Rich and Cody and team have figured it out. All you need to do is show up and do the work. The jobs are out there, but with PM it seems like we all need to be tweaking our job search approach in order to be successful in getting them. Rich and Cody have figured this out. The time and effort are worth it - but don't go in thinking you can blow off any part of the course or "homework". Do it all - and the job will be there. For me, it was within 6 weeks.

I really like Rich and Cody’s approach. These guys are the best. I first met Rich when he was presenting How to Land Multiple Offers in 45 Days in San Francisco. I have to admit at first his attitude kind of rubbed me the wrong way, but something he said to me made a whole lot of sense. Getting the job and doing the job were 2 different things. At the end of the day, I have met so many people that were great at “doing” the job, but horrible at “getting” the job. The best part was I also met other working Product Managers that felt the same way.
Considering that Rich had come all the to SF from New York and he brought with him a few success stories two other people that were a part of his program, I was sold! This turned out to be the best investment I had ever made. Within 2 and half weeks I had more phone screens than I could possibly handle! This was insane! I couldn’t handle all these calls and work full time anymore, but I really grinded through it all. The most helpful thing was how Rich PERSONALLY conducts weekly coaching calls. I mean who does that?
Every week he checked with me and my group to make sure we were good. We were okay. Thanks to Rich I landed 3 offers in 5 weeks with more to come.
I learned more about how to do this job interviewing than I ever did reading. I was averaging 16 interviews per week. Sometimes even taking interviews in the staircase or in my car on my lunch breaks.
Pros
Man just keep doing what you guys are doing!
Cons
Coaching calls are getting bigger, you might want to start splitting people up.

I’d already been a Product Manager before I joined PG.
At the end of August I left my job. The offer that I was waiting for ended up going to an internal candidate. So, I had no job and no idea how to accelerate the search process and find my dream job.
I reached out to Cody and Rich to help me improve my interviewing skills (that was important as I’m not a native speaker of English), give me advice on how to get more offers and most importantly advice on how to find the right product manager position.
It totally worked out for me:
- My employer is a huge public company, where I have every means to grow and develop myself;
- Awesome boss, who hates micromanagement and wants me to focus on one thing instead of working on multiple things simultaneously;
- Area of the business that I absolutely adore.
All thanks to Product Gym! I couldn’t be more grateful!

This is the only course out there that not only teaches you the fundamentals of being a Product Manager but shows you how to actually get a PM job! I currently have two offers and expect more to come in. To be concise, this course works.
Not only are the instructors really knowledgable and helpful, the job assistance is amazing. Cody is there every step of the way for you when it comes to getting a new job, from applying, interviewing, and finally negotiation!
Before PG, I was landing interviews on my own but failing. It was tough and actually very depressing. This course empowers you, not just with knowledge, but solidarity and friends to support. Recommend this to anybody looking to become a PM or looking to switch PM jobs!

I attended the Product Management course at Product School in San Francisco. Their course was informative, but I was not able to land a job after finishing the course and needed help generating interviews. I found out about Product Gym through a Product School classmate. Even though they are based in NYC; I wanted to send them a message to see if they were planning on expanding out here to the west coast.
To my surprise I found that they have been supporting students remotely from all over the world. I took advantage of this opportunity and sure enough, Product Gym did not disappoint. Learning how to generate and convert interviews was what took this course over the top. They helped me generate 3-5 interviews a week within 3 weeks after I enrolled. They showed me how to polish up my pitch, and their student portal provided me with tons of insight for interviews, and even helped me transition to the next rounds. Even in the 3rd to 4th round interviews, Product Gym was still able to guide me along, informing me how to answer certain questions, and even how to negotiate my salary. They have the interview process broken down bit by bit. Rich operates like a f%^&ing surgeon. I mean it people! Rich knows the process better than anyone else alive, because he actually has a technical recruiting background. I am doing more interviews right now than I can even count and it feels great to have a team of coaches and community that is rallying behind me.
Pros: Support, Support, Support
Cons: I wish I can have more time with Rich. This guy is a wealth of information; he really should write a book.
Final thoughts, DO NOT TAKE YOUR TIME with Rich and Cody for granted. These lads are getting busier (as they should be), so have your questions ready to go. I am so excited for him to come out to SF!!!

I am so happy that I took this course. Be advised, this course is no joke. They will get down to business and start working you even before the classes start and give you the opportunity work on your skills hands on immediately to get that job!. As long as you put in the time and effort, they will reciprocate and coach you every step of the way, also they will provide feedback almost immediately and show that they want you to succeed and guide you to the next step in mastering the art of interviewing. Product Gym is definitely the way to go on embarking on your journey into Product Management
Pros: Work intensive, coaches definitely want you to succeed.
Cons: Work intensive

Results driven is the key. They do not disappoint. I have been working with Rich and Cody for two months, and what I have learned has helped me land a position I desired and changed my perspective of my professional life the most positive way. I highly recommend speaking to them if you are seeking or want to get a new product manager position. Their process works! The weekly classes rock, they have very good guest speakers as well!

