Can't believe i am giving review right now as it wasn't long ago it was a dream for me to become a PM. I have made it now. The journey was
full of lessons and on each critical moment PG coaches and peers were there with me to support. I was all over the place and applying without any structure earlier. After joining PG, I became more focused and structured in applying. PG provided amazing guidance in preparing for each round of interview and because of that i am here now with a PM offer. Thanks PG family for all support and guidance.

I am a product manager in the Bay Area and until this week, I had been at the same company for over 8 years. I joined PG not to transfer into product, but to develop the skills I needed to continue in my career.  I was skeptical about joining Product Gym at first, but honestly it was worth it. Product Gym helped me identify where I was falling short in interviews, understand how to market myself, and gain the confidence I needed to land a job offer.  
Product Gym is a very appropriate name. Just like a gym, the results you get are directly related to the work you put in. During my interviewing journey there were many dark moments. Because I had been at the same place for so long, I was worried that my experience was so specific to the needs of the company I worked at, that other companies would only see me for what I had done rather than what I could offer. Hours of preparation and practice for each interview seemed to lead to rejection every time. It was demoralizing. My commitment to PG’s process and the resources PG offers  helped me stay on track, get past those negative thoughts, learn from my mistakes, and just keep on applying. After about a month and a half I received my first offer.

Product Gym has been the best career decision that I have made thus far. I come from a non-traditional background, having been in education (professor, administratrator) for most of my nearly 20 year career. On top of that, I’ve been working abroad in Asia for over ten years. However, I always dreamed of a full-time career in tech back home in the States. About a year ago, I stumbled upon the role of product manager and realized that my skill set would match the role. I first started my PM journey by enrolling in a different certification program. Though I had dabbled in a couple startups before, I didn’t know much about how to be a PM nor did I realize how competitive it would be to get a PM job, so I thought that program would help.  Unfortunately, when I completed the program, I still lacked confidence and had no idea how to actually get a job. Then I stumbled across Product Gym through some YouTube videos that I thought were really helpful. Though skeptical that the program would work for someone with my background, I went ahead and signed up. There is no question that PG asks a lot of their members. You have to work hard for what you want. But PG gives incredibly practical, concrete advice that actually produces results. After working with the coaches, my resume now actually opens the door to interviews. And I know that my interview skills have improved significantly through everything I learned in the PG classes and through the coaching calls. I’ve been effective in getting to the final rounds of PM interviews and finally just landed an offer. What seemed like a daunting goal as an aspiring PM has become a reality. Thank you so much, PG! 

Product Gym is one of the best decisions I have made. It’s the perfect package for PMs who really want to take their career to the next level. The program is very comprehensive and provides you with deep knowledge on how to ace PM interviews end-to-end and has all that nuance you’ll never find online or from a book. On top of that, there’s a very active community of PM mentors, industry veterans and helpful peers that'll answer all your questions. This is not just a program that'll get you your next job but really something that’ll benefit your career as a whole in the years to come. The program is also constantly updated to fit new PM trends.

A few months ago, I wanted to transition into tech, and/or fintech, but I wasn't really sure how to. A few friends referred me to chat with Rich, the Co-Founder of PG, who instantly identified all the painpoints I felt in my current role. I was working a tireless job in sales, and I didn't know how to pivot. Richard the Co-Founder alleviated all my fears by letting me know, he had already helped thousands of students seamlessly transition from various backgrounds. He also let me know that a lot of my sales skill sets were transferrable and even necessary for the Product role. 

A few weeks into the program, I was really amazed at how effective the PG-guided resume was. I was literally getting 10-20 interviews a week.. at my peak, I had 11 interviews in 1 day...!! I was really amazed at such results!! Although it was difficult, I felt like I was on to something... I simply trusted the process. As time went by, I really felt like I started to get a hang of what the heck these interviewers wanted to hear from me.. Incrementally, I came to see the importance of working with coaches, and colleagues to get the criticism to make iterative improvements. It wasn't easy hearing someone tell me how to improve this or that, but IT WORKS. 

After mastering the resume, then the R1, R2/R3 interviews, I started to really struggle with the Case Study component... I was losing a lot of hope.. as I felt like yet again, I had no idea what to do... but I kept pushing with the help and guidance of the coaches.. I kept watching the class videos (don't feel embarrassed to watch the videos over and over again!) and attended the coaching calls. I truly believe, you just have to keep practicing, iterating. Finally, after my 5th case study (yes with 5 different companies..!), I felt like I started to get a hang of this... and I nailed the 6th case study with the help of the coaches. 

