Quality Assurance Engineering :)

Last year I decided to change my career, I was looking for something that I could do from home. I worked so many years on sight, I just want the tranquility of my home. I started to look for courses that could give me that freedom, and then I found Tripleten. I had an experience one by one over the phone and I decided that it would be something pleasant to learn. The price was very accessible and It worked for me. You just need to have some time available to study 2 or 3 hours a day, some people are more disciplined, but trust me, I'm not one of them and it still works for me. The support I have from the tutors are awesome, and always when you need help, we have a app called Discord that you can type your issue and somebody will help you anytime, or tutors, or senior students, its wonderful. There are career assistance and LinkedIn assistance also. Don't think just because is online that you not going to interact with other students, we had a meeting very nice over the zoom and was fun to meet and chat with others. Coming back to the course, they provide high quality material and activities, it worth a lot if you like me is looking to change your career. I would be lying if I tell that it's easy, because is not, you need to put a lot of effort to make it happen, read the material, and if you need, read it again and again.

Steps to a new career path.

After having some experience in the tech field and being rebounded by warehouse work, I wanted to take more steps into the field that interested me and move past average customer support and desktop/smartphone support. After doing some digging and research to find my next move to make this happen. I was advertised to "Tripleten" on a social media feed. However, a bit skeptical I did have a chance to research other camps but the course I chose here at Tripleten (Quality Assurance Engineering) had all the courses I needed to become a knowledgeable QA. The reason I chose Tripleten is that while doing my research I did have the chance to sit in on some Zoom calls with other camps but this one was a phone appointment. I had the chance to talk to Ron Schurr personally and ask separate questions from notes I've been taking and its learning curriculum was what I needed while working with a volume-based schedule. I normally carved out 3-5 hours a day or every other day to make sure I digested what I learned and anything I didn't my tutors & community managers always had some answer or someone who can get you what you needed. The course and curriculum is layed out very nicely and its becoming very intuitive. From the time I've spent in the course I personally just enjoy the simplicity, the information is easy to find, the calendars are clear and all the tutors are available at different times to meet everyone needs. Theres always updates in the community discord for career talks & help, Old and active open chats to help you along with each section and there's even a place to find a study buddy. Id also like to highlight my success managers (Vladimir & Irene) these people care and make sure your striving for your goal or help you with any course issues you may encounter. Super friendly. TripleTen has a career program. I haven't completed the program, so I haven't fully dived into the career part yet. But as I approach the end there are courses that explain it has externships and how well just from graduating from here can help you land a job as a QA. I'm confident once I'm done and talk to the career counselors ill be fully prepared to get that job. After explaining all of the great this course and curriculum can bring there are some snags that I've encountered but nothing insanely major. There honestly very little this QA course that needs to be fixed. Just some more visual explanations videos or GIF's and re-structure or wording of some stuff to make it hit home. However, there's already been good changes made and I'm on the last Sprint of the Curriculum. There's no doubt that id recommend this Bootcamp to others "5 Stars"

TripleTen QA Engineering Experience

After moving to a new state and leaving a decade-long position, I found myself with the opportunity to completely change my career. I did some research, looking online for online courses, certificates, or trainings and stumbled upon tech bootcamps! Throughout all of the noise, TripleTen (Practicum at the time) kept jumping out at me; mostly because of the friendly and streamlined graphics and marketing, but also because they made it seem possible more than the others. With two kids under 5 at home and my husband working 6 days a week, I knew I had to find something flexible, and TripleTen seemed to be the right fit! I scheduled a call with a sales person and he called me almost immediately, even though he was on an airplane traveling to see his daughter for her wedding dress fitting! He was super personable and allowed me to ask dumb questions, explaining the answers to them all. He also asked me, "What's your why?" and I immediately realized that not only was I making this career change for myself, but also to secure a future for my family. Solid salaries, flexible working conditions, and a secure job market were all reasons I wanted to make this switch. And since then, nothing has changed! I started with the Software Engineer program and although it was really fun and sparked my creative side, I was worried that I couldn't see myself doing it forever, so I asked my sales rep if I could switch to QA and he made it happen! The QA program was definitely a better fit for how my brain works - I don't necessarily want to design a website, but if you do and you want me to help you make sure it works they way you wanted, I'm your gal. The platform is fantastic! It's user-friendly, simple, and the lessons are straightforward. The projects require some determination and sometimes outside studying, but tutors and instructors are always available to help when you reach out. The community of students on Discord are also extremely helpful and encouraging.  I even found a study group of fellow students who were all in a different sprint than me, but it was so lovely to be able to talk about the topics I was learning with someone who spoke the same "language." And while I haven't done the accelerated career program yet (one project left!), I have really valued the career advice throughout the sprints. I even used a LinkedIn message template from TripleTen to secure my current position! My boss was very impressed at mentions it often. That being said, the program requires determination and it's definitely not easy! You will need to take notes, study hard, and maybe even re-read through some lessons. Basically, what you put into the course is what you get out of it. Although it is a good deal (try to get in on one of the sales), it isn't free, so make sure you give it your all so that you get everything you can!

