    Vandy Bootcamp

This has been an amazing experience, the instructors are very knowledgable in their fields and are willing to go the extra mile to help you. The course work is challenging and it does require a number of hours outside of class to get the most out of the program.

The Success Manager had been a great help to talk to, she has helped me work through some of the issues surrounding the bootcamp (job search nerves, impostor syndrome, etc.) and is always around and available.

    Definitely Worth It

Vanderbilt's Full Stack Coding Boot Camp has been an amazing experience. The instructors are extremely informative, patient, and available when it comes to helping the students. Full-Stack Part-Time Boot Camp

I left my job after a buyout so I found myself looking to make a career change at age 55. I was googling bootcamps and Vandy's popped up. As a previous RN & perfusionist at Vandy, I knew that it would be a great place to go. Knowing myself and the way I learn best I also knew I would stay on track better with going to a physical school & having deadlines instead of trying to learn on my own. It was absolutely the best choice for me, I love the friends I've made and my awesome instr...

    Awful

I started this program back in June with hopes of furthering my knowledge base in Data/Business analytics. I was contacted by the recruiting team to start my application. There was a lot of inconsistency with communication and I also had to sign a contract. I thought this was weird for Vandy but I dismissed as a lot of businesses have changed practices post Covid and Vandy is a good school. I don't have a lot of prior skills in data analytics and also work a full time job. I asked recrui...

Thank you for your review. We regret that the boot camp did not live up to your expectations. As you noted, Vanderbilt has partnered with edX/2U to offer Vanderbilt University Boot Camps. Vanderbilt is deeply involved in the curriculum, instructor selection, and outcomes of each of our classes, and routinely meet in conjunction with edX/2U to monitor student experience and performance. Both Vanderbilt and edX/2U are completely dedicated to transforming students' lives. Vanderbilt University reviews and approves all curricula to ensure that they meet the academic standards expected by both students and employers.

As you note, the boot camp model is rigorous and fast-paced, and we cover a great deal of knowledge in a limited amount of time. We do our best to communicate to students that because we cover a wide range of topics, concepts are introduced at a higher level in class, after which students are expected to dive in and gain a deeper understanding outside of class. This helps students learn how to problem-solve and self-teach, a key skill in a data analyst's career. Our team is constantly working to improve our curriculum to ensure that students have the best learning experience possible.

We pride ourselves on student success, which is why we provide support both inside and outside of the classroom. We understand that you did not find this service to be helpful during your boot camp experience, and we take all feedback seriously.

Our refund policy as well as the enrollment agreement (EA) you signed when you paid your deposit does note that $1,000 of the deposit is not refundable. While we never want our students to drop from the program, we are transparent about the nonrefundable part of the deposit so that students are aware of how a refund would be processed if they choose to drop. By making clear the non-refundable portion of the deposit at the time of enrollment, we also ensure that students reserving a seat feel confident in their decision to enroll. This is important since that seat will not be available to any other student interested in the program.

We would love the opportunity to speak with you directly to learn how else we can assist you at this time. If you would like, please reach out to us at (615) 200-1138.
