Avocademy’s core program is an 8-week UX/UI Foundations course. Each expert-curated lesson in the curriculum builds on the previous content, helping students gain the knowledge and skill required to land a Junior UX/UI Designer job in a relatively short time frame. The UX/UI Foundations lessons consist of video and reading material. After learning key concepts and best practices, students test their knowledge by completing activities rooted in real-world UX/UI deliverables. Throughout the 8-week course, students complete an entire UX/UI project from research to high-fidelity prototyping and testing.
Students receive unlimited one-on-one mentorship each week to gather feedback on their project work and to ensure they have a strong understanding of the course material.

The bootcamp was great. I really enjoyed how the price point was good and that I learned pretty quickly the ins and outs of design. Also, it being self-paced allowed me to work when convenient. Learning by doing is much more practical than sitting in some lecture for hours anyway. I'm doing Jumpstart as of this review but that has been good so far as well. The only complaint I have is though the mentors were great and incredibly helpful, it was at times very frustrating getting your work...The bootcamp was great. I had one person tell me to put one thing only to have the next person not even bother to look at what the other person before me said on my rubric leading to lots of confusion. I felt like there was no standardization when it came to reviewing work at times. Each mentor wanted something different at times and understandably so but I feel like there should be some checklist instead of it feeling like one person giving totally different advice than someone else before. A very worthwhile experience
I really enjoyed my time in Career Jumpstart. I definitely feel like I developed a lot as a UX designer and got a good idea of what it is like to work as a UX designer. The fact that you work on real client projects is awesome, and I developed a great portfolio that helped me to get a job. I think the structure of the course is good. They do a lot to make sure you understand what is expected of you, and they also make sure you have the necessary skills before you start working on client ...I really enjoyed my time in Career Jumpstart. I definitely feel like I developed a lot as a UX designer and got a good idea of what it is like to work as a UX designer. The fact that you work on real client projects is awesome, and I developed a great portfolio that helped me to get a job. I think the structure of the course is good. The mentors in CJ are wonderful, and they give great guidance on how to stand out to recruiters and write an impressive resume.

Guided, Helpful, Informative
This was a great bootcamp and I could not be happier with the result. I was way too exhausted physically and mentally from my job to be able to learn UX design on my own and it was incredibly helpful to have a curriculum laid out for me to follow. It was also great that everything I learned was directly applicable to real world scenarios and there was no fluff material. This is a terrific program. For the cost, the value might be the best out there. I was able to schedule unlimited mentor calls and could reach out for feedback at any point during the bootcamp. There is also a great community, which is super helpful for networking and not feeling alone in the process.

Great experience with Avocademy Foundations!
I recently completed the UX/UI Avocademy foundations course and would recommend it to anyone wanting to build their design tools or transition into the UX/UI field. We worked our way through a project that hit on the ins and outs of research and design with continuous help from mentors along the way. I am now enrolled in the Career Jumpstart program, and am hoping to transition from graphic design/fine arts to UX/UI by the summer with the Avocademy team's help. Encouraging and Exciting!
The foundations course was overall a great experience. The mentors are really nice and encouraging and are in your corner. I loved how they give you more than just the answers to your questions, they provide extra tidbits of advice when it comes to the tech industry and best practices in designing. If I were to change one thing I would want more mentors to be available, its very common to schedule a mentor session 5-7 days out before, and its shows why they are booked so often! Be prepar...The foundations course was overall a great experience. The mentors are really nice and encouraging and are in your corner. The best hands on experience I could ask for!
I was lucky enough to join Avocademy's boot camp and learn about the UI/UX world. The mentoring helped me grow and gain the confidence to switch careers! I later joined their Career Jumpstart program, where I could work on real client projects. Doing this gave me the experience I needed to step into UX. More than a bootcamp!
Avocademy feels more like a community of supportive design mentors and colleagues than a bootcamp. Yes you have to work hard and fast and yes you have to have dedication to do well. But, I felt supported and encouraged the whole entire way. I had access to mentors to ask about the work of designers, design tips, and review of my designs throughout the course. Worth it
I completed the Foundations Course and Career Jumpstart with Avocademy. The best part of the program is how accessible everyone is. There is unlimited mentorship and guidance throughout the entire process. The foundations course sets you up for a great basis for career jumpstart. I would highly recommend doing both and following their curriculum. I started the program in April 2022 and got a job December 2022. My favorite part of Avocademy is their career jumpstart program. You get to work with a team of designers on projects for real clients and its a great learning experience. Mentors help you with resume, job applications, interview prep, and portfolio. Overall, it's a great atmosphere with a lot of support and motivation. I'm very glad I took the opportunity to learn through this program. Effective and informative UX design bootcamp
I completed Foundations of Avocademy in July and jumped right into their CJ program. I enjoyed the curriculum and they did a great job of assigning you real life clients to add substance to your portfolio. The only struggle I really experienced was with team members sometimes not holding their own in the projects. They do a phenomenal job prepping you for job applications, interviews, and negotiation. I landed a job after 28 days of applying. Overall, I would 100% recommend this bootcamp...I completed Foundations of Avocademy in July and jumped right into their CJ program.