Exceptional bootcamp for those interested in tech!

I've always been interested in tech, but never knew where to start. After doing research on different bootcamps, I decided to commit to TripleTen. I loved how they offered a platform with other students and tutors to help guide me on my journey of becoming a QA Engineer. They offer a ton of resources and real guidance on how to properly execute each sprint. I am currently a part-time student who works a full-time job. TripleTen does a great job with assisting students on sprints, projects, and honestly anything else you as a student may need! One of my favorite features of this bootcamp was the interactive platform, and Discord community. Being familiar with Discord helped me navigate each sprint along with correlating projects and any resources the tutors and students posted. Everyone in TripleTen is honestly so helpful and personable. I feel confident and comfortable with reaching out for help whenever it is needed. There's no better feeling than getting a project approved and continuing to learn. It has been an incredible journey thus far. Thank you TripleTen!

Great Bootcamp to be a part of!

This 5-month course is a great way to learn new skills with little to no background in quality assurance. I did not come into this program as fresh as some people are due to me having an Associates in Computer Programming and currently working in a IT Support role but there were still some fun and challenging sections. What this bootcamp also did was help reignite my desire to really make this the career that I want to do for the rest of my life.  One of the best things about this program is the students. They are always there to help you answer any questions and it helps you feel part of a community when everyone works to help each other out.  TripleTen also helps you work on your time management skills as each project can be worked at your own pace, but you still have deadlines for each project. It not only provides you the tools needed to complete specific types of testing but they also provide the fundamentals of quality assurance and software testing.  By the end of the program, you can confidently say that you know how to perform manual testing, automatic testing, mobile testing, API testing and more. My favorite project was actually the API testing as I really found the Postman application fun to use and with my current background in IT support it helped me understand how certain things work with my companies proprietary software.  Also, once you complete the program they don’t just throw you out into the woods and wish you the best. They want you and me to succeed in this career, which is why they provide career coaching. I’m in the process of looking for my first job after completing the program and my career coach has been so beneficial in helping me improve my LinkedIn, resume and cover letter.  If you are wanting to find a way to change careers and work in tech I would recommend TripleTen. The students, senior students, and tutors are always there to help answer any questions that you have.

Educational, Supportive and flexible

I joined Triple Ten because I knew I wanted a career change, and I was not sure how to do so, but thanks to Triple Tens curriculum I knew I could make the change! They break things down so simple that you could do it in your sleep and since I am new to the tech world, I knew I needed a program that could do so.  The program is self-pace all online and if you ever find yourself in need of assistance to help further understand the chapter, they have tutors waiting to help you via chat and they also have one on one sessions, which has helped me tremendously in some chapters! I have learned so much since starting in September that I never knew I could do something like this before. I also like this bootcamp rather than other ones that I was searching due to its 6 months after graduate money back guarantee, if you don't find yourself a job within that time range, which was huge major decision for me because IT is new for me, so I knew I needed a safety blanket and Triple Ten helped with that decision. They also have career coach one on one's sessions and career lessons to help you with your LinkedIn so you can get a head start on the job hunt before graduating! Overall, I am glad I made the switch for myself this year, it has taught me to so much that I now think completely different which means I am growing as individual. Thanks so much Triple Ten and tutors for all you do!

