Product Gym (PG) by Elevate is an online technical skills platform offering a 12-week product management (PM) career coaching program and a 15-week QA (SDET) skills training program. PG members get access to fully remote courses, which offer flexible start times, a comprehensive curriculum, and career support to help members secure their target Product or QA job. Both tracks can be taken flexibly, at the same or different times. On average, PG members spend 7 – 10 hours per week on both tracks combined. Once joined, members have access to all of PG's classes, community resources, and support for life.
Product Gym by Elevate’s QA program is suitable for people of all experience levels. To enroll, book a discovery call with the admissions team. The Product Management program is more selective and accepts only about 10% of applicants. Those interested in the Product Management program should be interested in breaking into PM or securing a better PM role; have a strong work ethic and ability to problem-solve; be able to follow advice from coaches; and be excited to be part of the PG community.
Product Gym by Elevate’s Job Placement Assistance Program for the QA program is provided through PG partners and lasts for about 4 months. In this program, members will receive a weekly live session breakdown, with the added benefit of having all sessions recorded, allowing participants to learn at their own pace. PG’s Product Management program includes placement — members of the program can secure 3-5 offers in as soon as 45 days.
Payment plans are available to Product Gym by Elevate members.

Right from helping with resumes to negotiating job offers. Classes are structured in such a way that you can use that knowledge in the interviews right away. Mentor calls are incredibly helpful. The whole team is very accessible on Mattermost. It’s like having a mentor through the process, except you have a whole team of mentors guiding you. I never expected to land on an offer during covid just a month in the program, but I did and I have various other companies in the pipeline. I joined Product Gym to learn how to play and win this "interview game," as I haven't been interviewing for a while. It was my best investment decision I made for my career advancement! It allowed me to learn the skill of interviewing itself. Product Gym teaches you what really works and what doesn't to get a PM job.
I landed several PM offers after 3 months of training and interviewing while on a full-time job.
First, the curriculum covers all essential PM topics and even more. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, friendly, and willing to help. Second, coaching calls are extremely helpful. Oliver, who conducts calls twice a week, answers questions related to interviews. That is an awesome resource for preparing appealing stories for behavioral questions, which you will get a lot during interviews. Third, community support is tremendous! There several channels in Mattermost, where members share useful materials, exchange their experience, and help each other!

Before I attended the classes I was on my own, backed with a traditional resume and interview answers, it just didn't work. The job environment has drastically changed, the old way of applying works for almost no one. Attending Product Gym's classes gave me the knowledge required to do the job but more importantly actually get the job. Their strategy is intense and a real grind but you will see results in only a few weeks. You will get the experience needed to land your dream job. I was HIGHLY skeptical of the process, this only held me back. I spoke to past students and the instructors and decided to give their method a shot. Within a few weeks I was able to land an offer!

Cons

My favorite pros:
- community that holds you accountable
- lifetime membership - once your'e in, you can come back to their program as long as you want every time you need a new PM job
- ISA program - NO UPFRONT payment required, you just give them 10% of your salary if/when you land a job. That way it's risk free. But if you think you're likely to get a job, I would do the regular fee because it's probably a 50% cost savings over the ISA approach