After finishing the course I was reached by 3 hiring managers for Product Management positions. The instructors were there to help me prep for the interviews( from the screening phone call, all the way up to the final rounds). The learning material and content published by Product Gym definitely helped me land a job as an Associate Product Manager for a growing company in the people’s workforce space. In addition, my salary increased by more than ~100%!!!! (I was freelancing previous to this)
I would definitely recommend Product Gym to any of my colleagues trying to break into Product Management.

I heard about Product Gym from Switchup and the reviews are great. Once signed up, they immediately put me to work even before classes started to give you a jumpstart on the course. This course is intense but was necessary to hone your skills in landing that Product Management job. There is constant feedback and trial and error but the instructors are more than capable on leading you towards the right direction. The things you will learn in this course will exponentially benefit you in landing that Product Management job.
Pros: lots of leaders in this company that are willing to guide you
Cons: Very honest and can be a little overwhelming, but good for your benefit
Graduate 2018
Thanks to Product Gym, they made me look amazing. From revamping my resume, touching up my LinkedIn, and even helping write cover letters, Product Gym helped me not only to master the interview process, but made me look good as well. And even then, they offer so much more such as a massive vault of resources and not to mention the alumni network. You really can’t go wrong taking this course if you are looking into Product Management.
Graduate 2018
Not to sound melodramatic, but this was a life changing experience for me. I met Richard during one of the Meetup events and one of the first thing that got me intrigued in doing the course was the level of candidness and openness to having an honest conversation about what my goals are. I was comparing Product Gym with Product School and what sold me on Product Gym is the level of attentiveness and personal investment they have in the candidates' success. It is one of the best investments I made in my personal development because what you learn at PG is transferable to so many more fields than just product.
The Instructors that they invite to teach the course are excellent in presenting the material and moreover are always open to having a discussion within the class and adapt to the needs of the students.
The coaching that Product Gym provides is applicable not only in getting a product job but in life as well - you will get the results if you follow the coaching and personal feedback that PG provides. The general community of PG is enriched through every single cohort and the overall group is incredibly supportive of each other in helping one another to get to the goal

I was looking into pursuing a career in Product Management and was looking for a bootcamp that’ll show me the ropes on how to get a good Product management job. I looked through several bootcamps like Product School and General Assembly, but decided to go with Product Gym. What stood out to me about Product Gym is that not only will you have more than 1 instructor that’ll give you multiple different perspectives on how to land the job you want, but also the availability to a multitude of resources at the tip of your finger tips. And what else is great about that is you still have access to these resources for another year after you graduate from this course, although you most likely won’t need it for that long anyways but great to know. They will coach you every step of the way into launching your career in Product Management. I highly recommend taking this course if you are looking to transition into Product Management.
Pros: Tons of resources available, even after graduation
Cons: Currently only based in NY, but hear they will expand to the West Coast soon

My time with Product Gym was one of the most enlightening experiences in my life. I was able to learn not only how to land a Product Management job, but also was able to develop the communication skills I was definitely lacking in. Many instructors available to help you along the way and very flexible and super friendly. This course is serious business and will definitely get you where you want to be.
Pros: Tons of opportunity to improve your skills
Cons: Brutally honest on feedback, but definitely will open your eyes
Graduate 2018
If you need help mastering the art of interviews and have interest in a career in Product Management, Product Gym is for you. I attended this course with subpar communication skills and thanks to Product Gym, I was able to get out of that rut. They not only helped me with my interview skills, they helped me build confidence in my speech and overall, gave me confidence to be able to tackle any interview that was thrown at me. This course provided me tons of practice and there was always an instructor readily available to help me through scenarios I had trouble maneuvering. Even if Product Management was not my objective to reach,, this course definitely helped me build my confidence in approaching interviews and made me feel as if I would be able to talk my way through any professional encounter. If I was able to gain this skill, you definitely can too if you take this course.