New beginnings

Choosing the Triple Ten QA Engineering Bootcamp was initially a nerve-wracking decision for me, especially considering my limited knowledge in the tech field. The catalyst for my career change was the desire to break free from the monotonous 9 to 5 routine, lack of growth opportunities, and a schedule that kept me away from quality time with friends and family. The appeal of a tech career lay in the promise of a balanced work-life equation and the opportunity to continually acquire new skills while refining existing ones for career advancement.Embarking on this journey while working full-time and undergoing a major move from California to Arizona posed significant challenges. However, Triple Ten demonstrated exceptional understanding by allowing me the flexibility to temporarily step away from my studies to focus on the relocation. This gesture highlighted the program's commitment to supporting students through real-life challenges, setting a positive tone for the entire experience. To be candid, the course has been anything but easy. It has presented me with formidable challenges, pushing me out of my comfort zone and demanding a substantial commitment of time and effort. Yet, what has made this journey worthwhile and ultimately successful has been the unwavering support system provided by Triple Ten.The tutors associated with the program have been instrumental in my learning process. Their expertise, accessibility, and patience have turned what seemed insurmountable into manageable challenges. The collaborative spirit among fellow students has fostered a sense of community and shared learning, where we celebrate successes and navigate difficulties together. The community managers, too, have played a pivotal role, ensuring that the support network extends beyond academic concerns to encompass the holistic well-being of each student.Triple Ten has not just been an educational platform; it's been a partner in my personal and professional growth. The emphasis on community, combined with the dedication to accommodating life's unexpected turns, sets this bootcamp apart. While the road has been tough, the sense of achievement and the arsenal of skills acquired make every hurdle worthwhile. In conclusion, if you are ready to embrace challenges, eager to learn, and seeking a supportive community to guide you through the complexities of the tech world, Triple Ten QA Engineering Bootcamp is the transformative journey you've been looking for.

From Customer Service to QA in 2 month

Joining TripleTen's QA Engineering course marked a significant shift from my background in restaurant customer service to the tech industry. It was a decision that brought a unique set of challenges and opportunities.

Balancing the course with full-time work required a disciplined approach, dedicating evenings and weekends to study. This wasn’t just about learning new concepts; it was an immersive experience that demanded both commitment and passion.

What stood out for me at TripleTen were the practical projects. These weren't mere academic exercises but rather real-world simulations that honed my problem-solving skills. Tackling these projects provided not only a deep understanding of QA principles but also a tangible sense of achievement.

The community aspect of TripleTen was particularly valuable. Interaction with peers and mentors created a supportive learning environment, essential for navigating complex topics. Tools like ChatGPT supplemented this support, offering additional assistance when needed.

A significant part of my journey involved maintaining an active LinkedIn profile, a strategy that proved crucial in my job search. Regularly updating my profile with projects and skills gained through the course enhanced my visibility and connectivity in the tech industry.

Overall, TripleTen provided a comprehensive platform for transitioning into the tech world. It offered a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, set within a supportive community. For those considering a career shift into tech, TripleTen offers a solid foundation to build upon.

Great Experience and a Push in the right Direction for QA Engineering

I chose the QA Engineering track as a way to bolster my current experience within QA work, and to get more relevant knowledge and experience with coding/software QA work. After reviewing a few different options, that were extremely code-heavy and costly, I found tripleten. The initial conversation I had with the guidance team was very promising and reassuring, so I took the leap and started the QA track. After finishing the course the assistance through the career acceleration program has been extremely helpful. Compared to the assistance you receive from college post-graduation, TripleTen works with you 1-on-1 to make sure your resume best reflects your skills and stands out from the rest. I've recommended this to a few people already.

Affordable, Flexible and Commitment to Their Students

Why did I choose TripleTen for my coding journey? I did some research and wanted a platform that stood out in the coding education crowd. As a graduate of another coding BootCamp, I can personally appreciateTripleTen's commitment to their curriculum and students, which exceeded my previous experience. TripleTen's program was thorough, affordable and flexible.  In contrast to my previous BootCamp experience, TripleTen's curriculum and career program was all about making sure I'm set for success. The promise of landing a job within six months of graduation or your money back is a huge plus, and not something a lot of boot camps offer. When it comes to education, TripleTen doesn't just stand out in terms of flexibility and support; it's a game-changer in affordability and content quality. The courses dive deep into the intricacies of QA Engineering, ensuring that graduates aren't just equipped with the basics but emerge as knowledgeable professionals ready for the industry's demands. TripleTen has cracked the code, providing a top-notch education without breaking the bank. It's a testament to their commitment to making quality coding education accessible to all.

