SaaS Sales Foundations

I’m an account executive with nearly a decade of experience, now, of SaaS sales. I started as a BDR and moved into Bus Dev Manager, then AE. I took the SaaS Sales Foundations Course at the request/recommendation of a trusted friend, who was an SVP of Sales at the time and had hired me. After leaving that org, we both kept in touch. He knows Christine Rogers, trusted Aspireship was valuable, and recommended their course as a better way to get into job opps and interviews. After all, that is what Aspireship advertises…After passing the course, 6 weeks went by and not one of the companies listed in “my matches” had even opened my file/account and looked at my info. Essentially, Aspireship doesn’t have any active clients, hiring Aspireship’s grads. I reached out to Christine - she ultimately felt a little guilt and got me an ad hoc interview with an org she obviously just had a friend at. They interviewed me, then told me they weren’t hiring - just holding convos. Weeks of time, WASTED while I should’ve just been applying for more jobs, directly!!!DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ASPIRESHIP!!!!! That’s all you’ll ever do, with them….aspire!!!!!

I was laid off with a sales background and wanted to get into tech.  But companies told me I didn't have a background. So I found a building block to help me with that communication and understanding of the space. Jake Thibodeau told me about this place. I was a bit skeptical, not having a college degree, I needed whatever edge to help me stand out while applying. I am glad I signed up. The content you take in is solid. But the support and community you get is A+. They are always looking at how to offer more, which comes from adding new courses, webinars, job placement, and community.  If you get laid off, you can return, and they will help. You can also take what you learn and find a role on your own. But when you have support, it is easier to achieve your goal. P.S. The way Christine Rogers's shows up on courses and webinars are 🔥. She has so much passion and conviction you can tell she inspires and lights people's worlds on fire.  

 I have worked in the education space for 10 years both inside and outside the classroom, but always wanted to find a way to break into tech. After doing some research, I found the Aspireship program. As you can see on Course Report, their courses are highly rated. I decided to jump in and take the course for the very reasonable asking price they ask(which was great for me on a teacher’s salary). In short order, I found that the high ratings for the course were well deserved.I found the curriculum and videos at Aspireship to be very engaging, easy to follow, and gave vital insights into the industry. Like any online course, you get what you put into it. So I suggest taking notes and reviewing info if you struggle on the quizzes. By the end of the SaaS sales course, I felt like I knew a lot more about the industry and whether or not I would enjoy the the industry(that’s worth the price of admission in my opinion).The one time payment also gave me access to all other courses on Aspireship. I completed the Customer Success course right after the sales course, which was great. And since I joined, they have added two completely new courses, and I have access to them! I’m really impressed with the value they have given me as a customer.Then there is the job assistance. I completed the course just when all of the tech layoffs began to happen in February 2023. It was definitely not the best time to try and break into tech, as there were very few jobs and a massive supply of unemployed tech workers all vying for those jobs. It is job assistance, not a job guarantee. However, my advisor Ana always kept me updated with market trends, possible job opportunities, and hopped on a number of calls to help me prep for the job search or for specific interviews. I’m very grateful for her help, and again, this was all included in my one time fee. I continued teaching at a school and searched for jobs on my own at the same time until recently. In May, Aspireship was able to connect me with a company for an interview, and after a couple of rounds of interviews, I was lucky enough to get the job! Without Aspireship, I would not have the content knowledge or the connection necessary to get this job.With Aspireship, you get what you put into it. They give you all the tools and support necessary to make that break into tech at a very reasonable price. I’m very grateful for their help and encourage anyone truly driven to break into tech to go with Aspireship. 
 

The SaaS Sales Foundations course offered through Aspireship was integral for me to gain insight in to the creation and functions of a sales pipeline, and the daily tasks of and SDR. The content is organized, easily digestible, and engaging for anyone looking to prepare for a role in SaaS sales. Post-completion, I was given options and was well prepared for interviews by the candidate experience team. The team was quick to help and always available to connect. Patience is important, and the process requires effort on the candidate’s side, but it is a great experience and definitely worth it. 5/5

Aspireship was a wonderful experience that sharpened the skills that I already had as well as enlightened me on the world of SaaS and tech sales. Corey and Christine made the lessons insightful but never boring. The role play was my favorite part. I was able to handle objections effectively using what I had learned and Skip Miller's timeless ATL/BTL methodology (Skip is also a guest instructor). Ana in Customer Experience was the shining star however. She was with me every step of the way with constructive feedback and recognition. When I landed my new role she was equally as excited as me. What a LEGEND!

