I really love the overall approach to learning, where theory and tests are mostly left for independent study. Because of that, there’s more time during classes to go over practical applications and various details or nuances of the topic. This makes me much more motivated and interested in learning, without drowning in theory.
I’m also genuinely impressed (in a good way) and motivated by how interested the teacher is in our learning, as well as by how well he understands us — when it’s time to take a break, go over a topic again, or spend more time on something, etc.
So slacking off, even if you really wanted to, isn’t an option :) Read less

I took a course Front-end Development back in Ukraine in 2020. I have to mention I used to work for IT Step Academy (Акадкмия Шаг) and deliberately chose the Beetroot Academy to learn Web. Previously had a little experience in learning by myself, I attended the physical School in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Region, Ukraine, my teacher's name is Valerii Honcharuk. After 4 month of the intensive learning I got a lot of experience and after graduation managed to find my first IT job in Ukraine, and currently working Abroad in Canada, as Web Application Analyst. I also have Master Degree in Computer Science but the University gave me a lot of theoretical knowledge, but the Beetroot Academy gave me a lot of practice and I am so grateful for this, you are the Best School!  Read less

My choice of Beetroot Academy can be considered a combination of external factors and a comparison of conditions with courses from other schools that I considered. And as it can be understood, this comparison was in favor of Beetroot Academy. But let's go through it all step by step.
At first, I chose another school, but I encountered a bad sales manager who initially promised to meet me regarding the cost of the course, as at that time I couldn't afford to pay for the course in one payment. And then he even suggested taking a loan to pay for the course. Since the characteristics of IT courses concern only the teacher, the program, and the final results, and sales managers are not related to this, I will skip the name of the school.

So when this option fell through, I started looking further, and I preferred Beetroot Academy precisely over Projector due to the following factors:

• longer duration of the course (4.5 months compared to 3);
• broader program and more workload on the course (Beginner and Middle level topics, 2 two-hour lectures/practices on weekdays + 4-hour practices every Saturday as opposed to only Beginner level topics and 2 meetings of 2 hours);
• choice of your own topic for the graduation project (instead of the whole group creating different variants for a real client based on a specific task, which the client paid for, to have the graduates choose his task, as it happens at Projector);
• not the least reason was the work of the sales manager, who provided me with the level of service that was not in the first failed option and the usual communication with the sales manager from Projector, whose interest in getting me on the course was not felt.

Moments that I liked on the course:

• support from the academy throughout the course;
• the teacher! Her level of knowledge, ability to explain, interest in the success of students, willingness to help with every question that arises;
• own LMS, where each lesson has homework, several video lessons, and a lot of quality textual information taken from various well-known and not very reliable sources;
• slight changes in the program or individual homework at the choice of the teacher — it was done to give us only the necessary knowledge, based on real cases in practice;
• a well-thought-out process of defending the graduation project and the ability to defend it in English;
• friendly community within the group and overall at the academy;
• the presence of educational events, workshops, and free career counseling for each student;
• cool merch for all students;
• the ability to split the payment for the course into a convenient number of parts.

Moments that I didn't like on the course:

• somewhat outdated links to some information;
• in general, the order of video lectures sometimes confused, and sometimes there was a feeling that the videos were taken from previous versions of this course;
• the teacher's answers to questions about the course/graduation project, even within the allocated time, were long and postponed to another day, despite her online presence;
• minor errors in tests and in some places not very well-thought-out UI/UX in LMS.

I can say that the course completely met my expectations, even despite minor negative moments. As a result, I implemented the final project of this kind: a Telegram bot, to which I connected artificial intelligence (open-source LLM) and implemented the ability to communicate with it (ask questions and get answers) exclusively using voice messages.

I recommend Beetroot Academy to everyone who wants to get a quality base in Python. Read less

Do you know the pain when you have to choose a course and find yourself lost in the ocean of opportunities?  So was I when I decided to switch UI/UX Design career. I am no longer a yang person, so the mistake for me is expensive. The first five stars go to the manager of Beetroot Academy, who answered my endless questions and made sure that my goals matched the academy's curriculum. Then I started the learning journey. 

I like learning generally but I loved those 4 months specifically. It was no long theory lectures: you just had the interesting task in hand, tutor help and mentoring, deep dive sources, and student community support (by the way our course has been keeping in touch till now and I love our chat, thanks, guys!), English practice, job seeking coaching,  progress checking, group and collaborate work and a lot more. 

In the end, you find yourself with a decent newbie portfolio, solid hard skills, immersed in the professional community, and a clear vector for the next career step.  Thanks a lot to my tutor Halyna Tryfonova, thank you, my classmates, and thanks to Academy for endless after-graduate opportunities: mentorship (Lesya Gumenyuk, *heart*, I took from you advice and reviews a ton!),  English practice, online and offline students and graduates meetings.

