When I started back in March, I didn't know what I was getting myself into. The material was straight forward and easy to follow along for the most part. However, I faced a fair share of challenges along the way and even considered quitting due to hardships. I'll admit it wasn't easy to stay focused, but then I remembered why I signed up. My why became the motivating factor which led me keep going while pushing beyond my comfort zone. Now, I'm saying it's going to be a cake walk. You get what you put in. If you're still undecided, I would highly recommend giving Day0 a go—it was the best decision I ever made.

First week in & just motivated to keep going. The sooner I complete, the sooner my new career begins. I watch the informative videos, take notes & then the quiz. I took the two courses that were offered and thought they were well taught by very knowledgeable teachers. They were always there and willing to answer any questions I had about anything related to the courses. I came from a retail background, but also a bit of computer knowledge, and learned a lot. The second course was more in depth about actual cybersecurity and prepared me for taking the CompTIA Security+ exam, which I passed on the first try. I finished in January and have been looking for a role in cybersecurity ever since, with Day0 instructors helping me along the way.  Read less

Hi, ever since I started yesterday I knew that I was on the right track and path to the cybersecurity team world. I really enjoy the curriculum and break down of computer jargon and languages. It doesn’t appear to be too difficult to comprehend and I appreciate the stand by crew members who are only a phone call or text or email away. I’ve been fascinated by/with computers for years now and I too would someday would love to build computers. It’ll be fun some day to be able to be on the end of the phone call or visit or even merely sitting behind the desk helping with computer problems.
 I think it shouldn’t be too difficult being that I learned how to maneuver big tractor trailer’s alone. That’s another big issue at hand in solving problems and remaining alert.

So far I like Day0's bootcamp for a Cyber Security Analyst. I'm a 38-year old single mother who only has a background in retail and healthcare. I started Day0 3-weeks ago and so far I have learned so much about the inter-workings of a computer and what each part does that I didn't think I could learn. I finally reached the courses for the fun stuff and I'm excited. I like that the courses are not long. I can complete the courses in my own time. Start and stop when I need to for notes, or to follow along when entering commands. I also like that theres a short 3-5 question quiz on each course and it gives your grade and feedback immediately. I did get stuck on 2 concepts but once I either kept going or re-watched a course, I understood the information. So far it's going great! Read less

The only institute that worry's about you. Every step of the way you have me tors to assist and guide you. There's no chance of you not completing the course because you are able to move at your own pace. Don't pass on this opportunity if cyber security is in your wheelhouse.  Read less

Coming from a change of careers from airplane mechanic or just a mechanic in general for 10 years I was very nervous to try something new but after making my decision with day0 , the fundamentals courses have gave me a very positive and easier way to understand how many things in the IT world works. I’m excited to continue learning more and more every single day and I’m very happy I have made the decision to continue with day0. I really struggled on my own with things because the textbook doesn’t break anything down. The mentors however are clear, break things down, and give real-world examples for so many situations. The quizzes also really help me figured out where I need to focus my attention and give me a much better idea of how the process works. Read less

I signed up for Day0 over a year ago and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The program took a little while to get used to but the instructors and mentors really helped. In particular Matt was an amazing mentor and helped refer me to my first job. I strongly recommend Day0 if you’re thinking about signing up.  Read less

I wouldn’t waste your money on this program. It’s literally just someone talking and quizzing you on three basic questions — you can easily learn the same things (and probably more) on your own.I originally left a positive review because they promised a $50 Amazon gift card (and honestly, who doesn’t love Amazon?), but they never sent it. They clearly just wanted good reviews to boost their image. Unfortunately, I can’t go back and delete my original review, so here’s my honest opinion now.The only thing this program seems to be good at is marketing itself. If you want to learn how to create hype and sell an idea, pay attention to their social media strategy — that’s where their real skill lies. But if you’re hoping to actually learn something valuable, save your time and your money. Read less

I don’t have any experience in IT, so at first it was kind challenging to understand but overall it’s amazing tutors to help you along the way and the material is not complicated after all. It’s self taught and self paced so you get to make your own schedule, but you definitely have to be on top of things. Read less

I have started the cybersecuirty course and it is great way to get started in your career. Very step by step instructions and the assignment and instructors keep you engaged in the courses. I am just getting started but feel very knowledgeable about what I am doing and what to expect from the Bootcamp. Read less
