Kable Academy will throw a ton of information at you, but will help you digest it all. 

You will have the knowledge to be prepared for a career in IT. They also emphasize lifelong learning. You won't know everything going into your first job. But if you're interested and committed, you'll do well.

All of the instructors and the career services staff are wonderful. I never felt like I was alone and out on a limb.

I went to their cybersecurity bootcamp right when I got out of high school. The course was amazing and the on site courses were really fun and hands on. Mr.Barnes is an amazing instructor and really understands how to assist you through learning something. The job placement program however, I'm a taller guy with a background in sports so Denis (the recruiter) put at a job with Aegis. I was excited to start my career in IT. Expect that on my first day at work there they told me that nothing I was going to do was anywhere close to IT. I tried it for a bit and due to my fear of heights and general dissatisfaction with the work I was doing I left and went to recouncil with Denis. Right before our online meeting I was told that the owner of the company would be joining us. So when I voiced my concerns and grievances with the fact that I spent a good amount of money to learn IT and now I wasn't even working in IT. I was told that I was being "extremely unprofessional" and that "I'm giving Kable Academy a really bad look right now" which made me feel very disrespected, to the point of tears. When I told both of them that I want to work in IT and I don't think my body can handle this work from injuries throughout my life I was told to essentially suck it up and get to work because they told me "your first job probably won't be in the field you want to work in" which left me dumbfounded, why did I even go here if finding IT work was going to be something I had to do myself. Eventually I left Aegis and cut ties with Denis to avoid being disrespected further and now I'm making more than I did at Aegis and I'm actually working in IT

Basically, if you're going to go here. Be ready to find work yourself because they care more about putting you in roles that'll make them money rather than putting you in actual IT work Read less

I came into Kable Academy, not knowing anything about computers, let alone cyber security. This course took me 3 months to complete. I had the fortune of having a great instructor, who has been on the field for so long. He taught me, more than just what any article in cybersecurity. He taught me how to optimize my computer to work at the most optimal level. He taught me  how to do more set up a "simple network", he also taught us ways to make it secure. The labs we have gave us all a hands on experience. When I completed it, the career services helped me find a job, and when I entered the job force, I stuck out from the rest of new hires I was with. The skills I learned where more than I needed to just get started in IT. Eventually, after working at my first job out of Kable Academy, I was offered a job as a TA at Kable Academy. After working for a few years as a TA, I was promoted as an instructor and also the head of IT Support at the school. Choosing to go into this field, and going to Kable Academy, was honestly the best decision I have ever made.  Read less

I really am glad I decided to go with this program. Before attending here I figured out IT was something I wanted to do but couldn’t figure out who I wanted to get lessons with. My instructor mr Mark craig has been great and always went a extra mile to get a reasoning or abbreviation clear to you and I appreciate that!, definitely recommend this program for anyone betting on themselves to make it in IT. I came to this program to learn how to build and design websites for marketing purposes, and Kable Academy delivers. I was most impressed by the kindness of the staff and their willingness and drive to help every student and meet them where they are. Even though I did not want a programming/developer job (I was searching for marketing roles), they were more than willing to advise me and help me job search with enthusiasm. The atmosphere is very casual, laidback, and fun. The staff cares about their students and wants each to achieve. Even though I had already taken previous courses in the IT field this course was still an amazing course to not only touch up on what I already knew but it taught me so much more about the field. Halfway through the course we were forced to move to online learning due to Covid but everybody at KableAcademy handled it amazingly and picked up with barely any hiccups. Read less

My experience at Kable Academy Web Development bootcamp was a great one. I come from a First Responder background with no coding experience, and I felt like I got solid instruction and resources to succeed. My instructor always went above and beyond to make sure I understood the curriculum, even stayed after class to answer any questions I had. What really drew me to this particular bootcamp was they have an Income Share Agreement (ISA) which most of the bootcamps in this area don't provide. The ISA was better for me to be able to really focus on the material instead of stressing about the high interest rate loans from Sallie Mae or Skills Fund (no offense to those companies). We were given multiple projects to put what we learned into action, which I loved because that's how I learn is to actually do it! Also, the projects were relevant to be able to showcase them on our portfolio to show companies what we are capable of. They provided job prep like mock interviews, resume assistance, and advice to be a great candidate for companies. Overall, I would definitely recommend this school if you want to set yourself up for success and learn to be a Web Developer.

The Kable Academy is hands down the best place to start a career in Cybersecurity. My experience with the Kable Academy has fundamentally changed my life for the better. Doors have opened that I never imagined. I credit all this success towards the incredible staff at the Academy. The lead instructor, Richard Barnes, is a man I look up to and consider to be one of my greatest role models. He has practical knowledge and experience in the field of Cybersecurity, which I believe is the biggest thing that separates the Kable Academy from other IT boot camps. Not only are you learning about the material at hand, but also gaining wisdom from people who have walked the walk and talked the talk. The Director of Education, Chris Ellison, is the main driving force behind the Academy’s success. With his ingenuity, he found instructors such as Mr. Barnes that work alongside other staff members to help students find jobs. People such as Dennis Hurley, who work in career services, do not simply help graduates find jobs, but instead finds careers for them that they can flourish in. I would not recommend any other boot camp besides the Kable Academy, hands down.

I graduated from the 6 month cyber security course in March 2022. The instructor was very nice. But they didn't teach me anything I could not learn myself. It literally was a book club. All I got was an ITF+ certification. I am not interested in tech anymore. 
I am stuck with a $15k ISA and no employer takes this place seriously. Their "job assistance" is laughable. Some tech companies that I was doing well with would suddenly lose interest in me after my career person would contact them. Then after some life changes, they basically ghosted me. They will try to pay you to post about them on your socials, script and all. I have never felt so stupid in my life. I thought, stupidly, this would be my way out of manufacturing jobs. And now I'm still working those jobs, but now I've got an ISA.  Read less
