As a beginner UI designer, there was still a lot that was not clear to me in this area before this course, but well-structured classes “put everything on the shelves”. Also, there were practical exercises at each lesson, which helped to consolidate the information passed and keep the brain in good shape. Margarita shared a lot of useful resources and tricks that can be applied in interface design, I think it would take me years to dig up such information. And I am glad to replenish my portfolio with a new project created on the course.
A wonderful experience that I can highly recommend for beginners and advanced designers who are striving to improve their careers and learn something new! Read less

I applied for a scholarship as a person affected by war and I was incredibly happy when Margarita offered to take part in the UI part of the UI & Front-end course. It helped a lot, I got knowledge about basic UX, gained deep UI skills, understood how to work as a freelancer, and saved a lot of useful resources for my future work. All materials. exercises, examples, and vibe were 10/10! The greatest thing was practice, during the course I created 2 projects, received a lot of helpful feedback, and finally got a job just before the last lesson. I started the course with a background in UX design and wanted to improve my UI and frontend skills and knowledge. This course was very helpful for that. At the beginning of the course as a start for our UI Design project.. we also got to learn the basics of UX Design. This course really gave me the tools to get my confidence in the UX/UI field and apply for a job (which I manage to get!). For me the front-end part was really challenging and required focus and patience. The course overall is very educational and well put together and really gives you a boost if you want to seek a job, start out in the field or are thinking about freelancing. • Lo aprendido realmente vale la pena y mucho. El material esta bien presentado y el contenido del curso es correcto. Abre un montón de puertas y expectativas para que cada uno pueda ir explorándolas luego. Sin dudas en otro lado un curso asi suele costar unos buenos $, y poner tu tiempo a disposición sin ninguna condición es algo muy valorable.
• Respecto del enfoque esta bueno como para romper un poco con la lógica de las típicas apps. Si yo tuviera que cambiar algo seria tratar de dejar algún día en el medio como para poder trabajar en los entregables que creo que es lo que nos costo a la mayoría.
• Creo, y hablo por mi, que para los que somos de otros lados es complicado pagar un curso de este tipo ya que los euros nos resultan muy costosos y nuestros salarios son bajos. Estuvo todo impecable. Es mucho mas que una introducción al mundo de la UX y generas un trabajo para tu portfolio, ¿Qué mas podríamos pedir?
• Desde Rosario, Argentina ya cuentan con un User Contento mas que se llevo una grata experiencia de Cyber Patio y de su gente. Sin dudas cuando visite España al menos los invito a tomar un cafe.
• Y por ultimo te pido disculpas porque tal fue la locura laboral (trabajo para una ciudad y esto del covid nos tiene a mil)  que puedo haber saltado y olvidado algunos pasos.

I can’t say enough about this UX Challenge course! I was really inspired by the course, and the quality of instruction, not to mention the opportunity to dive in and create a project that could genuinely make a difference. In a few short days, the class covered so much useful information, and provided a rich context for anyone looking to get into the field of UX/UI design. There were so many resources offered, and so much support and opportunity for feedback—it was really a game-changer for someone like me, who is just getting started! Our instructor, Margarita, made so many opportunities to support each of us, and we were all really motivated to share our input in group discussions. My rating of the 5-day UX challenge from Cyber Patio is 10/10! Both the content of the course and the way that it was explained were very correct. It was value content with real application, and they perfectly explained the full UX design process, from the research techniques to final testing, going through the whole product creation process. The way of explaining was very clear and understandable. 
What I liked most was the professionalism and motivation of Margarita, the trainer, and how she encouraged us to start creating and sharing our progress with the rest of the students, and the generosity to offer herself to check our projects. What I liked the least was that the course ended.
To finish, a thing that I LOVED was the focus on the solidarity topics, I think it is very necessary to put the tools we have as designers to the disposal of the people that may need them the most, thus helping to improve the world, however little it may be.

In 5 days I could understand the basics of UX and UI by solving a social problem and implementing it on a digital solution.

