Bosscoder Academy

I was just fresh out of college when I joined Bosscoder. I had not joined a company then so I wanted to learn the relevant skills which will help get into a product based company. I decided to join Bosscoder as I needed a structured curriculum which will help me start my learning journey. 


Classes began with the CS fundamentals then we moved to DSA and System Design. Classes were easy to understand. The instructors taught everything in detail and cleared all the doubts in the live sessions. The important questions were present on the platform which 
I used to practice after taking classes. My mentor Sankalp guided me on which role to go for and what techstacks I should work on. 

The consistency and hardwork made me proficient in DSA. I solved 400+ questions on Leetcode. I am currently working as SDE at Amazon. The upskilling journey at Bosscoder gave me the right direction and I was able to land up at Amazon.

I got placed in the Data domain at Epsilon. I was working as ETL Developer at Infosys for 3.5 years but failed to grow in terms of skills and package. I had been working on ETL but wanted to learn skills like SQL and Python. I found these skills in the Data Analytics program of Bosscoder so I decided to enroll in it. Live classes were useful as I could grasp the concepts related to SQL and Python. I felt motivated to learn as I had a roadmap set by instructors for each topic. The mentor was helpful with giving honest feedback on my progress. I built the right projects as per profile which increased my efficiency in using Python. The doubt support was decent as it helped me with the right solution when I felt stuck in any problem. The placement team took LinkedIn and Resume Optimization sessions. I made changes in my profile as per their feedback. It was a game changer as many recruiters reached out to me after that. I got the opportunity at Epsilon through that only. I interviewed for other companies and got offers from there as well. Overall, the course was worth the money. I would suggest if you wanted to transition to a better role and willing to work on your skills

I learnt about bosscoder when I had just started working with a startup. I wanted to learn concepts related to DSA and System Design. I realized I needed guidance on how to approach these concepts. I checked out Bosscoder’s course and I found it interesting. I decided to enrol into the program.




The content in the classes was good, the instructors explained concepts of DSA and System Design in an easy manner, especially the HLD part. I really liked the classes of High level design. My mentor Himanshi guided me well on what important concepts to cover for the real life interviews. Having one on one guidance from the mentor played a huge rule in improving my profile. I made sure I was consistent with practising questions after every session.




I was able to get two offers after learning DSA and System Design from Bosscoder. It was my consistent effort to upskill that contributed to this achievement. I have started working at Simform as a Full Stack Engineer. If you plan to learn upskill, I recommend joining Bosscoder.

I wanted to share my detailed review of Bosscoder Academy based on my personal experience. I joined their Data Engineering program while working at Deloitte USI (where I spent about 4.6 years) because I wanted to strengthen my fundamentals and make a career move into a better role. After completing the program, I successfully switched to KPMG India with a solid offer, and I can confidently say that Bosscoder played a big role in that transition. Course Structure & Learning Path One of the things I appreciated the most was the structured curriculum. Instead of jumping randomly between tools and concepts, the course follows a clear roadmap:

• Foundations: SQL, Python, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
• Big Data Frameworks: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, etc.
• Workflow Orchestration & Cloud: Airflow, AWS/GCP services like S3, EMR, Glue, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.
• System Design for Data Pipelines: How to design scalable, production-grade pipelines instead of just “toy” projects.

This structure helped me connect the dots between concepts, instead of feeling like I was learning things in isolation. Hands-on Projects Every module was tied to projects that resembled real-world use cases – batch + streaming data pipelines, building ETL frameworks, working with Spark on cloud storage, and even designing end-to-end workflows. These weren’t just academic exercises; they gave me strong talking points for interviews and helped me demonstrate practical knowledge. Mentorship & Guidance The mentorship was probably the biggest differentiator for me. The mentors were industry professionals who not only clarified doubts but also explained the “why” behind design choices – for example, when to use batch vs. streaming, or how to optimize a Spark job. They also kept me accountable, ensuring I stuck to the learning path. The doubt-solving sessions were consistent and genuinely helpful (not rushed or superficial).Placement Support & Interview PrepBosscoder does provide placement support, but for me, the real value was in the mock interviews and feedback sessions. Practicing interviews with experienced mentors gave me confidence in explaining my projects and tackling system design/data engineering questions. This preparation played a huge role when I interviewed for my next role.OutcomeThanks to this structured learning, projects, and mentorship, I was able to make the switch from Deloitte USI to KPMG India with a good offer. More importantly, I now feel much stronger in my fundamentals and more confident working on data engineering challenges in my day-to-day role.

I recently attended a masterclass on AWS for Data Engineering with Simran Ma’am at Boss Coders Academy, and it was an excellent experience. She explained complex AWS concepts with great clarity, making them easy to understand. Her teaching style is engaging, and she provided practical insights that are highly valuable for real-world applications. The hands-on approach and structured lessons made the learning process smooth and effective. I highly recommend her sessions to anyone looking to strengthen their AWS and data engineering skills. I took the Data Engineering course at Bosscoder and here is my honest feedback. 

I was working at Accenture in the Data domain. I wanted to learn more skills such as DSA, cloud technologies and data modelling. I got to know about Bosscoder via linkedin and went to check their curriculum. It was structured and covered each topic in depth. 

I enrolled and actively started attending their classes. Simran, our instructor, explained topics such as SQL in an interesting manner. I used to make notes and revise so that I stay on track. I took mentor sessions around different complex related Python and SQL. This approach of learning at Bosscoder helped me become proficient in such skills. 

