they're available, and you can do more than one if you wish. To sum up, I can say: I was incredibly fortunate to become part of an interesting and supportive community that came into my life thanks to ICH. PS: It was even hard to say goodbye to some of the instructors :)
