Web development bootcamp

It was a complete course, appropriate for anyone starting and that gave a good preparation to keep progressing in the area. Its main focus is JavaScript, but it opens doors for more specific areas, such as Database Management, API built and others.

I was a student at WCS and didnt like it at all!!Its a waste of time and money in my opinion (IMO).The best thing i took from this experience was that (a) i wont ever again pay to study (unless my employer requires it), and (b) i dont like how the standard IT companies work, but even that you can search and find on the web - just like it is!With 4000-5000 euros you can do WAYYYYY more than what you will get after your bootcamp at WCS, IMO. For instance, you could take online courses (way cheaper than popular / expensive bootcamps) at your own pace via1 - https://www.freecodecamp.org2 - https://www.skillshare.com3 - https://www.udemy.com4 - https://teachlr.com5 - https://www.tutellus.com6 - https://www.floqq.com(just to mention a few)If you are joining an in-person bootcamp cause you wanna hang out with some people, you dont need to pay 4000-5000 for that. Just contact your friends and/or use social media to gather a bunch of people who´d like to join you on some online learning journey :)Also, if you are taking the bootcamp because of the final certificate, it wont be necessary at all to get a job - virtually all employers will make you some quick tests to attest your knowledge before you get hired. Moreover, many online courses also grant certificates.And believe me, by taking your own learning path instead of enrolling in an expensive bootcamp you would save enough money for a 1-3 week awesome vacation in some of your favorite destinations.Feel free to contact me if you want further personal views on WCS/coding bootcamps and the IT world. If you want to make a career change, enrolling in this Bootcamp is the best decision!You will learn, gain confidence, gain network and manage your time, patience and frustration! Be aware it is intensive! They will help you with your job hunt! 

I started my software engineer journey in september of 2020 with a course at Wild Code School. From day one (and even before), I've been put in great position, knowing that a lot of work is needed but that I have great people around me to help me. The tools developer by the school are really helpful but it's really the people who are great. From the instructors, who are always here for you, and the campus managers, who help you with everything non-code related, all the way to your fellow students, Wild Code School create a great environment, both serious and full of humanity.

Amazing atmosphere, very good teachers and a very nice community. It was a life-changing decision to study at this institute. I went from a two-year job frustration to doing what I love for the rest of my life. We prepared projects for real clients, theyhelped me prepare my CV and my Linkedin professional profile, and they also collaborate with the students in the search for job opportunities. I already delivered 5 freelance frontend developer jobs just 5 months after graduating and I’m looking gradually for a full time position at the moment.

Wild code School is a good training program to reconsider your career as web Developer. It goes straight to the point to learn things to perform and be hired by companies in needs in your local area. But things don’t come easy, you need to work and be curious as the job itself requires. Structure is good and helpful anytime you needs them. I highly recommend !

 They teach you how to build a robot, and how to not be one.They are open, they listen and they follow their students cases individually.They care about your progress, as long as you care about it too

Actuellement en formation à la Wild Code School de Nantes, on a super formateur, une campus manageuse au top et une plateforme en ligne (Odyssey) ou les développeur de celle si sont a l'écoute des demandes des Wilders ( élève de la formation ).la formation propose différent format d'apprentissage :- Quêtes : cours sur la plateforme Odyssey contenant de la théorie sur un sujet en particulier ainsi que des exercice pratique a réaliser sur des site comme CodeSandbox, CodePen ou encore Repl.it- Dojo : petit atelier de groupe en compagnie du formateur ou nous écrivons du code tour a tour pour répondre a une problématique donner- live coding : le formateur nous fait une démonstration de code sur un sujet tout en nous faisant participer- cours : le formateur nous fais un cours sur une notion souvent vue dans des quêtes dans les jours précédent- projet : par groupe, on nous donne un sujet et nous devons réaliser un site respectant un cahier des charge
Toute journée se commence par un daily stand up ou chacun fais un resumer de comment il a vecu la journée précédente et ce qu'il envisage pour la journée en cours. Chaque jeudi ce daily se fais en anglais.A la fin de chaque semaine on fais un retrospective de la semaine.

A la Wild Code School, on nous enseigne à la fois le métier de développeur, mais aussi à être autonome : on apprend à apprendre ! Cette méthode pédagogique est idéale pour le métier de développeur, et permet de poursuivre sa montée en compétences tout au long de sa carrière. Le rythme est très intense,  et nous force à nous dépasser, à donner le meilleur de nous-même. L’ambiance est très conviviale et bienveillante. La Wild Code School est une  très bonne école que je recommande vivement !

I had the wonderful opportunity to join the Wild Code School in March 2020 and despite the unexpected confinement, I had an unforgettable time. Whether from a human or technical point of view, I came out of it a grown-up. Indeed, between the beginning and the end of the training course, it's day and night.Confinement obliges, what was partly planned was transferred to telework and the means, tools and measures implemented were for my part very satisfactory. Unfortunately, this could not be the case for everyone, especially for those who were caught unawares.I also had the opportunity to work and learn with a great team (trainer and students) and they are now my new professional family.Throughout the training the staff was very available and met all my expectations. Another important point is that once we return to the Wild Code School, we are part of the network, for life!

When I decided to become student to the Wild Code School, the campus manager ensured me that he was 100% sure about the quality of the training and about the fact that it would bring me actual opportunities. Now I finished the cursus and I have to say it was true. I feel ready for my new career, I learned an incredible amount of new things in 5 month, not only technical skills but also about myself and the developers culture. I came to WCS because I wanted to learn React and Javascript ES6. They exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy for what I have learned in this small amount of time. 

Started the bootcamp 2 months ago and I'm literraly amazed by the word I'm able to produce. I learn how to work/learn and how to teach to others to. Learning web development is a little part, learninig how to colaborate and work properly is the biggest and at WCS you'll learn this 2 parts. 

I really enjoy my formation time with Wild Code School !! all staff & teachers was really present for me!! For technichal or proffessionnal support, you can always find somebody to help or advise you. With the Covid19 crisis all things were done to maintain courses & formation quality

J'ai suivi la formation developper web à la Wild Code School et c'etait une super formation.Des projets, des hackathons, des live-coding, des formateur et une communauté au top !Tout est mis en place pour nous faire apprendre vite et dans une ambiance très agréable :)

I did the React training at Wild Code School in Lyon and it's one of the best investment i ever did. The teachers are very concerned about helping their students, i felt massive improvement every weeks and have a better understanding on how to manage a digital project using SCRUM,  how to do mockups  and how to it. 5 stars

I am very happy to do my training at the Wild Code School, I like the approach they have to education. Lots of new experiences like Hackathons, master classes and more! I had the misfortune to start just at the beginning of the Covid 19 health crisis but I find that the school reacted well and adapted perfectly to this challenge despite these difficult times.
