By my own experience - and the reviews you can read here - it's clear you either love it or you don't.

The entry barriers are not kind. It's a lot of money and the application process is long. More importantly, it also serves as a filter for people that would not easily fit within the bootcamps rhythm and demands. Some people find a way to go around it, others cheat through it and find a way into the bootcamps anyway. That's the easy part.

The bootcamp does not guarantee you a job, a successful career or even a semblance of a future. It gives you as much as you give yourself to the classes and day-to-day struggles.

It's not easy, nor should it be.

I really liked the experience. Had a great class, great teachers, made relationships and memories I'll take with me for life and I can say with absolute certainty that more than 90% of my colleagues feel the same way.

Will I have a job as soon as I step out of the campus? Probably not. But I have the tools, knowledge and confidence instilled in me by the bootcamp to help me achieve it sooner than later. Read less

Before I rolled on the bootcamp I had heard impressive reviews about it, people describing that was a life-changing experience. Naturally, my expectations were set sky-high. However, I couldn't help but feel a mix of concern, nervousness and suspicion, wondering if the reality would live up to the glowing reviews. Fortunately, the bootcamp not only met but exceeded all my expectations. 
The experience was crazy and immersive, creating an environment that felt like a second family. The camaraderie among participants were palpable, with everyone offering assistance and support to one another. The teaching staff was nothing short of exceptional, possessing not only top-tier technical expertise but also outstanding social skills. The campus facilities were top notch, contributing significantly to the overall positive atmosphere.

Fulfilling experience with amazing staff and teachers. With only 14 weeks the depth of the knowledge you acquire from the very root of how a computer functions working through several abstractions makes the whole learning experience way easier as the weeks pass by and the difficulty increases. I don't say this lightly, the 14 weeks spent here is something I never guessed would be this life changing. I feel like this was the school I wished I had as a kid. The openness and care for the students all of the staff have is something that's hardly seen anywhere else. The classes themselves were structured really well, I feel like I went on a learning journey along with my classmates, starting from the basics of the basics to real world tools we use everyday, no class felt like it didn't belong, they all felt connected and helped us understand what came next.  Read less

I joined this challenge to start a new life and to rebuild my skillset in the professional world. What I found during and after the bootcamp is that I can no longer see the old me, meaning the mission was accomplished.

The overall experience through the bootcamp was smooth but quite fast. I felt like a moving train that never stopped. As long as you are inside, the trip is gonna be held by the teachers and they will get you where you need to be.

It's really important to state that hard work is still needed as the course goes over 25 skills and technologies and most of them are quite complex and hard to get at first glimpse. Read less

Has someone who dropped out of university and always loved technology, this bootcamp was the best thing I believe i could of found, you learn a lot of Java, some Javascript and enough of css and html to make you want to learn more, and adventure into the job world as a full stack developer Read less

I took part on this intensive  and crazy Bootcamp, and have the pleasure to  get to know a lot of crazy  people.

The Bootcamp it self ,  is very Intensive , but also very rewarding,  what  you learn here is actually what you need to be able to  learn anything about  programming , like good practices and other computer Languages, ill recommend every one  that want to  enter the Branch  to do it. Read less

I attended the bootcamp shortly after finishing high school. I also did a 1 year course in acting. I can say that the amount of fun I got from learning through Academia de Código is on par, if not more than my acting course. While the amount of different things I learned is on par with multiple years of high school. You don't just learn a language in which you can program. You learn what makes a good programmer and you're given the tools to explore that. If you want the success that this course promises then you need to take it full on and remove every other distraction from your day to day life. Some people couldn't do that and so they cruised along the course and didn't amount to much. Others (most) are now working in the industry alongside other people who spent multiple years in university and earn the same while providing equal value. Actually, I would go as far as to say that A.C. produces alumni that provide even higher value because we're not taught in old fashioned ways of the university. We're taught the essentials and our motivation and drive does the rest. Read less

There is quite a bit more to say about the bootcamp than meets the eye, or that can be summarized in 200 words, though It definitely is not the run-of-the-mill bootcamp. Pretty intensive, with a lot of theoretical and practical exercises throughout, it is a Journey through the basis of early computing, Object Oriented Programming, Functional Programming, Framework Integration, Troubleshooting our own issues, GOOGLING(important skill) and even glancing over proper presentation etiquette. If you are not in the programming space and would like to get in, or just now starting your programming journey and want a boost in your learning, I highly recommend Academia de Código for all ages. In this bootcamp you will learn a variety of popular programming tools to help you re-insert yourself into the job market as a full fledged Full-Stack Developer. 
They also have the care to teach you good practices for constructing and expanding your projects (Clean Code). 
You will also make a lot of new connections, as you're not alone in this run, my experience was great because of all the colleagues I've met in here, you will share the frustrations and glory of developing applications and software.
And to add the cherry to the top, they will help you setup a curriculum and help a bunch with job seeking post-graduation.

I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot but don't be overconfident, because finishing this bootcamp is only the beginning! Read less
