Web Development: Full-Stack Developer

I started from scratch, and graduated with tons of information... Shout out to every single person working at Code Academy Berlin, they do their job with passion, and as a graduate I definitely felt that!

My experience with Code Academy has been great with full of learning and fun. The course is full-time and curriculum is detailed which gives you a good learning opportunity for the prevalent tech stacks in the tech market. The mentors were very professional and had the knowledge of the tech stacks. They had been super helpful when it comes to practical projects. Highly recommended. 

I remember my first day at CAB well. There had been a bit of disorientation in my life (my company didn’t survive Covid), and to be honest, I wasn't even sure if coding was for me. But the day started and while I was getting to know everyone, it was exciting too see that Lucas and Jost and back then Ottavia were exactly how I had pictured them from the short info on their company website: a bunch of friends putting their heads together to make a company of their own, a place of learning and challenging oneself, but also a place of fun and connection.  As for the content: the technologies taught were exactly as specified in the course curriculum. Remarkably, almost everything covered by the course proved to be relevant afterwards in my first job.  Regarding the learning environment, I want to highlight two conditions provided by CAB that, in my regard, impacted my progress the most (I went from zero to Junior developer level): 1. On-site learning with max. 5 students per mentorTo me as a beginner, nothing was more challenging than training myself to not get frustrated with the very frequent errors breaking my code. Being able to talk to my mentor once a day to keep the struggle positive and get help solving the problem was a real game changer for me. 2. Fabulous mentoring As a mentor, Lucas did an excellent job, notably when explaining any problem regardless its complexity with precise and short rhetoric. His approach to not give us solutions, but to assist in finding solutions ourselves was top-notch mentoring.

I had an incredible time at Code Academy Berlin. I want to give a special shout-out to my mentor, Raul, who went above and beyond to support me throughout the program, even working overtime to ensure I had the guidance I needed.
The bootcamp curriculum was well-structured and allowed me to dive into exciting technologies like React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Firebase, and more. The hands-on projects and exercises provided valuable practical experience.
What made the bootcamp truly outstanding was the supportive and collaborative environment. I had the opportunity to work alongside talented classmates and mentors who shared the same passion for learning and growth. The positive and friendly atmosphere made it a joy to be part of the program.
I can't recommend Code Academy Berlin enough. It's an excellent place to expand your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and engaging setting. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience. 

I highly recommend the Code Academy Berlin. The curriculum is well-structured and covers a wide range of topics, from HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript to more advanced concepts such as Typescript and GraphQL. The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and experienced. The class size is small, which allows for personalized attention and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Overall, the bootcamp provides an excellent learning experience and equips students with up to date skills they need to land their first job in the tech industry.
