SheCodes Basics

This is the best coding workshop, I have taken. Really easy to follow and the help you get when you need it is great too. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try something new or has been interested in doing so but can't take that leap.

I had absolutely nil idea about coding before I started learning at SheCodes. But at the end of three weeks, I had enough knowledge on html, css and js to create at least a basic webpage. I do not know of any adjective that qualifies how good SheCodes is.

I cannot describe how happy I am feeling at this moment. From zero knowledge, Matt took me by the hand and up to now (building my own page) my transition has been amazingly smooth. SheCodes Basics is a great introductory workshop offering a healthy challenge, especially for a complete beginner! The classes and their corresponding exercises are very well structured. Additionally, the course supports its students with an automated AI tool and assistance via Slack from professionals in their respective fields. Thank you, team!! 

SheCodes was a great experience for me! SheCodes is a hands-on coding bootcamp for women seeking to broaden their knowledge in coding. They offer four courses, each targeted towards a skill range you mean to achieve, and at an affordable cost! I joined the SheCodes Basics course (first of four possible courses), wanting to know more about what coding is and how it works,  and I realized this is something I enjoyed, and also something I could possibly shift careers to. The team at SheCodes made learning FUN and offered so many resources for course knowledge and interaction with other students in the course. SheCodes Basics course offered discourse in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I liked that the course was structured clearly, built to help you succeed and able to be completed at your own pace. Learning to code seemed intimidating and difficult only a few weeks ago. I am so glad to find the SheCodes Basics course! As someone with no coding experience but with a keen interest in pursuing a new career as a Frontend Developer, SheCodes has been absolutely fantastic in providing me with a foundation to build my knowledge and techniques. There is such a strong and friendly community of women and I've really enjoyed learning in such a supportive environment. I thought this was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was presented well, easy to understand and broken down into bite size chunks that helped me move forward and grasp the basics fast. I look forward to learning more.

I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to get an introduction into HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT. Great course to find out if you are interested to learn more and dive into the whole front-end development. The course is easy to understand and suitable for anybody without any background in coding. The things I loved about this course were being able to set my own pace to learn, and having an excellent instructor who explained everything very clear. Thank you Matt!
