Product Management

Before committing to Product Gym, I researched countless of programs, from coding and data science bootcamps to Product School in the effort to make a career switch. Product Gym was the only program that 1) allowed me to continue my full-time job,  2) prepared me for real-world product management experiences, and 3) most importantly, was solely focused on converting applications into job offers. They work with you from the very start (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn) all the way through the interview process (coaching calls, product courses) and the job offers (1-1 negotiation session). The program is filled with tips that you would never find through Google, and thus the material provided is extremely valuable. Initially, I was a bit skeptical after joining PG as the program is very aggressive (almost militaristic) in what you need to do to succeed (e.g. very specific resume and LinkedIn format). However, after just 1 month, I had converted more job applications to interviews than I had ever expected. So, if you enroll, trust the process and be prepared to have no free time! Once you pay for the program, your membership to PG never expires and the resources will always be at your disposal. A great investment in my book.

If you're looking to transition into product management, this is the best option.  I also attended Product School and feel that the curriculum and job support are more robust at Product Gym.  The support you receive from re-branding your resume throughout the interview process is unmatched.  

Product Gym provides the best resources for breaking into product management. They give you all the tools you need such as resume/cover letter help, interview prep for the different rounds of the PM interview process, and informative online classes taught by amazing product managers. I went from having 0 interviews before becoming a member, to having 4 interviews per week!  The PG team is incredibly helpful and the community is very supportive. I am very grateful for Product Gym and I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to land their dream PM role. 

Joining Product Gym was the absolute best decision I made in my professional career. Biggest pros are really the community they have built, the classes/content, and the outstanding support from the PG coaches for anything Product related. The content is curated around a PM role and instructors are talking not just about concepts but real world examples and in that way PG is better than any stand alone course, or even college curriculum. The PG coaches provide really valuable mentorship and help to a great degree navigate job search. I do not come from a tech background and was a big skeptic when I first joined but with every session/class I developed newer perspectives to the Product Manager role, gained confidence and made use of the awesome community within the PG environment. Above all, they provide a realistic approach to Product job search that if diligently followed will ONLY lead to success, even in this economic climate. I initially thought they were a tad expensive, but PG is worth the investment. 

I didn't realize how competitive the job market was for a PM position until trying to give it a go on my own for my first 2 months with no luck. Finding Product Gym was invaluable because they prepare you for the journey and give you the necessary tools to succeed in the interview process which resulted in me getting an offer!Along with knowing how to prepare for interviews, the product gym community has been a great support system and sounding board for any questions or concerns you might have along the way. I couldn't be happier to have joined Product Gym and proud to be a part of the PG family going forward. 

Expensive, but I think it's worth it if you need help with your process. The speakers and instructors are very professional and the focus on the job hunting process is VERY valuable (honestly, I think they do it the best out of all the other options). 

 This course is essential for landing a PM role in today’s environment, especially if you are attempting to make a career switch from a different field. Rich and Cody have the process down to a science and the PG team is committed to your success. The resume re-branding and application strategy gets you more interviews than you know what to do with and provides structure to the rigorous process of getting a job. You learn to frame your skillset and experiences in product management terms for the sole purpose of nailing interviews.  Classes given by industry PMs help you become fluent in modern software development and the various topics of product management (data science, UX design, marketing, etc). The cohort groups provide a supportive community, and it’s awesome that everybody collaborates with interview prep and case studies.  It’s a no-BS course that is definitely worth it if you put in the work and follow the process! 

I joined Product Gym (PG) in February and received my first Product Manager offer in May. This was not possible without PG. Through its workshops, consultations, and community, I began to think and talk like a Product Manager - which is all it takes to become a Product Manager.PG taught me not only about Product Management but specifically how to interview excellently. Being a Product Manager and interviewing well are two completely different skillsets, and PG teaches both really well.The best thing about PG is that I built a network of friends and mentors who motivated me to grow during this difficult time when job search seems impossible due to COVID-19.The only con is that it does require commitment and proactiveness to fully leverage all the resources and opportunities provided by the PG. 

