Overall I am really please with Codeworks' Web Development Immersive bootcamp. Codeworks' curriculum is structured into several phases, each targeting specific skills and knowledge areas that gave me what I need to break into the industry. Here's a breakdown:Pre-course (remote): Students begin with a 60-hour preparatory course covering the fundamentals of programming, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This phase ensures that all attendees have a baseline level of knowledge before diving deeper.Main Course (I did remotely): This phase is the core of the bootcamp, lasting 8 weeks (12 weeks if you do Software Engineering Immersive). It is divided into two main sections:- Junior Phase: Focuses on foundational web technologies like JavaScript ES6+, React, Node.js, Express, and SQL & NoSQL databases. It also covers essential concepts in software engineering such as data structures, algorithms, and version control with Git.- Senior Phase: Shifts focus towards more complex topics, including security and authentication. If you go for the software engineering immersive, you'll also learn about DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment, which are highly valued in the industry.Projects and Hands-On Learning: The curriculum emphasizes real-world applicability through project-based learning. I went through one solo project, but if again if you are on the 12 week program, you'll get to experience 2 more group projects which  really helps simulate real-life scenarios and working in teams to develop functional web applications.Career Services and Industry Preparation: The bootcamp concludes with intensive job preparation workshops. These include mock interviews, portfolio development, and networking strategies, tailored to meet the demands of tech employers.

While the remote option is convenient, being on-site is recommended for the full experience and the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals. I recently completed an 8-week Web Development Immersive coding bootcamp that was truly transformative. The program was incredibly intense, with 12-hour days dedicated to mastering coding skills. The rigorous schedule pushed me to my limits, but it was worth it. The challenges presented during the bootcamp helped me grow immensely as a coder. The daily coding challenges tested my problem-solving abilities and allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical way. Overall, this bootcamp was a demanding yet rewarding experience that significantly enhanced my coding skills and prepared me for real-world development projects.

I would have never imagined that so much learning time would have flown by so quickly, I was immersed for the 2 months of the bootcamp in coding, even coming from a little web dev background I learned so much not only specific coding but also overall web and mindset.The teachers and tutors are always happy to help.

Codeworks bootcamp is a great learning experience and one of the best I've ever had.They didn't lie when they said it would be an intensive working experience, coding more than 10 hours a day, 6 days a week is a thing you will do. Although you will be doing this having a lot of fun bacuse if the well structured Curriculum and a very supportive staff and TAs. You will be amazed by the progress you have made and the skills you have gained and most importantly, the skill of learning how to learn and keep developing on your own after the bootcamp.I totally recommend it for the serious students who want to shift carrer to web development or enhance an already exists skills that willing to put the effort and the commitment needed to nail it

 Amazing learning experience. Great lectures, comprehensive syllabus and very helpful staff. Career support is also super useful. 

I attended this course on 2017. I wanted to switch career as I studied Finance.  It was an excellent investment because at Codeworks I found great teachers and amazing classmates. Thanks to them I learnt things that would require probably years of hard work. Codeworks gives you the right tools in order to learn fast and in the most efficient way. I totally recommend it because after the course I was ready to work in a company with a competitive salary.
