 Promineo Tech is a growing business that aims to make coding more accessible. The company was founded recently and offers affordable, fully online boot camps in partnership with local community colleges. I decided to take a chance on Promineo Tech after years of struggling with self-taught methods and getting stuck in tutorial hell. My experience with this coding bootcamp is AMAZING! And that is saying something because I've attended a different bootcamp as well as taken university dev classes. I am learning a lot and love the instructor. He is supportive and his explanations are clear and helpful. The work is challenging, and I am definitely growing/improving in my skills as a Java developer.

This is an excellent led Boot Camp course with a great instructor. The course has a great full course syllabus and is well directed. I love how we have tools such as instant messengers at home through our phones and computers to communicate with our instructor if we have any questions outside of class. He is very quick to respond with any questions throughout the day and is thorough in his responses. I recommend this course to anyone who is willing to work hard to earn the amazing skills this course will teach you in Java programming and web development as well as the financial benefits that it will provide. I felt comfortable joining this Boot Camp because it is affiliated with a university. Much to my dismay, it should not be, and is not ran like a college course. This is a complete scam. They expect you to go to the first class, and know if it’s a good fit then and there!
The first class consists of listening to the “teacher”talk about how great the courses is. If you do not decide after the first class, that you need to drop out, you are screwed. I have sent numerous emails, I’ve had meetings, and have tried to get them to drop this course for me, and I’m getting the complete runaround. They have my $3800, so why would they need to help me know??
 A college course allows you to drop the course after a certain amount of time, you can do it in a set amount of time without a penalty, and then, if you need to drop the class later, you will receive a W, and have some fees. However, since this is not a college course, but somehow affiliated with a college, they take your money and you’re screwed if you go beyond WEEK 1. The professors are not professors, they have no idea how to teach, and you’re supposed to learn by watching a video. I could get the Boot Camp for free online. 
Save your money. Save your sanity. Do some thing else! Go to an actual college and do not get sucked into this scam. It’s a joke. Read less
