prefer self taught over Attainu
During the initial months I felt happy joining here until DSA module, but later on the real trouble has started. 3 instructors were changed for frontend module within in a span of a month, repeating the same theoretical stuff without teaching even a single project, the curriculum seems attractive but the projects were literally skipped by instructors, the instructors here are just with an experience of <5 years. The community managers are unprofessional, they beat around the bush instead of resolving the queries asap. mentors are nothing but the senior batch students who shares the same knowledge as you, sometimes you gotta teach them rather than learning from them. We are sorry to hear about the troubles you are facing.
We can see that you started the course at the end of June 2020 and took a free batch transfer at end of January 2021.- Please note each of our modules is covered by a different instructor. We can see that with your starting batch the first instructor took the DS Algo module for 2 months till the end of August 2020. Then the second instructor covered the Core CSE module and the JS Basics for 2 months. The third instructor covered the entire Front End module.
- We have in a few batches changed instructors in between based on student feedback.
- We focus a lot on practicals in the course ex:- in your initial batch till now (March 2021) there have been a total of 19374 coding submissions.
- All our instructor profiles, including their Linkedin profile we publish on our website for transparency and comparison with other platforms.
- The first batch you started with was 30 weeks, after the free batch transfer your new batch was 36 weeks hence the increase in course duration. Based on placement feedback we keep updating the curriculum, hence the course duration changes from batch to batch.
- For queries, you can also reach out to the teaching head through your batch representative
- Mentors are the toppers from the senior batches who become mentors after clearing a thorough check - same model as in IITs and Stanfords etc. In case anyone is unhappy with their mentor we also change mentors, you can raise a ticket for this.
- Self Learning is hard for everyone and that's where AttainU comes in.
