SheCodes Basics

It was really fun re-learning web technologies, most especially JavaScript. Going back to the basics was so refreshing, thank you so much for this opportunity. I learnt so much, new ways of coding things as well as better understanding the way things work.

SheCodes was my first real step into the world of technology and programming. My goal is to become a developer and transition into a new career. The first workshop was a fantastic experience, and I'm excited to dive into the next one!

Enrolling in this coding course has been a transformative experience. The courses are well-structured, covering essential concepts in a way that's both engaging and easy to understand. The instructors are knowledgeable and incredibly supportive, always ready to clarify doubts and provide real-world insights. Since starting the course, I've gained confidence in my coding skills and developed a deeper understanding of programming principles. SheCodes coding workshops, which conducted by Matt Delac with his supportive team, powerful AI coding Assistant (SheCodes Athena) and all useful resources truly assist me to upskill my hands-on experience and knowledge in HTML/CSS & JavaScript, which are the core skills required for front-end developing in web-development arena. Thanks a lot for this amazing online teaching, guidance and on-going support given to all ambitions, tech-savvy women over the world, including me! Kudos to Matt & SheCodes team!

Going on board on the SheCodes journey, I was initially apprehensive about diving into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. However, the course structure was so well-paced and the lessons remarkably easy to grasp. I never felt overwhelmed, which was a pleasant surprise! I especially enjoyed experimenting with CSS gradients and found the provided snippets and tools incredibly helpful in bringing my project to life. A huge thank you to Matt; his teaching style is truly simplified and clear, making even complex concepts feel accessible. I'm now genuinely excited and looking forward to exploring more with the upcoming SheCodes courses.

What an absolute adventure! I cannot wait to learn more during the next sections.I want to be the best possible version of myself and this course gives soooo much detail, that I can truly understand what I am using and why. Joining SheCodes Foundation has been a life-changing experience. As a Basic Web Developer, I’ve gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the detailed teachings by the amazing  instructor  Matt Delac has helped me grow in confidence and creativity. I'm excited about my future in tech, and grateful for the opportunity to learn and thrive with SheCodes.

I had fun learning everything about HTML,CSS and JAVASCRIPT and i also got to create my own landing page which was very challenging but also fun and i can highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to start a career in tech , trust me it's worth it

The material was presented in SUCH a digestible way! It was straightforward enough to understand, but not so simple as to be boring. And there was just enough of a challenge that I had to Google things. A engaging and educational workshop!

I really enjoyed doing this SheCodes basics course. It was broken down into simple lessons and tasks and was super user friendly! I had absolutely no experience in any sort of tech but the course still managed to break down the content into manageable, understandable chunks and I had a great sense of accomplishment after finishing it! Would highly recommend!

“This was a bit challenging as someone who has zero tech experience but I pushed through and I’m happy with the knowledge and skills I’ve gained thus far.” I loved the fact that the learning videos from Matt weren’t ridiculously long and so that helped ease the anxiety over the information that was received. I loved the course. Despite being online, I found it very practical, easy to learn and very appealing and motivating. The videos are concise and convey the necessary information clearly. No doubt I will want to learn more through shecodes, I had already tried other courses but none had captivated me so much and it had been as easy to learn as this one.