With the help of Product Gym, I accepted an offer to move forward with a Fintech company as a Product Manager for the first time in my life. As a salesgirl with zero background in tech!!!! I am SOOOO happy to be walking away from my old life, and I am totally looking forward to an amazing new career in Fintech!!! It's so funny looking back bc it's exactly what I wanted... although I had NO idea HOW I was gonna get there, I just had some gut feeling that this will work. I'm glad I trusted Rich and followed his program. I've got to say, without PG, none of my dreams would have been possible... I'm SOOO grateful I discovered this program, and I wish everyone else on the platform to continue pushing forward despite any frustrations they feel. Cons: There is room for improvement and greater efficiency, but no major complaints.

Product Gym is a fantastic service for anybody who is really motivated to get a foot in the door to a career in product management, regardless of background. The program is highly oriented toward practical steps a person can immediately take to land a coveted product role. Much of the curriculum focuses on job hunting tactics and interviewing preparation. There are also short courses that broadly cover topics related to a career in product management, such as feature prioritization and A/B testing, which while useful don’t go very deep into a given topic.

I come from a data analytics background and PG really equipped me well to transition to product management. About two months ago I had no clue how to make the career pivot - even thought about taking another product analyst position, working on a lateral role for two more years to wait for internal promotion... 
Fortunately I stumbled upon product gym, like many of you, and spent a week reading through their testimonial page, before I signed up as a member. The high quality of teaching, the amount of resources, community/peer support and inspiration was beyond expectation. 50 days after becoming a member, I received my first offer as a Product Manager from a SaaS company. I can't thank PG enough for everything I've gained here, and I know the journey is just starting.

Product Gym has been an excellent resource in helping me land my product management job. The online classes were an excellent resource to build my PM skills. The coaches were extremely responsive to answering my questions, helping me refine my case studies, and providing me with good books to read to improve my PM knowledge. Without the resume help that is provided at the outset of the course I would not have gotten the interview requests from companies in my PM job search. I would not have landed my PM job without the help of Product Gym.

I've used the PG materials and member portal a second time this year during my current job search,  when I'm up leveling my PM role to more senior roles.  I've found the interview prep and offer negotiation materials just as useful as the first time around, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much "muscle memory" I had from going through the program about year ago.   The method works and I highly recommend it.  
Pros: Clear, actionable advice for every step of the interview and offer process. Very responsive team. 

I joined Product Gym, started the full program with branding. It is amazing, you get an in-depth review of your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn. They look through everything and after an iterative process only approve the best version of the documents. Trust them on this process because it has immediate results.
I started applying on 01/28/2022, I had an offer in hand for a target company and city by 02/18/2022. Before PG I wasn't even getting a callback. So branding is worth it!
Next is skill training, PG has weekly twice coaching calls and weekly twice classes to get you up to speed for interview prep and even on the job skill development.
Their focus though is specifically to get you hired and get you real PM experience, so that's how the program is designed to get interviews, practice, and get hired.
Lastly, it's a lifelong membership with the PG community. You can come back again for your 2nd, 3rd ... and so on jobs, and relearn or get updated on the newest interviewing skills and trends. You have a high level of interaction with members often materializing in a strong sense of community.

My experience with Product Gym has been incredible so far! There is so much support throughout the process of finding a product manager role, from resume review to negotiating your offer(s). You also have access to a plethora of resources that help you succeed on the job. The classes offered are very informative and give you the chance to connect with successful product managers in the industry. Overall, I am very pleased with the entire process. You do have to work hard to achieve the results, but are fully supported through the process. 

I only wish I had discovered Product Gym years ago

If you are like me and tried everything else (side projects, certifications, leader sponsorship)  to start your product career to no avail then stop and sign up for Product Gym.   

It will be the best investment you make to start or enhance your product career.  I have tried all of the above and while it help my knowledge base it did not help me land an offer.  

The training, resources, and coaching of product gym, as challenging as they can be, make all the difference.  They helped me walk, talk, and act as a product manager.    I have never had so many interviews in my life.  

I only wish I had discovered Product Gym years ago. 

Product Gym process just works. This is the only program out there that will help you from scratch. When I say from scratch it means it starts with the mindset and not resume. After joining Product gym, I realized how important mindset could be for getting a product job. Going in the right mindset sets the stage on how to even think around bullet points you would put on your resume. Product gym helped me all along in the process – resume, applying at scale, recruiter phone screening, hiring manager round, stakeholder interview round and the case studies. I began my Product Gym experience when I was sure I wanted to transition to a product manager, but wasn’t sure how to get attention from my ideal companies and industries.  Since joining PG and the community, and following it’s path - I’ve received multiple offers thanks to the course content, resume reviews, and approach.  I’ve gained a sense of confidence and assurance in my ability to interview and be seen as a capable product manager as well.  In addition, I’ll still have access to the resources after I land my next role - which I know will be very helpful in the future.
