(TL;DR: If you are not the kind of person who can self study religiously and figure everything out from free resources, this is a very good option.)

Before starting Epicode's Full-stack Web Dev course, I had a little coding experience. It was very helpful, just because it let me focus on high concepts, while some of our classmates were struggling with syntax. It is true that you can take the course with no prior coding knowledge. HOWEVER, it will require a lot of commitment on top of the already rigorous curriculum to keep up.

The pace of the course is very fast. I did it while working a full time job and slept on a few hours a night for half a year. They actually recommend not doing so, but since I had financial problems and previous coding experience they made an exception for me. The teachers really want you to succeed as do the TAs. You could, in theory, learn everything on your own, but I highly doubt it could be done in such a short amount of time and with the large amount of experiential wisdom the teachers regularly dropped on us, to help us avoid common pitfalls. Both the front end and backend courses were surprisingly thorough, considering the pace, and my final project is something I am genuinely proud of.

If you are a one issue voter and the thing you care about is the employer partnerships, then you might want to pass on Epicode (unless you are in Italy). However, what they lack in network they more than make up for with coaching, resume refinement, and job board leads. The thing that will get you a job is the fact that if you can hang on and keep up to the end, you will be a competent, professional full-stack developer with a portfolio of several impressive projects.

One of the other things that I realized after having joined was although it lacks the depth of comp sci background that you would get in a university, in the program you code so much that you have much more actual coding time than an average computer science graduate!

I know it's a bit of a cliche to call these sorts of things life changing, but it really was.
I graduated from University in a Computing related field, but never used my degree. I had studied the totally wrong thing, and ended up stuck in Hospitality related jobs. There was one thing that I enjoyed about my course- the module we had dedicated to programming.

I mulled over taking a programming course for years, but life always got in the way. Eventually, after getting made redundant due to the pandemic and a run of bad mental health, I decided to take the plunge and just go for it.

Mornings were usually spent in a lecture with the afternoons dedicated to practical homework. It was tough, and some topics took longer to master than others but it was always rewording doing my own research and finding solutions to things. Teachers and teaching assistants were always just a message away if we required any assistance.

I met some wonderful people during my time on the course.

I got really lucky and landed a job offer before I graduated, so I haven't had as much experience with the job assistance side of things, but I still receive messages from them from time to time to ask how I'm getting on :)

Again awesome experience, I knew little or nothing about programming before attending. It felt like  a university, very knowledgeable teachers who ready to help you every step of the way till and after graduation . The environment felt like a community because everyone was willing to help as soon as you reached out. My course colleagues were great, we looked out for one and another and made sure that anyone that was struggling was brought up to pace, like our own internal team, I really loved that.
Very intense six months that changed my life forever, you get the knowledge, technically, tools e.t.c that will shape you to become a professional developer/engineer. The quality of the teaching is top-notch and the curriculum is great. I was really skeptic at first when I saw the reviews online, how could be that after six months someone who had little or knowledge about programming could be a professional software developer without having a computer science degree? I joined the full-time data science batch from February to September 2022. Overall, it has been a great and rewarding experience that led me to a job offer 3 months after graduation!!!
Teachers were dedicated, patient, supportive and did their best for us to understand the material. We also had daily QA sessions where you shamelessly ask any question to clear any doubts you might have. 
The thing I really loved was the good balance between theory and practice. A typical day is divided into lectures in the morning, lunch break, coding, coding, coding and QA session to close the day. So be ready to roll up your sleeves and work hard :) It was not uncommon to work sometimes over the weekend to complete assignments or projects.
Career coaching is also something positive I'll like to mention. We got trained on how to write a good CV and cover letter, how to prepare for interviews, and even had interview simulations to put it into practice. During the job hunting period, you get assigned someone from the career coaching team to help you with any questions you might have.

I was a little sceptical at first but I had totally changed my mind after finishing the course. You might be a good self learner with uncountable resources on the internet but the experience is incomparable. Working in a team with coding is totally different from working alone. There are many ways to implement the code and you will learn a lot from others.  The schedule is really intense if you have no prior experience in programming before. Let me start by telling you that you get the best out of this bootcamp if you put a lot of effort into it. The 6 months of learning will be crazily intense, they will be throwing at you a lot of theory and expect you to put it into code, and at the end of every module you will need to build software using the tools you have studied about during the previous weeks. The teachers and the people in charge of helping you landing the job afterwards are all young and energetic, and they take their job really seriously. Fellow students and alumni are gonna be an actual resource for you during the course. You will make great progresses, personally I felt like there was some backlog because there really is a lot of stuff to learn, but if you are willing to spend a couple evenings or a weekend to catch up, or ask your teachers for some help understanding something, they will provide you with everything you need to master the topic. It all started around August last year, my husband introduced me to Strive school, As he knew that I was interested in learning new technologies, especially Frontend development.
What I really liked about Strive School is its level of dedication to making its students learn and understand the concepts of web development. I did the Fullstack web development. From start to end my experience was amazing. Best teachers I ever had. Each one is specialized in one area and they know well what they’re doing. I can say I never been so focused in class as I did in Strive, the way the day is split with live lectures in the morning and homework in the afternoon makes it very engaging. I 100% recommend for who is starting. I just suggest you practice a bit of javascript, html and css before, not much, just have some notions.
