WeStride is a bootcamp based in Thailand that offers a self-paced, online web development bootcamp. The bootcamp covers topics like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Firebase, and responsive web design. Students will employ techniques like paired programming to help them learn important concepts and practice working as a team. The course has four projects and two of them will help build student portfolios before graduation.
The Web Development bootcamp is designed for students that have some programming experience. WeStride also offers a web development course to help students prepare for the bootcamp with basic concepts. Interested applicants can speak with an advisor to see if the program is right for them.
WeStride is meant to give students the skills they need to become professional developers. Career support is included in the curriculum with services like interview prep, profile development coaching, access to help from an alumni network, access to a network of hiring partners, and help with negotiating job offers. Students have regular meetings with coaches throughout the course.
WeStride offers a discount for students that pay upfront and students have the option to pay in installments. Students that don’t find employment within 6 months of graduating are eligible to receive a refund.
