Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.
Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.

I'm in the process of a career change and had been reading review after review of bootcamps. I was becoming overwhelmed with it all when I stumbled upon Nucamp. I went to their website to read more about their values and goals for their students. The more I read, the more I found this was the bootcamp for me. Small class sizes, actual live sessions with the instructor, well laid out courses, and all at a price point that I could easily work into my budget.

Worth the time
I wanted to get a base layer of knowledge before deciding whether or not coding could be a career possibility for me. It covered the basics in a rapid 4 week course and overall, it did what was promised. It's an intense amount of information and there's no lie that you need to study daily to retain it. Best affordable bootcamp off tops
I signed up for Nucamp to get a feel of the pressure to tackle a project in front end development and it definitely was worth it. The material is very interactive and a-lot of explanation definitely helps you tackle the tip of the ice berg in this field . I work full time and was able to manage the material but i would say definitely put in 3 hours daily Monday- Friday and as much time as possible on the weekends to understand the syntax and material being taught.

Best bang for the buck!
I chose Nucamp because of it's bootcamp offerings, affordability, and good reviews. Though this is my first module in the Front End Development Bootcamp, I had a blast learning and collaborating with my instructor and classmates. During Week 4, my instructor had an issue and was not available for us Week 4 and Week 5 (the last two weeks of the 1st module), but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the coursework and module. As of right now, I was considering upgrading from the Front End Web Deve...I chose Nucamp because of it's bootcamp offerings, affordability, and good reviews. Though this is my first module in the Front End Development Bootcamp, I had a blast learning and collaborating with my instructor and classmates. After much speculation and reviewing all sorts of options, courses, camps and packages, I chose Nucamp and am really happy I did. I've never done a proper camp before so I don't know what exactly to compare it to honestly, but I can say that I was surprised and excited by the structure and guidance in getting you set up and walking you through the materials every week.
There is a good amount of encouraging you to do a bunch of outside resource education and research (not required...After much speculation and reviewing all sorts of options, courses, camps and packages, I chose Nucamp and am really happy I did. I've never done a proper camp before so I don't know what exactly to compare it to honestly, but I can say that I was surprised and excited by the structure and guidance in getting you set up and walking you through the materials every week.
There is a good amount of encouraging you to do a bunch of outside resource education and research (not required but a strong suggestion), which at first I was feeling lazy about and just wanted it all laid out for me in the lectures and material (that's what I paid for!), but then I remembered that's not how the tech world operates in real life and you have to do A LOT of self learning and research at any coding job, so really they're trying to train you at every step of the way to prepare you for having an actual role in a tech job, which I appreciate. Most jobs out there say they want competent self starters, and that begins at the foundation of your learning journey.
Highly recommend. It's affordable compared to most camps out there offering the same thing, and in conjunction with other programming courses and free material online it's the perfect tool in your kit to get you right for your future. That said, I should say something I learned is that no singular bootcamp or course is going to be your everything and one and only. Just like you don't go to college and take one crash course and expect a job immediately after, each additional skill you add is going to help you overall and you have to build. The problem is most of us have no clue where to even start, and that's where bootcamps come into play. It's invaluable. I personally know for a fact I would not be nearly as far in my learning path if I didn't do this- I've been trying for over a year to exclusively self-teach, you can only get so far without outside help, feedback and the know-how of what exactly you should be doing. nucamp is very well priced in the bootcamp arena. At the same time their instructors are very credible in the industry and have a passion for teaching, along with the patience needed for aspiring developers. I recently completed Nucamp's Python Fundamentals course, which is the first course in their Backent SQL, DevOps with Python bootcamp. I liked how the program is designed and excited about the next courses. Eventhough they were good resources, I always felt that there was something missing. This course filled that gap. My instructor was great and explained everything to the detail.