Now, some detailed information about my journey at TripleTen. I started with the Front-End program earlier this year, I believe it was around April. Like I mentioned, I've graduated from another BootCamp last year, and that one was also Front-End. TripleTen compared to the other BootCamp (which shall not be named haha) was amazing. I have some knowledge about programming, so when I started TripleTen's program I was impressed by the quality and detailed information, some of which was new, even in the first project. It was a challenging curriculum, but of very high quality. I decided a few weeks into that program that I wanted to make the switch into tech asap (I hated my customer service job and wanted out), so I switched to QA - which is basically testing the software instead of being the one writing it.TripleTen accommodated me seamlessly. There was no big deal; I didn't have to pay even more money to switch, and it didn't take a lot of time either. Coming from the Front-End program, I knew that QA would be a shorter program; however, TripleTen clearly put the same amount of detail and dedication into the curriculum to ensure I was set up for success, no matter which program I chose.

TripleTen's features are pretty straightforward, which made it easy to just focus on learning. It's like a user-friendly tour guide for coding. The interactive learning platform doesn't just throw theory at you; it lets you play with it. This is important because coding isn't some kind of theory; you need to be actually coding to learn how to code. With that in mind, learning with TripleTen isn't your typical classroom scene. Don't expect someone standing at the front of the class and a room full of people taking notes. It's more like a straightforward dive into the curriculum, interactive platform, hands-on exercises, and projects – less like a lecture, more like a coding adventure. And that's the best way to learn to code. Not watching tutorials, but actually working in an IDE (like VSCode) to start coding yourself. For many of the lessons, TripleTen had a built-in IDE, so I didn't need to leave the platform, which was easy and convenient. Also, the built-in IDE was pretty good, so that's a plus. And it's all online, so you can complete the theory and projects without leaving home.

TripleTen also has a discord community. The Front-End program and the QA program each have their own, and I'm sure it's like that for each program. To be honest, the Front-End discord had way more going on, and the QA chat was quiet in comparison. But I wouldn't blame TripleTen for that; I think it's just a reflection of where the students are going, to Front-End instead of QA, so keep that in mind if you desire a large, active community discord. However, there are videos where the reviewers explain how to do some parts of the project, which was great because sometimes going from theory to the project can feel daunting. But, with the video reviews and the tutors who are available pretty much all day every day (they have a calendar you can check), you don't have to worry about the project being too difficult, although, expect it to make you think!

Thankfully, balancing a full-time job alongside the boot camp journey with TripleTen turned out to be surprisingly manageable, thanks to the flexibility of the program. The coursework, designed to fit into the nooks and crannies of a busy schedule, allowed me to seamlessly integrate learning into my daily routine. What made the journey even smoother was the constant encouragement and support from my success manager. Their motivation and regular check-ins became a driving force, turning potential challenges into achievable milestones. The combination of a flexible program and a supportive mentor made the balancing act not just doable but a genuinely enriching experience. As I navigated the intricacies of coding and the demands of a full-time job, the journey felt less like a tightrope walk and more like a guided marathon toward success.

If you find yourself in the shoes I once wore, discontent with a job that's more of a daily grind than a passion, TripleTen might just be your next step. I was stuck in a job I loathed, looking for a way out that wouldn't demand at least 4 years of education and the hefty price tag. That's when I stumbled upon TripleTen. It wasn't just another boot camp; it was a ticket to a career shift without the prolonged academic timeline. The unique flexibility and hands-on approach make learning practical and applicable, a refreshing departure from traditional education. TripleTen isn't just about coding; it's about unlocking a door to a realm of opportunities. The supportive community, real-world projects, and career guidance ensure you're not just learning; you're gearing up for success in the real-world tech landscape.
As of this review, I have one last project left in the QA program, and I've learned so much in a relatively short amount of time. Also, the price was affordable; I didn't even need to take a loan, so I'm graduating debt-free, which is basically impossible for any traditional educational program. Everyone I came into contact with at TripleTen was on my side and knowledgeable. If I could go back and choose TripleTen instead of wasting my time and money at the other BootCamp, I would. The career program is sure to be a game-changer and the 6-month job or money back guarantee is one less thing to worry about. If you're on the fence, I say take the leap. The time will pass anyway, and with the money-back guarantee, you're in good hands. Good luck!

An informative self-paced boot-camp!

