The Dev Masters

I have a serious interest in learning Python and not just from a superficial level, but I would really like to become proficient. I walked into the class unsure of what Python could do for me, and I walked out with a deeper interest and sincere appreciation. Your Applied Labs class is great stepping stone into helping me achieve that endeavor. I definitely learned a lot of practical knowledge that I am taking back to my work immediately. Furthermore, all the fundamentals that I think are needed in order for one person to start on that journey and be successful with Python are available in the class. Both weekends were amazing! I definitely appreciate that it was on a weekend, as this allowed me as a working professional to take full advantage of the time to ask questions, get involved in the curriculum and truly learn.

I have a PhD in statistics applied to economics at UCR and I work in the financial market, with an Asset management in Brazil and another company focused on the cryptocurrency and blockchain market in the UK. I chose to take the course in theDevMaster exactly because it is applied using techniques like ML and AI with python, which greatly contributed to the management of my business. Strongly recommend this activity.

Data science has been a wonderful journey for me so far. Never could I have imagined a career that is so aligned with my interests as well as my skills. Yet before I started, I was always asking if I could even start in a tech field that is so far from my background in the humanities. Happily, I ran into The Dev Masters group & they proved to me time & time again attending the course that no other school could have given me the personalized training the way I needed, starting from materials before the first day to bring me up to speed with everyone else in my class in Python programming & statistics. What solidified how much depth & knowledge I have in data science now is the fact that concepts (from machine learning to deep learning) that were introduced were not only built upon each other but re-established in projects throughout the course. Each & every project had a purpose to teach me how to apply what I just learned, but also show me where my weaknesses were. Of course, it took time, the 12 weekends back to back is a commitment; but it is said that to really master something, you need at least 10k hours into it. Well, The Dev Masters helped me gain my first 500 hours & I will be coming back to their consistent updates to gain even more hours (especially in their upcoming artificial intelligence continuation courses). Do I recommend this course? Of course! Do I have any regrets? Only that I didn't find them sooner!