El #5daychallenge de Cyber Patio me pareció súper completo para el poco tiempo que tuvimos. 
Se aprendió una cantidad de conceptos, términos y herramientas de manera entretenida. El material era bastante visual, conciso e intuitivo.
Lo que más me gustó fueron los tips de nuevos programas, plugins, páginas de investigación para estar al día y herramientas.
A parte de todo me pareció excelente trabajar en retos con enfoque solidario dónde se puede utilizar el ingenio y la creatividad en ayudar a otros. Sobre todo en estos momentos tan difíciles, que nos deberíamos ayudar los unos a los otros y así salir adelante como sociedad. Así que hacen una magnífica labor no solo enseñar y darles herramientas a profesionales a ser mejores sino también apoyan causas sociales.

I am a total beginner but felt immediately comfortable among designers and coders from a host of backgrounds. The atmosphere in classes was quite personal and I always felt I was recognize and supported in a lovey, individualize way. The Foundation HTML, CSS and JavaScript course was an excellent introduction to the frontend. Our tutor was great, dedicating a significant amount of time and effort to help us enter the world of coding.

As someone with a background in graphic design and an interest in frontend, I was able to learn a lot and confirm my passion for this field. The pre-course materials provided us with much information and learning, allowing us to understand certain tools and principles before diving into the coding part. This helped us consolidate our knowledge with the tutor's guidance.The result of the class was the creation of an individual portfolio website, and I appreciated the fact that everyone received support for their unique designs, and assistance was readily available when needed.
Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone curious about HTML, CSS & JS, and seeking a guided introduction to the world of coding. Read less

I completed the Foundation HTML, CSS & JS course and I'm v. happy with the results. 

The tutors really put you at ease, John was super skilled in his craft and taught classes in a way that made everyone feel comfortable with space to still be silly, have a laugh, make mistakes, and ask foolish questions. The Cyber Patio community is a great community and the Foundation was amazingly tailored to us visual folk who think in colours and begin to panic when we see numbers (surprisingly all of us in the class). 

The pre-course is quite a lot of work so make sure you've factored that into your schedule before the course begins, it was very informative though and really allows for you to already have familiarised yourself with concepts so that you understand the terminology your teacher is using from Day 1. Another thing I liked about it was that the school really care about you getting value for money, and know that you can teach yourself coding to some extent using websites with free tutorials. Knowing that, they work hard to give a human touch to the learning experience and allow you to dive deeper into it then you would be able to in the same amount of time if you were learning alone (unless you're a prodigy or a technology wiz). Recorded classes are great to refer back to, along with all the other material, so you have a kind of permanent record of what you learnt. 

By the end of the course, I had fleshed out a portfolio website for my illustration work that is almost complete and I'm really satisfied with. The progress from pre-course to now was amazing and I learned so much considering that the course was only 7 weeks. As someone who loves learning and being in a "school" environment, I found it to be a rewarding and fun experience, and it has definitely inspired me to look into this field and related jobs in more detail. In my case, I did this course out of curiosity and because I'm kind of addicted to learning. I had a design and little coding experience but this course just stepped up the game. However, I had a job in a different industry, but it's always good to gain some skills.

Regarding the course, Margarita starts the UI Design part with a very organized way of understanding and organizing your workspace when designing websites and doing them smoothly and responsively. After that, Sofie and Milton gave us all their coding tips and knowledge so we could develop our designs. To be honest, if you follow the prep course you'll have the confidence to dig into the course even if you have no experience at all. 

Also, I'd like to do a massive shout-out to all the resources and links they gave us during the online classes and even off-classes, they were really helpful and helped me navigate pretty smoothly through the whole thing.

The UI & Frontend course was a really nice course for anyone looking to start with web design and coding. The instructors are great and were happy to answer questions and offer support, which for the coding half of the course was especially important. The group size was small it was easy to have discussions and not feel lost even though it was online. There is a pretty thorough pre-course material that introduces important concepts and programs like Figma, which it's important to complete ahead of time so you can make the most of the rest of the course. The coding half was quite intense so I recommend giving yourself enough time to complete the homework tasks so you can take advantage of the help of the instructors. You also get access to all the slides & recordings which I found super valuable to be able to go back and rewatch when I've been working on real-world projects.
