I was working as an app developer in the IT industry and wanted to switch to web development so I joined Spartan Coding Club's bootcamp. Since I'm already a developer, I first thought about studying by myself but you can only go so far being self-taught. I'm the type of person who learns by doing so I really wanted to be guided through practical projects. There, I found exactly what I was looking for and I even built my own web development porfolio by the end of the course. Out of 12 weeks, 6 were spent working on our projects, getting feedback from senior developers and reviews from customers. It was super helpful to me and I think this is an experience you can't get in any other bootcamp!

I was looking for a cheap coding bootcamp and found Sparta. Since it had a lot of good reviews I applied and I don't regret it! To be completly honest, I had a hard time solving problems by myself at first. But after practising a lot I got more comfortable and even got a job interview !I booked a coaching session and the mentor helped me think through 100 questions and prepare a good answer for it.I don't think I would have been able to do that well on my own.I really think this bootcamp is worth it. The content of the classes is extensive, you get to work with actual profesionnals and you also have access to career coaching.

I chose Sparta Coding Club because I wanted to learn as much as possible in a short amount of time. What I loved the most is that everything was made to keep our motivation up.The community was really supportive and we were all super close! Also we had that thing callsed WIL (Weekly I Learned) which is a weekly blog we need to write to keep track of our progress. I actually mentioned it during a job interview and they were super interested in reading it!Looking back at it makes me really proud of everything I've accomplished in such a short time.

I never thought I would become a developer, but I did. I graduated with a major in Social Welfare and had no coding background whatsoever. I started with a short online course on Sparta and got super interested in coding, which led me to the bootcamp. To be honest, I wasn't sure whether I made the right choice to become a developer. But my cohort manager kept explaining to me what was waiting for me at the end of this course and how she could help me throughout the course, which gave me so much confidence. I got a job within a month after graduation. Sparta was a life-changing experience for me. I truly appreciate all the mentors and our manager Yeji, who helped me whenever I struggled.

Don't worry about how hard it is going to be because this bootcamp will give you as much as you put in. If you really want to be a developer, go for it.What I liked about sparta coding club was that it was short. It was the most compact online course I found. When your goal is to get a job as a developer, the longer you spend, the more difficult it gets. Not only is it 100% online, but they also use a Metaverse classroom which was really fun. The platform is really helpful, especially when you do team projects.Honestly, I was burned out after putting my everything into the bootcamp, so I took a two-month break. But I was still able to receive CV coaching from Sparta 2 months after the graduation, and the mentors helped me build my portfolio to fit some of the companies I was aiming for. I genuinely recommend the course !!

Really, really recommend Sparta!!! My two criteria for choosing a bootcamp were time and curriculum. I wanted to study efficiently because I didn't want to waste my time. The way real developers work and the way other bootcamps teach is very different. Like senior developers don't actually give you code to solve problems. I have to Google and find it myself every time. Sparta provides good guidance, but not the direct answers in the course. It was really difficult but now that I think about it, if I hadn't learned that I don't think I would've survived as a developer. It can be hard, I'm not going to lie, but it is totally worth it!

Before I started the course I was very worried as I did not major in computer science and was active in a different job field for a very long time. It was hard to navigate what to study and how to get a job later on. I was able to find a lot of information on Google but everything seemed overwhelming and I did not know where to start. That is why I decided to enroll in a bootcamp. Instead of just giving us problems to solve there was always a clear guidance on what to study, which personally helped me a lot.If you work as a software developer, no one in the field is able to give you all the answers and you have to show a lot of initiative to find the answers by yourself. I was able to learn how to do exactly that and I am still learning more each day while working. After I finished the bootcamp I got three different job offers through the career service and started my new job only one and a half months later. For my practical project I decided to make a game based on what I learned in class. The interviewer even told me that my portfolio was one of the big reasons why they offered me the job.My mentor even helped me out with my resume and I also participated in the career coaching service where we did mock interviews and received a lot of feedback. It definitely helped me prepare better and not be so nervous at the interviews. If you are looking for a supportive environment that will help you quickly change your career I definitely recommend joining Sparta.

I was actually a software engineer at an international company, but I always felt like I needed to develop my skills to be a better developer. So I looked for bootcamps since they are short and intensive, and I landed on Sparta.I majored in CS at the University of Texas, so I know that some people don't trust bootcamps that much, but Sparta was different as they were stressing the self-driven studies. An interview with Manager Hong really helped me make my decision. He made me feel like the whole team, as well as the curriculum, are focused on supporting my successful career path - and it really was.I guess I have high standards for choosing a coding course, but Sparta was actually perfect since the way the course is built is very similar to how we work in tech companies as software engineers. The course is not just about learning to code but also about communicating and collaborating with a team as a software engineer.Of course, you can be very unlucky and get stuck with a few team members who don’t work as hard (I’ve seen a few cases), but I've heard that the situation is much better now with smaller cohorts and more managers.I’m really happy with my current work at a major bank as a software engineer.

I attended a free course from Sparta and eventually got into the bootcamp. The free course was about creating word clouds based on messenger messages. I had quite a lot of fun with the free course, and so I started to consider a programming career. After a few months of self-study I decided to join the bootcamp after attending the info session. Sparta was really confident in their expertise in coding education and explained a lot about the ways to find a job as a developer and how developers actually work in the field. I knew the course was for me haha. 😙 I think it's a really good bootcamp for someone who doesn't know where to start with a career as a developer. The curriculum is designed to help you become a developer in a short period of time. As a project, I created a website called Talkboot, a bootcamp review community. Our team actually received feedback from real users requesting the addition of anti-flaming/anti-spam features. The experience at Sparta made my resume quite unique when I was applying for the current company I'm working in. If you are looking for somewhere to build your confidence or want to be better prepared, I recommend joining Sparta. fyi it's very affordable too lmao. 🤣
