I completed the WBS coding bootcamp last year because I wanted to take my first step into programming. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the worst investments I’ve made. Most of the material covered things I already knew, and I didn’t feel like I actually learned anything new. The only instructor who really stood out in a positive way was Bashar — he was knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about some of the other instructors, who often struggled to answer basic questions from the class. There were 12 people in my group, and as far as I know none of us ended up getting a job through the program, even though the bootcamp advertises a “job guarantee.” In reality, that guarantee didn’t mean much and didn’t lead to actual job opportunities.Another issue was access to course materials. We were told we would have lifetime access to the videos, which seemed like a very reasonable promise. Recently I contacted them because I lost access after switching laptops, and they told me they changed their policy and that we no longer have access. That felt very misleading. The career services were also disappointing. At one point the entire class raised concerns about an instructor whose knowledge seemed extremely limited. Instead of addressing the issue or providing another instructor for that session, the school dismissed the complaints and did not offer any compensation or solution.Overall, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this bootcamp. As a former student, I feel the program did not deliver on several of the expectations that were set when we enrolled.