I would like to thank Beetroot Academy for the time I spent with them as a student of UI/UX Design course. The great thing about this school is that after finishing it, you can still be part of their community, they ran great events, such as portfolio or linkedin check by the professionals, mentorship program, english speaking club, community meetings etc. I find it very inspiring that some students that have already became proffessionals in their field stay with the school as mentors. My name is Yuliia Drahomaretska and I am very pleased with the recent courses I have taken! For me, the Front-end development course was a life-changing experience. I felt like I gained a lot of useful knowledge and skills.
First and foremost, I'd like to thank the entire working team. They were both extremely professional and knowledgeable, as was my teacher, Oleg Marchenko. He not only knew his subject well, but he could also communicate that knowledge with enthusiasm and interest. He created a welcoming and encouraging environment in which every student felt free to ask questions and interact with teachers.

Second, the course curriculum was well-organized and covered a wide range of topics. I became acquainted with all of the topic's important aspects and gained practical skills that I can apply in my professional activities. Because the courses were based on real-life scenarios, I was able to easily understand and adapt to practical tasks. The teacher's pace of the material is insane, so if you think it's easy, you're mistaken:)
Third, I was provided with relevant literature, video lessons, and online platforms, all of which greatly aided my learning process. I am grateful for the numerous practical tasks and tests that assisted me in consolidating my knowledge and monitoring my progress.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a super useful UI/UX Design course, and I can confidently say that it has been a game-changer for me. From start to finish, this course exceeded all my expectations and provided me with an invaluable learning experience. Next I would like to share my thoughts.

First and foremost, the course content was meticulously crafted and covered every aspect of UI/UX design in great detail. The teacher Katerin K. had a deep understanding of the subject matter and presented it in a comprehensive and engaging manner. She provided a perfect balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, allowing me to grasp the concepts effectively. Throughout the program, I had many opportunities to apply what I learned through challenging case studies.

The course platform (LMS) itself was user-friendly and intuitive, making the learning experience enjoyable. The modules were well-structured, and the videos were of high quality, ensuring that I could follow along with ease.

So, I'm grateful for all the experience I have gained during this course. Now I continue to improve my skills, deepen my knowledge and work on my portfolio. And I'm sure that sooner or later I'll get a desired job offer for the role of UI/UX Designer!

My feedback on training at the Python developer course will consist of two reviews - directly about Beetroot Academy and about the Teacher. After all, you need to understand that the academy organizes the educational process, selects the teaching staff, and the teacher already teaches. So let's start)
Beetroot Academy creates a warm, friendly, honest atmosphere. My choice at Beetroot Academy among other academies was because I was not promised to become an "Aitishnik" after completing the course (who believes in such slogans, I have bad news for you :) ), before entering, it is necessary to pass a small test, after with whom the manager will conduct an interview (even before the start of training, you understand that they are communicating with you, and not responding with "mock-up" phrases). During the training itself, I did not have any organizational issues with the academy, because all information was provided in a timely manner, which allowed me not to be distracted by other issues, but to focus on what was learned. But, as they say, "there are no questions only in two cases, when everything is clear or nothing is clear", and the academy understands this, and the manager-curator of the group, Tetyana Pokotilo, periodically addressed questions about the "comfort" of training (a special thank you for that, who was always in touch and quickly responded to questions). Therefore, I can say with confidence that Beetroot Academy is a very well-organized structure, has a unique experience in the organization of education.
The academy also supports students who, for certain reasons, interrupted the course (due to the military operations in our country), and were able to continue in another group and successfully complete their studies.
Separately, I wanted to highlight the teaching method - when you work out the theory before the lesson and come to the lesson already prepared.
As for the teacher (perhaps it was my "fear" before studying), I was very lucky :) because my teacher was Fadi Ahmad! The knowledge that Fadi shared with us is simply amazing and, personally, motivated me to learn, seek more information and strive to develop. Separately, I would like to highlight the skills of a teacher - the ability not only to convey information clearly and succinctly, but also the ability to listen and understand students. The most impressive thing (as far as I understood it was Fadi's trick, not the academy's strategy, if I'm wrong - sorry :)) is the performance of small tasks in groups of 2-3 people, which teaches you to think in a team, to solve a problem by discussing and consulting with students, while the teacher is always in touch and will help if difficulties arise.

I would like to express my special thanks to the English teacher (yes, you will have 16 separate English lessons at the academy) Anna Karalazar.

Summarizing the feedback, I would like to add that after the course, you will not be left behind - because the academy has communities that help with vacancies, improve your English and provide useful information for your development.

I would like to tell you about my experience studying at Beetroot Academy in the UX/UI Design program. These four months of courses were very intense but extremely useful. During this time, I gained a lot of new knowledge and practical skills that I can use in my future career. 
Each lesson was well organized and structured. In addition, I want to add that our teacher was great. She was very professional and competent, and ready to answer any questions at any time. I benefited from her knowledge and experience. 
What I particularly liked was the practicality. The curricula include many assignments that do not allow students to gain practical skills and experience that are fully in future employment.
Another aspect I liked about Beetroot Academy is the strong community. It was here that I found like-minded people and made useful connections, which inspires me to further professional applications. I am currently participating in the mentoring program. 
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my studies at Beetroot Academy in the UX/UI Design course.
