SV Academy is an intensive tech sales training provider that offers a 4-week full-time and 8-week part-time online high-growth sales training program. The full-time schedule has a 40-hour-per-week time commitment for the first 4 weeks of training while the part-time schedule requires about 20 hours per week for the first 8 weeks. SV Academy combines hands-on, intensive training with a strong network, career transition support, and career coaching to help job seekers launch meaningful high-growth business careers. During the training phase, learners will attend live classes, complete weekly assignments, improve their interview readiness, and participate in a live employer project. SV Academy focuses on training job seekers in high-growth sales, an approach pioneered by tech companies and now in demand across all industries. This approach is less about schmoozing than traditional sales, and more focused on data, agile processes, user empathy, and strategic problem-solving.
To be eligible for admission, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. The application process involves completing an online application, submitting and passing a written assessment, and a final interview with an admissions director. No prerequisite skills, business experience, or a perfect GPA is needed for enrollment. SV Academy is looking for committed job seekers with strong written and verbal communication abilities who are coachable and eager to start building their business careers and transform their lives.
After successfully completing the 4-week full-time or 8-week part-time training, a dedicated Career Transition Manager will help program participants navigate the job search process. SV Academy will also match and facilitate warm introductions between job seekers and prospective employers with open roles. After getting hired, SV Academy graduates will receive professional career coaching for the first 6 months, helping them to maneuver the rough spots of beginning a new career and put them on a path toward a promotion.

Along with a supportive and inclusive community to help you along your journey, SV Academy puts you out of your comfort zone so you can grow quickly. The program managers are friendly and knowledgeable. There is an emphasis on a holistic approach to learning including emotional intelligence, domain expertise, and self-care so learners are as well-rounded and prepared as possible. My biggest takeaway was leveraging how to make connections and my professional brand. For someone else, it may be tech guidance and for another, it could be EQ coaching. The point is: there is a lot to learn that impacts each individual differently, but it helps them be their best selves.
What you get out of SVA, is what you put into it. There are hundreds of graduates that are ready to connect and share their learnings with you. If you are ready to make a change in your life and are ready to jump in with both feet, you will succeed.

I started to see ads for SV Academy and finally clicked on one. I was a little bit suspicious but found enough reviews online that felt genuine. I knew the coursework would be rigorous from what everyone was saying. After researching and learning about SV's new Customer Success fellowship, I felt like I'd found what I was looking for. I applied to the program and was accepted on a full scholarship!
The program is intense, but the community is so amazing and supportive. I have no doubt that they are a large part of what helped me succeed. I was able to Slack my cohorts and ask them for feedback on assignments or help to better understand our projects. This type of environment is beneficial when you're coming into a new field with no prior experience. I love my cohort and still keep in contact with a lot of the members. I stuck with the program and am happy to say I was awarded an eight-week paid internship that was recently converted to full-time!