Due to my understanding of complex topics, I was able to clear technical rounds at LTIMindtree. I got placed at LTIMindtree as Senior Data Engineer. If you are looking to upskill in Data Engineering, Bosscoder is the right place.

I felt stuck at my job at TCS and wanted to join a better company. I wanted to learn concepts related to DSA and System Design so I decided to enroll into Bosscoder. Live sessions were quite good. I was able to understand topics like graphic and dynamic programming in an easy manner through live sessions. Using approaches learnt in the live classes, I was able to solve questions in less time than before. I solved 400+ questions during my learning journey. Bosscoder played a huge role in my career switch story. I joined their program aiming to become a strong Java Developer with a focus on Spring Boot, Microservices, and scalable backend systems.

Coming from an Integration Developer role at TCS using IBM ACE Toolkit & ESQL, I always wanted to move into core backend engineering. Bosscoder not only prepared me technically but also gave me the confidence to express my experience in a way interviewers understood.

If you’re planning to switch to backend-heavy roles (especially Java + Spring + Distributed Systems), Bosscoder is absolutely worth it.

I had more than 7 years of experience and was working as senior technical lead when I got to know about Bosscoder. I had been struggling with the concepts related to DSA and System Design. I had learnt about Bosscoder and its benefits of live sessions and getting mentorship sessions. The structured curriculum aligned with what I was looking to learn so I decided to enroll.

Live sessions were decent. I got structured notes and assignments to do after each concept was completed. Prateek took good DSA classes. Sujoy from Walmart took our System Design classes which helped me learn each concept in a detailed manner. I used to go to Chat GPT if I had any doubts while resolving questions. My mentor took my mock interviews and pointed out a few areas where I could improve.

I enrolled as a mechanical engineering student, I was struggling with being confident and Consistent along with the issue where my resume and profile was not getting shortlisted. I tried in all the top product based and medium tier companies no replies, Then I talked with alumi's of different courses and searched for review online and Joined Bosscoder Academy, I started from scratch and followed their process along with the course they also helped me improve my profile and resume that helped me land a great salary, also recently after their suggestions I made few changes in my linkedin profile and received messages from HRs of top product based companies like google, microsoft, amazon, flipkart.

Ever since I started my BCA, I had this vision of becoming a SDE. While I was preparing on my own, I felt like getting connected to a platform will help me learn the relevant and practical skills. As I had not enrolled in Btech, I wanted to make sure I am not missing out on anything important. 

Bosscoder’s upskilling program looked like the right fit for me as its curriculum covered relevant topics. I enrolled and the program started with live sessions. Live sessions were decent. I was allotted two mentors for one on one sessions, one from Amazon and one from Atlassian. Both of them provided me with feedback on where to improve
I was able to clear the technical rounds of a company called Riverhead Software. After that, I shifted to Palmonas as SDE. Bosscoder and its resources were a great support in my journey of becoming a SDE. I was able to shift to a product based company as SDE. If you are consistent with the learning process, you can achieve what you aspire to.

Through youtube I came to know about Bosscoder Academy. I had a detailed discussion with a counsellor after that I took admission in their Data Science program. I was literally very serious about the placements, I used to discuss placements with their team and maintain above 95% attendance. Solving questions on a daily basis with the help of mentors.

Mentorship sessions are exceptionally well. I used to get to know about my level of understanding through mentor sessions.I took two mock interviews, one for python and another for SQL. Which landed me a Data Scientist role with a double digit annual salary.

Tired after a day of work, I was scrolling instagram and I found about this upskilling program of Bosscoder for tech professionals. I was intrigued as I had been wanting to switch my job but was not able to figure out a way to do so. I took a leap of faith and enrolled into the Evolve program. Live sessions about DSA were explained well. One on one sessions with the mentor provided me with guidance and a right path to follow. I used to have mock interviews with my mentor which helped me gain confidence. This confidence transitioned into a real life interview and I was able to switch to Salesforce. I was working and looking for a switch. That's when I came to know about Bosscoder through a youtube video. The curriculum is good, initially I was scared of DSA but because of Akshat’s classes now I like to solve DSA problems. The best part for me was the mentorship sessions, my mentor was Ritul, he guided me in every step of my career. I took help with salary negotiation as well as for interviews with product-based companies, which helped me crack the offer.
Till now I have learned advanced data structures and algo and system design and so far the experience is good.

I joined Bosscoder in August ‘24 mainly because of getting a better job. DSA taught by Akshat, his way of teaching was too good. He was teaching at a good pace but I grasped every topic as a way of teaching that was easy to understand. After those lectures I was able to solve advance dsa questions as well. Mainly dsa helped me crack interviews of Rings and c4Scale/Gojek.
I got good use of the course as I made a good streak and got to learn system design.
You need to convey your goals with clarity to your mentor to get fruitful results as I was getting guidance from my mentor. It’s just that you need to have some development knowledge before joining them as I felt the course is not for freshers.

I just switched companies and wanted to be in touch with my studies, specifically data structures and algorithms and system design. I joined Bosscoder. I came to know about them through a LinkedIn post of some topics related to dsa only. I got to learn advanced topics of dsa with an impeccable teacher Manish. I used to clear my doubts at the end of the class itself. For me the two best things that I got from bosscoder is clarification of dsa topics and mentorship sessions.  
My mentor was creating a path for me to switch to companies, that is one of the major factors that I have received an offer with more than 100% salary hike.
You need to have some basic knowledge of software development as their curriculum is more focused towards product based companies prep.