Although it is quite expensive, Product Gym helped me get my branding up to snuff in order to land first round interviews, gain the confidence to properly portray my experiences in interviews, and learn about the finer points of product management to convert interviews to offers. The bi-weekly coaching calls were very helpful for getting all my questions answered regarding the day-to-day of interviewing and the classes were led by elite product managers and experts on a variety of topics that PMs need to abreast of to be competitive in market. I highly recommend this program for more junior and experienced product managers alike. The community of PMs in the program is fantastic and everyone in my cohort was always willing to help with everything from little questions to case study practice sessions. Mind you this entire course was virtual during COVID-19 - well done Product Gym!

I'm a great PM and I also thought I was a great interviewer. After a few final rounds that didn't go my way Product Gym identified and solved my problem, quantity. During every interview process I had beforehand I knew all my eggs were in one basket, if I didn't land that job I was back to square one.With PG consistently had a number of interview, this took off the pressure in having the preform each time (which I did once the pressure was off). They also gave me a step by step guide in how to land the offer, email templates, exactly how to answer specific questions, they know what make companies tick. I not only was able to land the offer but also learned a skillset that I'll be using many times in the future. I'm confident I'll always be able to land a new role when I'm ready for a switch. 

Good for aspiring product managers. Interviewing for product manager jobs is a grueling process, and Product Gym provides a support structure and helps you stay motivated.

I love Product Gym. It has been the biggest motivation for me to get what I needed to since a long time. 

I actually searched online for different PM courses and finally chose Product Gym. Product gym is unlike any other program out on the market. Other programs only prepare you for a variety of things you run into on the job as a Product Manager. Product gym is the ONLY one that makes sense because they help you get the job! The team at Product Gym is 1000% committed to helping everyone there get that elusive product manager job.  

The Product Gym strategy actually works! Before I attended the classes I was on my own, backed with a traditional resume and interview answers, it just didn't work. The job environment has drastically changed, the old way of applying works for almost no one. Attending Product Gym's classes gave me the knowledge required to do the job but more importantly actually get the job. Their strategy is intense and a real grind but you will see results in only a few weeks. You will get the experience needed to land your dream job. I was HIGHLY skeptical of the process, this only held me back. I spoke to past students and the instructors and decided to give their method a shot. Within a few weeks I was able to land an offer! Pros - Great instructors - Large community that you can lean on - Guidance throughout the process -Resume help, interviewing prep. help with salary negotiation Cons- The PG pitch is very sales heavy  - The method is a grind, but they offer a job application assistant  not included in the package - I was not aware of the price sharing that rolled out the month after I signed up  

I landed my new role in 5 weeks. They're serious about getting you the job.They know what they're doing. They'll help you brand yourself and transition into speaking like a product manager as well. On top of this, they hold classes on various PM topics. This way, not only can you kill it in the interviews, you can kill it on the job as well.My favorite pros: - community that holds you accountable - lifetime membership - once your'e in, you can come back to their program as long as you want every time you need a new PM job- ISA program - NO UPFRONT payment required, you just give them 10% of your salary if/when you land a job. That way it's risk free. But if you think you're likely to get a job, I would do the regular fee because it's probably a 50% cost savings over the ISA approachYou have to put in the work but if you do what they say, you'll get the job! 

Switching to PM job is hard, and Product Gym prepares you for the best! Coming from consulting, it was tricky understanding the interview structure and making sure you have your stories tied together. PG helped me to understand the fundamentals of the role and prepare myself. I would have not imagined myself getting an offer in 6 weeks. It is an exhausting process until you get your dream job, but they stick with you throughout the process. What makes it really work - is the system and the environment they have built around it. They really focus on you landing the job unlike other bootcamps. They helped me change my outlook towards the interview process. Rich and Cody take great interest in how you are prepping for your role and help you at all the stages! This program is a MUST!

I was really struggling taking the next step in my product manager career when I discovered Product Gym. I  interviewed for a lot of product roles in the past, however was not able to convert those interviews into offers.  I had studied on my own, joined product communities as well as read many product manager interview books, however none of these produced results.When I started Product Gym, I was nervous that this approach would not work either, however I was wrong.