Read this before purchasing !Life-time access doesn't include any upcoming courses !!! So Life-Time Access actually means acces to only one or two courses ! Overall don't expect that there are plenty course materials. You will need to pay again even higher price. Note that this Bootcamp doesn't inform you in advance about any scoring methods in advance and only after your Final Assesment even if you were good enough it seems that, it is expected that your audio/video recorded answers should totally match answers of their coaches which you see only after submitting yours, even if you have solid experience in Sales and own stlye in approaching customers. Another point to keep in mind before going further with any purchase, they don't tell you that there is special rubric/grading system which they use to evaluate your assesment and that only 10% applicants to be included into graduate hiring network.  Also note that quiz questions are very simple , but tricky in terms of common sense. As for courses some of them have too much "water" and very less real cases, repetitive terms, words and experiences.Overall, doesn't worth the pricing. Dissapointing experience. You can get plenty of valuable courses for such price on different platforms.

Aspireship made it so easy for me to learn the background knowledge I needed to break into the world of SaaS sales. I was a teacher with no real sales experience, and now I work as an SDR for an education technology company.  My coursework with Aspireship prepared me for the interview process as well as the job itself. I was able to complete the coursework quickly and flexibly, rewatching lessons as needed. I really benefited from the lessons on the sales process and buyer's journey. The team at Aspireship is unmatched. They are so supportive and responsive, and give real, constructive feedback. I made it to the final round with an Aspireship partner with the help of the team members. They gave me background information, helped me with the projects, and helped me practice interviewing. Although I ended up being hired with a non-partner company, I don't think I could have done it without the Aspireship team.I HIGHLY recommend Aspireship for anyone looking to change career paths and break into SaaS sales or customer success!

I had a fantastic experience with Aspireship. I'm entering the third week in my new role as an Account Executive at my new company and I couldn't be happier. The team at Aspireship is extremely helpful and they provide great value to graduates. If you're sick of getting snubbed for interviews by resume filters or want to transition into tech but don't have the background, this is the best program to do it through. 

I found Aspireship after leaving a prior sales role (B2C, not in SaaS). I wanted to transition into SaaS sales and wasn't disappointed. Once graduating, it only took about a month to land a job at a great startup.Had an excellent experience with Aspireship's team. You can tell that they're fully invested in your success throughout the process. After passing the final assessment, I was presented with a number of companies that they felt best matched my goals and other criteria. You have something akin to a dating profile where they facilitate a match between you and their hiring partners. If it's a "yes" on both sides, then you move forward with the interview process.Some people complete the course pretty fast, sometimes as quickly as a weekend. It took me longer because I'm pretty thorough and like to review materials and overprepare. Just depends on your personality and situation, really. Beyond the basic course, they have tons of other training videos on numerous topics, including mindset, prospecting, discovery calls, etc. Basically hundreds of hours of training to supplement your understanding of the industry and role.Highly recommend Aspireship for anyone looking to transition into SaaS sales. 

I had to be patient about the time that I was applying for companies with Aspireship but in the end it worked out well.  Summer hours tend to be a lot slower for job placement.  But in the end this company came through.  Not only with placement but resume help, grammar, sales videos and content,  interview help and much more.  If you are serious about tech sales and sales in general this is the way to go hands down.  In a world where many company's ask for money up front or income based % of your salary this company is doing it the right way. 5/5 would recommend.

The course was such a treat! The whole Aspireship team, along with MAGGIE, are phenomenal and a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. I have no prior sales experience so it was a lot to take in, and felt overwhelming at times, but it was very informative and helpful and taught me so much. With over 20 years of service and sales experience, it's still intimidating to begin to explore a new field! It's unbelievable what Aspireship achieves with this bootcamp!!!You get on demand video training by top sales reps.
