I’m Anantha Krishnan, I’m a Bsc agriculture graduate and I did work in sales and marketing in an emerging startup for around one year then I did the 6 months boot camp at 10x academy and now I’m working as a software engineer at Zeus Learning.
I left my previous job last December and I decided to prepare for some Govt. or bank exams. I was preparing for a few months but was losing confidence in my career as well as myself.
One of my close friends used to tell me about such companies which offer pay after placement, but I was never in the mindset to look into it.
When I was confused during my preparatory phase after resigning from the job, randomly I saw the ad of 10x on youtube. 
Usually, ads are distracting, but since I was in a hopeless situation, that ad gave me some hope.
Then I researched more about 10x, contacted those who got placement there, and then luckily I was selected for the Bootcamp at 10x.
I would like to say that ad, changed my life.

I was always curious that will I be able to do this?
Am I capable of developing software?
Can I code?

The main understanding I’ve got is that in 1:1 sessions we have to be open to the mentor and derive the maximum. I tried that and I’ve got great results from that practice.
The most useful part of 10x is the direction they provide, the activities, and the problems they give. These were really helpful for me.
In the beginning, I was always rated less in mock interviews at 10x, then I put more effort and later started getting better ratings. Mocks are game-changers I would say.
The placement process was smooth for me, many companies approached through 10x and I have learned my deficiencies in each interview. 10x gave me multiple chances and then I was able to crack the interview at Zeus Learning.
The real estate project was the main project I did here in a group, which is my favorite because those days I used to sit for 10-12 hours in front of the laptop developing it!
Other projects which I liked were some of the projects given during the placement readiness test such as the to-do list. Those gave better insights and more learning in depth.
The final integration module is the one that cleared all my doubts as it made me complete the project and deploy it on the internet.
That is the one which I enjoyed the most.
I really admire many mentors and one of them who gave me a better direction of thought is Lubna mam. She always used to ask thought-provoking questions during mentoring and mock sessions.
 I improved some Soft skills such as teamwork, leadership skills, etc while doing my group project.
After a month I started getting more confident that I can go ahead. I’ll be able to do this!

Before I joined 10x I was confused about how to start an get into software. I thought making a career in the software industry is impossible for me.

My name is Lokesh Laxkar, and I am from Kota, Rajasthan. I completed my b.tech in computer science in 2020. 

So, after college, due to corona Crysis and my lack of proficiency in coding and programming. I could not land a job in an IT company.
