I decided to invest in Ironhack bootcamp last year after great recommendations of few of my friends. Unfortunatelly the whole experience in my case was not something I was expected. Even though the content, projets, and daily classes were great, our course was not well organized. Our main teacher Juno Jo (I will always regret we couldnt enjoy classes and final project with him - he was the best!) had to leave the group due to personal issues. He was replaced with TA which obviously was not good change for the whole group. The same thing happened to our Teacher from Career Weeek that left her position before we finished the course. Another issue I was not happy with was the Career week. I took remote course, Miami based while I lived in New York. I made sure before deciding to take this particular course that the job offers shared with won´t be based only in Miami. Unfortunatelly that was the case. I finished the course with great result with 1st place in final project. I was motivated to find a job/internship but after fighting half year with junior position I had to give up and find job in another field. I think my case: remote course, change of two main teachers for TA, increment of junior positions after post covid was was something common between Ironhack students but I think fair enough to post my experience.

Working with Jimmie Solomon Jr and Leo Wang made it easy to absorb a TON of information during the accelerated online course. I'm excited to keep growing! I would recommend this course to anyone looking to find a jump start to a new career in UX/UI design.

Brainstation has one of the best online training I have attended. Having to be trained by Master in class trainers went a long way in building my confidence level in UX design. If you are looking for a program that will boost your professional confidence BrainStation is your best bet

The curriculum and teaching during the BrainStation UX NYC program was great. The instructors had a lot of industry experience, which I found to be valuable. Sometimes the instructors gave suggestions about my designs that I didn't really agree with that I think ultimately hurt the final product. Overall, the staff and instructors are very dedicated to their job and seem passionate about helping people. BrainStation provides you with a lot of TIPS and MOTIVATION in the job search but they cannot guarantee you a job (despite their website marketing.) They are pretty hands off when it comes to career searching. You have to work really hard during and after the bootcamp to get one! The same goes for just about any bootcamp. The market is incredibly saturated with bootcamp designers and what you do during the bootcamp dictates your success after. BrainStation is a good learning point for UX.

The course provided great insight into UX realm and covered all the aspects of the design field. The tutors were great in imparting the information within the syllabus and highlighted great real-life examples. The coursework allowed us to work within the necessary spaces we would need for a future career and the group made it very easy to both receive and provide feedback within each class. I would highly recommend this course for those who are working full-time but would like a career change to work within the UX world.

I was a preschool teacher unhappy in my career before I found the UX/UI bootcamp at Berkeley. I had a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology, and I wanted to switch careers into a field that would allow me to use my degree. After extensive research, I found the UX/UI Design field and felt a calling to make a change. I looked at many bootcamps and websites offering certificates in UX/UI Design, but the one offered through UC Berkeley stood out among the rest for the career support offered. I was ecstatic when I was accepted into the 2022 cohort. The experience of UC Berkeley's UX/UI bootcamp was challenging, fun, and absolutely life-altering for me. I gained a confidence and excitement towards my professional life that I hadn't felt in a long time. I love knowing that I'm on a career path now that feels like a passion. The instructional staff was engaging, extensively knowledgeable, and motivational every step of the way. I found my strengths and weaknesses in the course and really appreciated the coding aspect towards the end. It gave me an edge to be equipped with the coding basics, and even though it was challenging, it was also fun. The advice I would give to anyone considering the UX/UI bootcamp at UC Berkeley is to keep a positive mindset in the thick of the challenges thrown your way. At the end of the course, you won't believe how far you've come. I'm so glad I took this course. It's completely changed my life.
