learning code with a full-time job

It was nice to have the time to learn code in a relaxed setting. Being able to do the course work online during the week then meet up on the weekends to go over the work and get any additional help from the instructors was a great way to learn

    Real Instructor Feedback

I had been looking for a bootcamp, course, or class to help me learn to become a full-stack developer. I am currently a front-end developer but lacked confidence and direction. After I conducted some research into bootcamps and schools, my final decision would be based on 2 things I was looking for:
    1. Learning relevant and up to date code
    2. A program that can help me elevate my coding skills and understanding of code.

    After reading countless review...

    Surprisingly thurough

I chose Nucamp because it seems to be a good value for its price. The price is very reasonable compared to many other bootcamps. I was afraid that I wouldn't learn enough material in the given amount of time for each section of the Web Dev Fundamentals course. Each section is short, but it forces you to build bridges and fill in gaps with outside learning. I really enjoyed my course. And I feel like it's a solid choice for anyone who has time/budget constraints. If you're willing to do t...

I had a very basic understanding of simple HMTL concepts before this course, and not much knowledge outside of that. After this course I can code, style, package, and deploy my own website using the fundamental knowledge I gained. Highly recommended

    Nucamp was a decent investment!

I read a few reviews on some forums and drew the conclusion that Nucamp was affordable. I have attended a much more expensive Full Stack bootcamp and withdrew due to the price and time limit of the course. This course was much more self-paced though the investment was still enough to motivate me to complete everything on time. My favorite instructor by far was Naasir Bush! Naasir was attentive and very enthusiastic about teaching. I recommend this boot camp for anyone who needs the extra...

    Hands-on Coding

Taking coding courses at a college didn’t make me feel like I could actually code by the end of class. I spent too much time worrying about things like writing papers and making sure they followed formats like MLA. At Nucamp, it’s all about the code—just pure, hands-on coding. You actually learn how to apply the skills, which feels amazing. I’m hoping to work as a fully remote web developer in the near future—front end, back end, or full stack.

Don't hesitate! Best value and best resources

As a person in her late 40s, I have been pondering a career change into CS for over a year. I researched bootcamps that were local, national, university based, non-university based, etc. As soon as I expressed interest, an advisor reached out to me and I found him (Dean) to be warm, welcoming, and helpful. NuCamp offered the quickest schedule and that appealled to me since I am looking for a new career. The price was also the most reasonable and they offer the career advice and support I...

    Builds your confidence to learn

For a while, I had been searching for a coding bootcamp that I could afford. I went through countless self-paced courses and got stuck in endless tutorial cycles. Nucamp made it easy for me to join, pay in installments, and even receive part of my tuition through one of their scholarships. So far, I am enjoying the learning journey: small classes, a supportive instructor, and projects that help you progress and encourage you to push yourself.

    It's been great!

I enrolled into Nucamp because I wanted to further my knowledge of programming. It was the right decision. It has given me the basic knowledge of Python (so far) to understand the language more fluently. I aspire to create applications to better the job I work and create applications that will integrate with programs I currently use.

NuCamp Full-Stack Web and App Development

I was working as a Software Tester for several years.  While taking the Front-End course, despite it being focused on the developer needs, I learned so many things that would have helped even as a tester.  Every instructor I've met so far has been very knowledgeable, and happy to help explain topics as needed, while still encouraging learning and practice over rote memorization.  Discussion and learning with others on their development journey is an excellent bonus that can't easily be d...

    Affordable, Supportive, Fun

Ultimately, three things led me to NuCamp. Consistent feedback from professionals in the field, hands on experience with the learning material, and price. Nucamp exceeded my expectations and I hope that I can take what I have learned to the next step. I have one more course to go to complete my Fullstack Dev certificate but I am so happy with how far I have come.

    Nucamp Python course review

So far I've only done the 5 weeks of the Python course from the stance of someone that's only done HTML before actively and dabbled into C++ and python barely and not done well/failed. This course and instructor Michael lit the match that started my passion for coding and gave me tools to assist me in my future endeavors. I'm fired up to push forward to complete my project game and think up and work on new projects moving forward on my own!