I first heard of Product Gym when I received notification of an Eventbrite session titled something like "How to Land Multiple Product Management Offers in 3 Months" Without Any Experience. At first I was like, "Bullsh*t" but whatever it's 10 bucks, and I'm totally lost on where to even begin trying to become a PM, so I'll bite.
I went to the session and found it to be way more tactical than I'd expected, with great advice about getting your resume past ATS, applying at scale, and most importantly, interviewing, interviewing, interviewing, and not being afraid to fail. I didn't even know that this was a promo event for the program but wanted to learn more, because I felt the advice I'd been getting from friends and blogs was naively optimistic and vague.
So I signed up for the program. Not gonna lie, there are some parts to this program that need a lot of improvement. The classes can vary from excellent to very flawed, and I believe need to focus more contextually on tactical PM practices like working in Scrum, building a roadmap and working through the product lifecycle process.
That being said, I am still giving this program 5 stars because of the individual career support provided in a timely manner when you need it, support from fellow students, insight to the PM hiring process, and ways that it empowered me to not care about job rejections.
At the end of the day, the program got me where I needed to be and I had a couple offers within about 6 weeks from starting, one of which I accepted, and when I negotiated my salary, the increase covered the cost of the program.
This program is ideal for you if you are:
a) A go-getter who could use some support but are going to put in the work yourself and eventually be able to make decisions on your own without the help of Rich and Cody (if not, you should probably reconsider a career in Product Management anyway).
b) Are ready to be, as someone put it in a previous review, a "vulture" in your career pursuit. This program only works if you follow the process and pump out the apps and accept interview requests instead of waiting til you're ready. You will never be ready. Take them, fail, learn, take them again, fail a little less, learn a little more, repeat.
c) You are not looking for a program to teach you how to DO the job. This is about how to GET the job. You will learn how to do the job once you get it, and I promise, no program ever could have taught me how to do my current job so it seems irrelevant.
Be prepared for your life to be stressful and overwhelming for a while. This is not a "fun" program. It's designed to get you the job and in the process, most people end up building a lot of confidence, but that's on you and how closely you follow their advice.
Bottom line: No one is doing what Rich and Cody are doing with Product Management and if you're up for the challenge and not easily deterred, I could not recommend this program more.

Multiple Instructors were always available to guide me through different kinds of interviews. From first round interviews, all the way to 4th round/ final round sit in interviews, they provided me a wide variety of scenarios that would likely come up and how to answer the types of questions you’d encounter, which helped my self-esteem in being able to handle any type of interview. Since you will be coached by more than 1 instructor, it will offer a variety of different perspectives on how to answer interview questions which made me feel as if I had the advantage on how to keep a good flow during the interview process. Not too mention, the massive databank of interview questions they have readily available for you to practice on. I highly recommend taking this course as they offer you tons of opportunity to improve your interview skills and ultimately, land you the Product Management job you deserve.
Pros: Tons of practice, opportunity, and feedback
Cons: None

Thanks to Product Gym, I was able to land my dream job. Before i attended this course, I had a crappy resume, no confidence in writing a cover letter, and fairly self-demeaning. This course not only helped me revamp my resume and cover letter, but also gave me the confidence in myself and helped me surpass my expectations that I was aiming for. Not to mention the instructors were always ready to help me whenever I had any issues. Guaranteed you will not regret taking this course.
Pros: Will taylor everything necessary to land that job. Very flexible and straight forward. Tons of practice
Cons: Ideally, would like all Guest speaker videos to be posted online to view later, but heard they are working on getting those up in the near future

Product Gym is one of the best things that ever happened for me. I was looking for a job in product management and needed some guidance on how to land the ideal job. Comparing Product Gym to Product School and General Assembly, Product Gym seemed more hands on and more flexible so I gave it a go and sure enough, Product Gym did not disappoint. From the start even prior to attending the course, they already had me work on certain skills to prepare for the course, and not to mention the resources they have are top notch. What’s so great about Product Gym is that I was able to access these resources even after I graduated from the course! Thanks to Product Gym I had the opportunity to land a job at my top 3 targets. If you are looking into transitioning into Product Management, this course is definitely for you.

Former Product Gym NY student here and heard that they expanded to Los Angeles. If you are a bit questionable about taking this course, check out one of their workshops where they host top Product Managers from all kinds of companies to speak to people that are looking into product management. After I attended one of their workshops in New York, I was convinced that Product Gym is, in fact, the real deal and took their course without any hesitation. I had to move to Los Angeles due to family reasons, and Product Gym gave me the skills I needed to helped me land an amazing job here in LA and love the fact that they are expanding out here to help out other aspiring Product Managers that need some guidance. If you are looking for a career in product management, Product Gym is the way to go. 100%.

I took this course earlier this year with little experience in Product management and had a difficult time getting my foot into the field prior to taking the course. Thanks to Product Gym, I was able to build the backbone I desperately needed and also even helped me tackle job interviews and how to maneuver through the process. I finally found the job I wanted thanks to Product Gym and if not for this course, I would not know how my career would have turned out.