I started TripleTen because I wanted to learn to do something that I could both enjoy and make work with my hearing loss. Their Quality Assurance Engineering program seemed like it would be a great opportunity for me. Not only do I enjoy learning the different methods for finding bugs and reporting them, but a good portion of the lessons tied into my previous experience as a graphic designer.I found that the TripleTen program also worked well around my day job, and with the limitations I have with my hearing loss. All the lessons are online which made it easy for me to do the reading portions on my lunch breaks and the practice portions when I was at home. Also, many of the sprints and their projects have video tutorials that go with them, as well as a dedicated section on the TripleTen Discord where I was able to ask questions and receive feed back when I needed help. The majority of the videos even let me turn the captions on (again a big deal for me). When I asked a question I was able to receive feedback reasonably quickly, and I never felt as if my questions were unreasonable, even on the occasion where I found the answer on my own within fifteen minutes of asking it in the Discord. It's a very self-paced program, and I tend to be super motivated when I'm learning things, so I think I was actually able to finish the course several weeks faster than anticipated. I feel like they give you plenty of time to get things done even while working around every day life and a full time job. I will also say that TripleTen is very good about asking for feedback on each section and working to improve their lessons to provide a great experience. I struggles a bit with the JavaScript portion because it was entirely new to me, and I do feel there's room for improvement in how some of that material is presented, but I also feel like my voice was heard when I offered feedback. My Community Manager also was amazing. She checked in on me regularly, sent me tutorial links when I couldn't find them, helped me work out a problem I had when trying to link my project so the reviewer could see it, and even gave me extra time on one of my project when I had a family emergency. The reviewers also gave concise, but clear feedback. I could usually tell exactly what they suggested I needed to work on or correct, and the submission and feedback process for each project was very straightforward with clear instructions. It's normal to take two rounds to get a project passed so please don't feel discouraged if you don't get a project on your first try!I have not joined the career acceleration program quite yet, but believe me when I say I'm very excited to get some career coaching and start the next step on this journey.

Just what I was looking for, thanks TripleTen

Choosing a Bootcamp was not easy, I'm not going to lie, but I was comparing several bootcamps to find out which one was best for me. I decided on the QA Engineer program because it seemed interesting and a way to get started in the world of technology. The program provides an essential education.Triplete convinced me not only because of how flexible they are with schedules, but also because of how fast they are. They are attentive, they clarified my doubts, the payments are very flexible, and they also have a high rate of graduates who have found work after finishing. the program and if they don't, you will get your money back guaranteed. Another thing that caught my attention is that they have externships for work experience. To study I try to do it after work, at least 3 hours a day or if I have free days I dedicate a little more time, I can say about 15 hours a week.My TripleTen experience has been amazing! I love the interactive platform and the projects are my favorites, why? I like the idea of having to interact and put into practice what I have studied, when my project is correct it makes me want to move forward and not give up.  The learning team and community are very supportive and helpful. I learned a lot from them.  But overall, I'm really enjoying it!

Challenging program with a supportive community!

After months of searching, I'm thrilled that I ended up choosing TripleTen's QA program. The program provides a comprehensive education in QA (manual & automation), as well as other essential skills like SQL and working with CLI's. The Discord community is a fantastic source of support, always ready to assist. The personalized one-on-one sessions with seasoned QA professionals were a standout feature. As a career changer going into the tech job market for the first time, the guidance of a dedicated career coach has proven invaluable. They've helped polish my LinkedIn profile, cover letter, and resume, ensuring they truly shine.

A challenging but fulfilling bootcamp experience

Starting my journey as a QA Engineer was a mix of tough challenges and enjoyable moments. I chose to learn QA Engineering because of my passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of software in our tech-driven world. I've always had a passion for technology and a keen interest in making sure digital products meet high-quality standards. This drove me to start learning QA Engineering. I picked TripleTen, which used to be Practicum because they're known for excellent tech education. What really got my attention were their practical projects that feel like real work and their easy-to-use platform. Those projects taught me a lot, and the platform made learning a breeze. As I delved deeper into the tech realm, I realized the crucial role that quality assurance plays in delivering reliable software. Software applications are becoming increasingly complex, and the margin for error is minimal. A single glitch or bug can have significant consequences, ranging from inconveniences for users to critical security breaches. It became evident that the pursuit of excellence in software quality was essential. This realization led me to the path of QA Engineering. I wanted to be part of the solution, to contribute to the development of technology that not only meets but exceeds user expectations. QA Engineering, with its focus on identifying and rectifying software defects, resonated with me. It offered the opportunity to apply my passion for technology in a meaningful way, ensuring that software products are of the highest quality possible. TripleTen has made my QA journey both demanding and fun, and I'm eager to see where it leads me. I aim to start working as a Manual mobile QA soon with the knowledge I’ve acquired at TripleTen.
